You know how long it takes to go through the process at the car dealer. Seemed to take forever.

While I was waiting for them to finish detailing, a young lady waiting for her detailing asked me 'It looks like you're getting a new car, why don't look very happy?"

My reply was 'I'm 65 years old. I've had a whole lot of cars in my time. Some good, some bad. I am happy to have the new car, but I'd rather have spent this time shooting. Every shot is good, cause even when it's bad... you learn something'

Like, Bartlein, Krieger, Pac-Nor, you know like those kind of barrels that cost $300+ retail? Either for pellets or slugs and include any specifics you want to mention.

Is there any particular time of the year when manufacturers release/reveal their newest line of airguns? About ready to make a purchase but I'm curious if I should jump now or wait or a month or two to see what's new.

This post is mostly venting. Been reading the forum to get recommendations on a scope and I think I narrowed it down to Hawkes or Athlons based on a lot of input. Unfortunately neither optic is stocked at any stores remotely close to me so I can't check them out before buying.

Do most people on here just take a leap of faith when they pick a scope and order it online? Or do most people have shops nearby to check them out?

I have been trying to find a adapter that I thought Archer airguns use to sell when he was in business. I have had no luck anywhere. It lets you screw an 88 gram Co2 bottle to a QB78 and also one that allows the same thing for a Crosman 2240.
I believe you could also get on with a on/off valve. Anyone know where such a animal is holed up?

My wife and I are going to squirrel hunt for the first time and we have to go to a designated hunting area to do so. Since we're going to be traipsing through the woods to do this, I'm wondering how vital having an illuminated reticle is when trying to get on a squirrel amidst a bunch of branches. I recently had to eliminate a small pest from our garage and it was very difficult to see clearly with the black reticle in our garage during dusk when the pest was active.

This is my first air gun and I haven't done any shooting with firearms in decades, so it was a steep learning curve at first. But after zeroing the scope (had to watch a YT vid), it is now dead balls accurate and I'm just having a blast shooting at little frying pans out back right from my patio, stalking through the woods hitting various targets set up everywhere, shooting lights-out from the prone position at ridiculously small targets like little 10oz White Claw cans (yes, I like White Claws, ok? Fight me) and pellet tin lids from 40+ yards. No bi-pods, no table, just hand-held like a savage. I AM ALL THAT IS MAN!!

I've put just about 750 shots through that thing without so much as a hiccup. Not a single jam or magazine issue. Using JSB Exact King 25.4gr and JSB Hades 26.54gr pellets. Still waiting on the .30 cal. Vendor hasn't shipped yet and it's been weeks, although they did send the ammo and green dot. It's a UTG green dot sight with the rail adapter. I figured the .30 is for closer range shots with more punch so I thought I'd try a simpler point-and-shoot setup instead of a scope. We'll see how that goes.

BIGGEST MISTAKE SO FAR: Going cheap on the compressor. I've had nothing but issues with it. Blew the 110v transformer on the fifth fill, so I was hooking it up to the car which isn't convenient. Now the compressor only gets it to about 2500 psi before it bogs down and pops the breaker. Spending way to much time messing with the compressor. Upgrading soon.

I have been working on this one all year. Have just had other project getting in front of it and pushing it to the back burning. A little time off work over the holidays and was able to get this one wrapped up. Light was fading fast this evening but took a few fast photos. I made the stock, the recoil pad, the trigger guard, and the cheek rest. A lot of design and fab time to get it to all come together.

I bought a quick fill adaptor from AliExpress that sure the heck looks like the EdGun Eazy Fill. Thing is, I paid $72.54 with the ends installed and delivered to Minne-snow-ta, the EaZy Fill was $179.27 with the ends installed and sent to me.

Funny this is, the AE filler actually works better and wastes less air. Me Likey!

For sale is this RAW .25 cal . This gun was purchased new in December of 2021 from Airguns Of Utah. It is tuned to shoot the JSB 33.95 gr pellets at 895 - 900 fps resulting at 61 fpe. Very accurate at 50 yards........the furthest I've shot it. This gun is a hammer and built like a tank. No known issues. It has a PG3 HO kit, HAWKE Airmax 4-12x40 AO AMX scope, and I had baffles made for the factory moderator which is permanently attached, so it's pretty quiet, especially for a springer. This rifle shoots 15gr pellets at 730-736fps at 5300ft elevation, expect a good gain at sea level. I took a chance on a Beeman underlever pcp & im very impressed with it . I don’t have a chronograph so I don’t have any of that data but it is shooting 40yards very accurately & blowing through a 1/2 piece of plywood.

This rifle is set up to shoot 13.7gr JSB pellets at 795fps for 60 shots from 230bar to 110 bar. The factory gauge now reads Regulator pressure.

Included is one factory daystate 9 round magazine. It is a used gun, so there are some blemishes, like a some paint missing due to what looks like a scope mounting slip. And a couple little dings on the stock.

I've owned a few AZ rifles, and this appears to have one of his Shrouds. Which is a pricey addition.

I'm asking $1500 obo for the rifle.

The gun is uncommon being a .20, and it's been fully tuned. Trigger is perfect as well.

I have personally spent over 5 hours dialing in this gun, and done what I consider top notch work. The goal with this rifles tune was to get safely near the 20fpe limit, and be able to shoot a whole 60 shot ft match with it. This rifle is capable of cleaning a FT course with the right shooter.

5 shots off my knee in Deadman around 22-25y.
