Just got my first PCP in November. Went crazy stocking up on pellets and wasn't happy with anything I came up with for storage. After a couple mis sized attempts I designed this tray to fit in a .30 cal harbor freight ammo can. Each row holds 3 tins of .25 pellets / slugs. If I buy more there is room to stack a second tray on top as well.

This is my favorite gun to shoot. I have wanted a different stock for years. My buddy and I were out camping and hunting greys in Sept. We both use the same gun. (Veteran standard in .25) We rave about the platform, but both of us agreed that it would be better with a 'different' stock. Decided I would take the band saw and belt grinder to the stock when I got home.... But couldn't bring myself to tear into it without a back up. After some impulsive purchases and a steep learning curve, the little magic elves in the computer controlled hot glue gun machine made this for me. Definately need some finishing touches and tweaking but it is comfortable, surprisingly solid and serviceable right now. I need a bit more foregrip to attach to the picatinny in front of pistol grip. Maybe just 2-3". Either printed out of rubber or Rubber scales that are mounted like the grip... I want to print a little rubber cheek piece and maybe a fill probe holder. I think I can find a mag holder already designed online, but want one for sure... what else would you guys do or change?

So as the title states, still looking for that 177 slug shooter. I just cancelled my FX Panthers order, figured I'd wait a while and see if any issues come up with this new platform before I reorder one. This frees up some funds for another gun! So far my 177's are a Daystate Delta Wolf 23", FX Impact M3 600mm and AGT Vixen long. My Delta Wolf is a fantastic pellet shooter and shoots Howler slugs ok but I really need to crank the reg way up to get speeds up with anything 13gr or higher. My M3 does well with Zan 13gr and no lack of power which is nice. It doesn't seem to like any of the 15gr and heavier slugs. I do have the 177 slug barrel on order but who knows when those will start shipping. My Vixen is a great gun but never intended it to be a heavy slug shooter due to its short barrel and small tank. Its my go to for pesting around the house with JSB 10gr pellets. I have narrowed my next gun to the RTI Prophet2 performance or Uragan 2 600mm. Let me know if any of you have any experience on these 2 with 15gr or heavier slugs! Which do you think would be the better slug shooter or is there another gun I may have over looked!!!

In the last week + I’ve put Vortek kits in a HW80, HW30 and a TX200. Today I’m diving into a Pro Sport. Pretty well every one knows the Pro Sport is the crème de la crème as far as looks go. After taking it apart I feel the same as it’s internals. This is why it’s so expensive. The beautiful work on the exterior of this gun continues on the internals.
‘The Piston and housing are second to none. No wonder this baby was so smooth.
The piston has a synthetic bushing to eliminate friction.
What a gorgeous set up.
I‘m not an expert of any sort. But I can tell you the quality on this gun doesn’t stop.
Totally enjoying this part of the phase.

Pretty much like the what state to retire thread - wondering what countries have the best laws concerning PCP's for expats?

I've given up on looking for a country to move to where expats can own firearms, so I just travel in 2-4 week stints so I don't really get the itch to shoot that much. I'm going to start doing 3mo+ trips and at that point I know I'm going to want to do some shooting. You can only be in the gym and the bars for so long.

If anyone's got any info love to hear it!

Q4 2022 proved to me it’s time to cull the local herd a little.

In November, I had some squirrels decide to move into my gutter. I’m sure they thought the gutter helmets kept them nice and cozy. I evicted them in late November/ early December.

At the end of December, they got under the hood of my daughter’s CRV (<5000 miles on it) and ate the engine wiring harness to the tune of $4200+.

I decided it’s time to make things less hospitable. I’ve put out a couple owl decoys. I’ve also started spraying the engine compartment with peppermint oil.

I also decided to go a little further. Since a .22 might attract more interest than I want in my neighborhood, I ordered a Gamo Fusion Mach 1. I cleaned the bore last night. Knowing the included scope was probably garbage, I picked up a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12 today and mounted it. Tomorrow I will be sighting it in and I plan on doing some population adjustments.

I may just put a .22 short through the lever just as a point of reference on the sound.

I was setting up my OrionCam with firefly (10/10 recommend) when I noticed the pellet first comes into frame far to the right (further than the windage). I am shooting JSB 15.89grs at 914 fps from a Daystate Regal XL with Hawke Sidewinder 4-16x SFP scope with half mil ticks (true mil at 10x), mounted on UTG medium rings. Two clips below.

Clip 1: Shooting paper at 20 yards with a 20 yard zero, very little wind, 10x magnification. The pellet enters frame about 2 mils to the right, I thought it was scope cant and realigned the scope. The scope cam wasn't lined up or focused properly yet so ignore the tilt in the video.

Clip 2: A different day. I zeroed at 20 yards and dialed 0.7 mils up and 0.5 mils left to shoot the target at 50 yards. The wind was spiraling but the shots were consistent once dialed in. I don't remember if I was shooting at 10x or 14x magnification in this video, so here's the math for all of it: Pellet enters frame 4 mils to the right - at 10x this suggests I either misjudged the wind by 22 mph and was dialed 4 mils not 0.5, or there's a ~20 degree cant in the scope, neither of which are true. If this video was taken at 15x, that would translate to the pellet starting 2.7 mils right on a 10x magnification, which mean I misjudged the wind by 15 mph..

Anyone know what's going on here?

I'm looking to sell a super nice FX Impact M3 Bronze w/ upgraded Power Block, Orion magazine, WIKA air gauges, carbon fiber liner sleeve, FX stackable moderator, Captain O-ring reseal kit, stainless steel bolts, FX Foster fitting and factory FX hard case. This rifle is currently set up as the Sniper configuration with the 0.25 caliber 700mm barrel with Superior liner w/ bonded carbon fiber liner sleeve and 580cc bottle. I know that to fill the bottle I need to connect my compressor hose to the nipple on the left, but how do i fill the gun from the bottle? What do I need to buy?
