I picked up this barely used 22 caliber Hw95 Field Pro from another forum add. The gun was originally purchased from AoA 2/21' First impressions were the gun was flawless and I was (and still am) very happy with my purchase. The gun doesn't suffer the typical binding cocking arm as many later Hw95 family guns do. It's lightly dieseling. The chronograph shows 14.66 FTTs averaging 679 with an extreme spread of 8 and standard deviation of 2. The guts are probably good. The barrel pivot is on the tight side. Lock up is very good. It's twangy as all hell so there some sort of a kit in its future. I'll upgrade the piston seal to a Vortek at the same time.

It has the Luxus style stock that I like very much. It also has the threaded barrel and weight. I like that it has no rear sight holes in the breech

It came with a 3-9x40 Weihrauch AO scope mounted on Sportsmatch T02C rings. The rings can stay but the scope has an odd brown tint so it's gonna have to go. I'll probably end up putting a 3-9x40 Airmax scope on it. I have them on my 20 cal R9, 177 Hw95 and 22 R1

Some basic accuracy testing at ten yards in the basement shows promise. I'm looking forward to getting it set up to my standards and shooting it proper distances on my Arkansas property.

Not too long ago I proclaimed here I was done buying airguns but I'll gladly eat crow for this one. It'll round out my Hw95 family collection nicely.

Shooting 61.4 grain NSA at 1000 fps. 150 bar and 11 on the macro. Grouping .57 inches CTC at 41 yards. This is about max power for this reg setting no matter how much hammer it has. Very disappointing that the bottom rail is not more ridged (see video). I don’t like the idea of that much flex where the riffle is going to have a good bit of its weigh supported while shooting. I have never really messed with slugs till now, and would be interested to hear other opinions on these results that have spent some time slug tuning. I’m at about 5 out of 10 on the excitement level for this riffle after using it for awhile.

I went from slugs back to pellets and I think they suit my style of hunting better. I used to shoot Hades but for this rig I went with the JSB 34 grain MKII’s. I have been very impressed with the results so far. This past weekend I got a NC limit of grays. 8 shots 8 kills. The furthest distance was about 60 yards. This thing is a laser!

I have no experience with pcp pistols only pcp rifles. Have been looking a little and am curious about the Diana bandit vs beeman 2027. Or are neither good? Seems beeman has non existent support but seems like the 2027 would be easy to work on. The storm rider seems massively lacking in the reviews I’ve watched so I’m iffy there as well. Any input would be appreciated about these models or any other budget level models I’m missing.

Last week a showed a picture of the Kraford and Lyph gen 1 GigE- rail on my Prophet2. Yesterday I couldn’t help myself! I threw it in the mill and fitted it to the Prophet. It was surprisingly easy. All I had to do was mill a slot in the bottom it was .475 inches wide and .080 deep. Then added two .177 mounting holes that were on center of 2.480, super easy. The GigE rail are $139 at K&L web site. If someone wants to do this, I wouldn’t hesitate using a file snd hand drill. The area I milled out was minimal.

I messed around with my Mavrick trying different tunes and now I get hit in the face with blast of air every time I fire it. I checked breach for missing o-rings none missing. I bought this gun used it had an upgraded hammer but not pellet probe so I have mixed match parts but it shot fine before took apart. Any ideas?

Very accurate it has taken several squirrels over the years. Its pretty well stock other than I adjust trigger and hammer spring. It likes the JSB 13.43gr. at 567fps. It is fairly quiet with shroud barrel. It is a lot quieter than the PP750. Holds air forever. I do not have box. Fill probe included. The grip looks a little different but is ok. We wanted to drop this here for you guys on the forums, before most others get to see anything.

We here at Bullet Central would like to introduce our new magazine system for the Fx M3 rifles. These mages are made out of 6061 aluminum, are large enough to handle 40 grain slugs ( in .22 ), use a constant force spring so you don't have to worry about the spring loosing strength no matter the number of pellets or slugs. With the ball bearing at the center the mags are extremely smooth and will cycle about anything you need. We are planning on making them for the other calibers as well, the .22 was the test platform that we used and started there.

Now suppose you guys want to see some pictures .......... Now please keep in mind that these are still in the raw aluminum state and will be anodized for the final product.

I love the FX Royale line of rifles (400,500,Boss)

Two mods that make a good rifle even better are
1. Changing the stock side lever out for the Impact side lever
2. Adding an adjustable height cheek rest

I was just out shooting my 400. I can't imagine this rifle without them now. You don't realize what is lacking until it's been remedied.
