SOLD EDgun Dedal Stalker 6X >> TRADE or SALE <<

Thinking of selling/trading my EDgun Dedal Stalker 6X. It's currently on my Leshiy 2 and I can get pics tomorrow. Open to trade offers and also open to offers to sell it outright. The only scopes I may be interested in are night vision or thermal.

EDIT: I do not have an asking price, open to offers. Honestly, I'm hesitant to sell it but figured I would put it out there and see if someone could change my mind. :)

10 days with my new Crown

A few years ago I tried to buy a Crown when they updated the MK1 to 4 barrel hold down screws but after a three month wait I canceled that order and bought a Dreamline Classic in .25. The DL is a good rifle and I have it shooting 33.95gr pellets accurately with 60fpe. I’m 75 years old now and changing over to .177 because I am restricted to my home range and I like the challenges of the .177 pellets. My range is setup to a maximum of 90 yards.

Nine months ago I put a 600mm .177 barrel in my Impact MK2 PP and was impressed with it’s accuracy (despite all the negative comments on the FX .177 barrels). Was going to buy a .177 conversion for the DL but noticed UA had a special on the Crown MK2 VP so I bought the Crown. Received my FX Crown VP .177 on 7 Jan 23 from UA. Had UA install a picatinny rail to stock. I installed Saber Tactical picatinny to ARCA rail adapter. Also installed Saber Tactical bottle mounted picatinny rail. Mounted Optisan EVX 5-20x50i scope in Eagle Vision adjustable scope rings.

The crown came out of the box setup as follows:
Regulator Pressure ~98 BAR (Gauge needle just below 100 BAR)
Hammer Wheel 23
Valve Wheel Medium
Altitude 7027 ft
Temp 46*
Barometer 23.13 inHg
Pellet JSB 10.34gr
Shot count: 13
Low: 895
Hi: 930
Avg: 913
Spread: 35
STD Dev: 11.1

Best configuration I found after testing with just hammer wheel changes is as follows:
Regulator Pressure ~98 BAR
Hammer Wheel 14 (change)
Valve Wheel Medium
Altitude 7027 ft
Temp 50*
Barometer 22.94 inHg
Pellet JSB 10.34gr
Shot count: 10
Low: 868
Hi: 877
Avg: 871
Spread: 9
STD Dev: 3.5

Because of snow and cold I couldn’t setup scope and test accuracy.

Changed the scope rings and fitted a K&L KLS-M butt plate for a better ergonomic fit. Had a window to get the Crown on the bench (enough snow melt to get on the bench and to get a target on 30 yard target stand). Six - five shot groups averaged 0.48” (measured from outside of most distanced pellet holes) with one group at 0.32”. For me this is great accuracy as I’m the limiting factor in a rifles accuracy (and I was cold).

Next I will be testing 13.43gr and 16.2gr pellets as weather allows (snow expected over the next 2 days).

Other Hobbies ...

What other hobbies are you all into other than air rifles?
Me.. in the winter... restoring old garden tractors. Warmer weather cutting lumber on my sawmill, flying RC helicopters (electric 450&500 size are my go-to) Getting ready faze out helicopters and move to RC electric planes..

Crap what did i do??

So taking all the things into consideration that I did not even think of like cost of ammo the noise a .30will make hitting something .30 is over kill and if I really want it later I can buy a kit and make it a .30 I own the .25 I love it...But I just did a tune on it and I adjusted the power knob and now I get hit in the face with air coming out around the magazine when I shoot anybody know what I did and how to fix it?

Element Optics just released Theos

Looks like element Theo's, specs look awesome but looks pricey! Another entry into the top mid-tier scopes, pretty compelling features. Not looking for another scope but based on my experience with other Element scopes this one could be a winner. Street price supposed to be 2800 dollars which is a bit hard to justify.

EDIT: even DLO has a video of it! He just reviewed razor Gen3 and have good thing to say about the theos.

Airguns of Arizona is totally USELESS!

I ordered some Zan slugs from AOA on January 6th and did not hear anything from AOA until I emailed them about my order.
Then I was told they were out of stock.
Why didn't AOA tell me sooner? The website did not say these slugs were not in stock.

AIRGUNS OF ARIZONA ARE TOTALLY USELESS!

I ordered my Zan slugs directly from Zan and only cost me $3.00 more
I will never order anything from AOA anymore!

3D printed ammo available now!

We now have a source for printed ammo. Currently running. 45 cal ammo. I have tested this maker's .454 projectiles in my AEA Challenger. So far they do not tumble out as far as 25 yards. I am looking for a spot to get 100yrd shots on paper. I would like to see someone try them capable of chronograph clocking them. At the moment he is designing 30 caliber projectiles as well. They are all loosely based on Diabolo shapes. Any help testing would be appreciated. All your questions are welcome. Thank you for your time, New member, Kevin.

Where to get a 6.8L or 9L tanks refilled?

Where would I get a 6.8L or 9L tank refilled? I do not want to buy an air compressor at this point but would like to find a source to get a 6.8l or 9l tank filled.
I plan on shooting a pcp air target pistol in my basement. I would like advice on what kind of tank to buy, where to buy it, what kind of fittings I need on the tank to aid in refilling, etc.
I have no idea where to start. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks, Jeff

No love for AK & HI??

To all those who have listed in the past, have presently listed, and will list in the future, classified for sale ads.,—why do so many of you insist on excluding the 2 non-contiguous states in this great nation, from being able to trade our money for your wares?

If it’s the high cost of shipping—, why not just pass it on to the buyer or in the case where shipping is included, deduct that cost from the shipping cost to whichever state it’s destined for?
Trust me, the one thing we, outlaying states realize early on is the limitations set upon us due to our geographic location.

Is it returns that you fear? Easy. “All sales are final”

Is it the mysterious possibility of things suddenly disappearing in Bermuda-triangle-esque fashion mid-flight? You know that Pacific Ocean, it’s whacky and unpredictable. Hell, we haven’t lost a fully loaded plane since ‘48 (that’s a joke). But even In the off chance that it were to go “missing” (read stolen), is it really easier to go through the claims process if the package was lost 200 miles away versus 2000 miles away? This really is a problem that tends to solve itself. Ex. If I want to buy a high-end PCP from a fellow forumite in Florida, and the cheapest rate either of us can find is say $200 for shipping, then that issue solves itself, ‘cause I sure as hell ain’t paying no $200 for shipping.

Here’s something that mainlanders might not know as it relates to shipping offshore. Whereas, the prices of FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS, and whomever else is out there, are competitively priced, in the contiguous 48, this is not true where I live. In Hawaii the USPS is significantly cheaper than anyone else. So much so that the other shippers aren’t even in the conversation most of the time . I’m 51 years young, and have never in my life shipped anything via FedEx.

Now of course there are an exceptions (Years ago I got something through UPS in 2 days,—but the fact that I still remember this, is proof of how rare a circumstance this is.). Exceptions to rules and all that.

Here’s something else that judging from a few of my interactions (mostly in the musical instrument world, another hobby of mine ) I’ve had with past transactions, that may not be common knowledge . Anything packed into a USPS priority mail bag/box/envelope, will cost the same whether you’re shipping it to Kalamazoo or Mauna Kea.

Now I see an issue arising if you’re like a small business that advertises “free returns” without any sort of contract with a major carrier, but with a few well crafted words, you could avoid anything that might cause your business to lose money.

I love listening to music and have been collecting vinyl for years. Any LP that I buy through eBay will automatically take around a month to get to me. The only good thing about that is whenever I get an album I’m always pleasantly surprised, because I have throughly forgotten that I bought the damn thing.

Was going write this in the other thread about the high cost of shipping but figured this needed a thread of its own.

Recirculating cooling system design.

20230115_185440.jpg

This is my set up for eliminating the need for the 5 gallon bucket and consistent temperature control. It was fun to put together and 100% maintenence free. (So far)

It recirculates automotive coolant from a resevoir at the top through the pump to a Derale intercooler on to a second radiator through the air compressor head then on to the flow meter back to the reservoir where it repeats.

I also use a 4500psi reservoir tank rather than fill my gun from the compressor directly.

I've been running this for about 6 months now with no issues. So far, I'm pretty proud of it though it was quite costly to build.

Maybe even overkill.
