Looks like the 3 main airgun show highlights are for the pistol carbine, I see katran, umarex, BRK, Hatsan, Benjamin, all have new offerings, what do you prefer in this offerings. I see a lot of compact scope as well.

Years ago I bought some "exploding" pellets from someone that made them on one of the airgun forums, They were homemade with some type of chemical substance glued into a hollow point and shaped like a dome pellet. When you hit a solid target there was a small bang and flash. They we not dangerous or extreme and were actually fun. I haven't seen any in years.
Has anyone ever come across these? I would love to get my hands on a few or learn how to build them myself.

Got it, tuned it, shot it and am ready to pass it on. I really have no need for a .30. What I can’t kill with my .22 I’ll kill with my .357. It’s shooting great as it and has plenty of room to grow. Getting well over 50 shots from a 300 bar fill shooting JSB 44 gr at 860. I can do a full shot string, but I do not want to waste the small amount of .30 ammo I have. Accuracy is pretty good. Could be better with more trigger time. Comes with gun and one magazine. Can include ammo for the right trade. Willing to trade for airgun related items. Not sure I need another gun but you can try me. Only interested in a .22.

Hi all, new guy here. I'm a licensed gunsmith that got hooked on the world of PCP rifles a few months ago. I purchased an Air Venturi Avenger and Umarex Hammer. I quickly became addicted to the big bores. I wanted to try something new and thought I'd have my hand at building my own big bore 50 cal. I wanted to achieve 1150fps with 250 hard casts that a friend made. I started out with raw material, a 500/510 green mountain barrel blank, tank and reg. There's a bit too much to go into but I can fill it to 4500 psi and fire it unregulated which will dump the total air volume or pump it to 4500 with the reg and fire shots at 3000psi. I designed all the parts in my head and just made corrections as I went but putting it on the chronograph surprised the hell out of me the first time I shot it! This was unregulated at 2500psi. I'm trying to decide on whether or not I want to get into maybe producing these at a later date, obviously something better looking than this iteration. It weighs 8lbs without the scope but I plan to put a carbon fiber bottle on it. I currently have it regulated at 3000 with a 4500 max fill and get almost 5 full power shots at just shy of 1200fps with the current plenum volume.

I really like the scope but the weight with the rifle is difficult for me to stay out long periods of time, so I need to get something lighter. Hi everyone. I will be receiving the Diana Chaser rifle kit in a couple days. I'm thinking of getting a scope for it. I mainly shoot in my basement, I have a 10 yard range setup.
My question is: will a 4 power scope focus at 10 yards? If it will, will all 4 power scopes focus at 10 yards?

This carbon fiber accessory allows you to move your bipod beyond the muzzle of your rifle. By doing this, you significantly reduce the movement of your rifle which increases accuracy. It's very light weight and in used condition. It's made to use on picatinny rails. The QD pic clamps work but, I feel the design could be improved upon. What you see is what you get!

The Modular Evolution bipod is a unique one with removable carbon fiber legs and quick release picatinny mount. Longer legs can be purchased for it and put on in place of the ones on it now. Issue: drastic velocity changes
Rifle: JSAR Raptor/30 cal
Projectile: JSB Exact/44.5 grain
Temperature: 32-38 degrees F.
Background:
This rifle, recently out of storage, shot relatively consistently for five or six trips to the range, with velocity’s in the 890-905 range. Accuracy was not particularly good, hence I intended to tune it a bit in hopes of tightening groups, which were about 2 MOA @ 50 yds. Temperature’s then we’re in the mid 40’s.
The morning I was to start on it was colder, about 32 degrees.
Velocities were approximately 450-500 fps. I had not made any adjustments to regulator pressure (1900 psi) or hammer spring tension yet, and the reservoir pressure was 3500-4000 psi, unchanged from the earlier shooting sessions.
Thinking I may have a glitch in my regulator, I depressurization the reservoir (twice), gently tapping the regulator with a plastic tool handle before refilling.
The next day I increased reg pressure to 2200 psi an increased hammer spring tension adjustment about two revolutions.
This increased velocities to 850-910 fps.

I am admittedly inexperienced in this business, but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that is way too much spread.
Do I need to upgrade from a Ninja Paintball regulator to a better unit? No other controls were manipulated. I’m in the dark in Montana. Thank you.
