Hello fellow airgunners, hope all is well!

So I bought a brocock commander off the classifieds last week, I’ve wanted a brocock for a while now and pulled the trigger. Great rifle, almost no complaints! I noticed first shot that it sounded like it was waisting a ton of air and it seemed like it wasn’t getting as many shots as I’d expect.

Well I went to tuning on it today to see if I couldn’t help these issues. Played with hammer spring and raised the reg pressure up a tad. Still sounded like it’s dumping a lot of air, even with the HS backed way off. It really sounded like it had a bad case of hammer bounce but the gun seems to have a slingshot hammer setup which is how I cured my Kral guns of hammer bounce so I somewhat dismissed the hammer bounce problem. After playing with the tune and no difference in sound I decided to slo mo record the hammer and sure enough it’s got bad hammer bounce. My cure to this before is the short stiff spring/slingshot hammer but with this one coming from the factory setup this way I’m not sure what to do.

I bought this rifle about 6 years ago if my memory serves me correct. When it arrived I couldn’t help but stand back and admire the craftsmanship. Up until that point I had gone through some low end and midrange rifles like the Hatsan , Benjamin, Evanix to name a few and in my mind thought they were great rifles. I have previously described myself as a chronic tinkerer. Never leaving anything stock from motorized vehicles to vacuum cleaners. In fact I was so impressed by this rifle , I ended up with 4 at one time. Sold three of them off to fund other projects but this one stayed with me.
It has all the features one man could ask for in a rifle. It’s has an adjustable regulator ,anti double feed , rotary magazine( best I’ve ever seen) an externally adjustable hammer, great adjustable true two stage trigger, multiple choices of stock and lengths, accurate barrels , and are simple to work on and have tons of aftermarket parts.
I have added a few personal touches on this particular rifle, like sling studs with a Caldwell picatinny adapter magazine holder and biathlon lever. Made some minor adjustments to both the hammer and regulator. Also added a longer air cylinder ( not in this picture)
This rifle hits exactly where I aim from the first shot to the last shot on the regulator. It’s tuned to shoot the JSB 10.3 grain at 840fps. The perfect paper puncher.

Boy this one was full of emotion. This is why I got into air guns. So I could quietly dispatch threats to my family. I took the pup out, and I can see a brown figure absolutely zooming toward us through the woods behind the brush. Coyotes are a thing here, fairly large ones. So I knew the score. I am glad my dog listened right away and came right back in the house with me when I called her. So I went to my upstairs office where my .35 cal M3 Impact is on a tripod firing 93 grain nsa slugs at 920fps.

I opened the window slowly to my office and sat down on my chair. I could see the coyote retreat to roughly 50 yards. He seemed to have found some food, looks like maybe a rabbit. He felt safe at that distance. This is what happened next….

P.S. after that video I put one more in his head just to be absolutely sure and watched to make sure there wasn’t any movement.

I'm looking into picking up a Huben K1 mainly for shooting slugs, and I’d love to hear from actual owners and their experience.
I have read about some compatibility issues where slugs wont sit well on magazine.

Between the .22 and .25 variants, which one performs better with slugs?
Both calibers need a pen to seat slugs inside the magazine?

Also open to suggestions. If there’s a better semi-auto slug shooter out there that rivals or beats the K1, I’m definitely interested.

To give you an idea, the custom wood grip would be an extra... the optics if you wanted would be extra. Huma Regulators (two are installed and tuned) would be extra. I will be absolutely reasonable on price. I need $ for another project so these will be sold in short order.

Anybody used a A18 Co2 powered squirrel trap/ head thumper?

I have crickets, Uragans , vulcans, Veterans, Mutants Hubens, Pistol/rifle.Notos, PP750, and reximex ,, I have the 225 pc sae, and meteric on ring box from fright harbor Nitrile if that means any thing, also 270 pc oc green oring seems to be all sae Bot a box of red o rinds about 250 pc no size markings and onother red box wit a huge selection of O rings on T post,,, The ones the made the day to day fixing my Vulcan ii and my PP750 pistol was a set I bought for my Crickets 15 years ago...
Can I buy a box of many O rings just set up for PCP air guns in there common size with the correct O rings in them, Not all rubber O rings are made the same, Is there a best ONE? I bought some from the O ring store that some one told me about for the barrel of the RTI , I think I bought 50, And I have almost used them all I have 5 barrels for my RTI guns , So 50 was just right,,,, And NO I am not good with a caliper, OK but not good,,,,
I am wide open for suggestions , Lets here them,,,

I sent my Gk1 back to New England Air because it wouldn’t take air, last Saturday their tech called me and said the valve had jammed, that it was not user error and it sometimes happens, the pistol was now working great. I received it today, it had no air in it, I tried to fill it with air and it wouldn’t fio. I checked my compressor and it’s fine, I use two differnt fill probes, no success. I contacted John at NEA, he said to take the back off and push the cylinder all the way forward, i did that and it still won’t take air. I do not feel any air coming out of the barrel or anywhere else. Has anyone else had this problem?7

Got a Leshiy 2 Alpha Precision 600mm .25 barrel that i had modified by Alien Airguns and Bargains to fit an Huma/FX transfer port and also cut 1/2x20 threads for an fx shroud. It shoots pellets and .nsa 34gr .254 slugs great. I decided to just stick to pellets and keep my impact in compact form so thought id sell it. Can come with the impact shroud for a 600mm barrel but it is about an inch too long so would need to be cut down. $300 plus shipping for the barrel.

The first year with my FX Wildcat .25 (back in 2017), I was target shooting in the back yard from the shooting table at a 50yd target, having a great time. Then, I heard my wife screaming in the house so I ran in to see if she's ok. It was just a wasp flying around the kitchen. Took care of that and went back outside. And then, I saw it... my gun was on the concrete pavers! There was a slight wind but I never would have thought it was possible to blow over.

The black synthetic stock got a little banged up as well as the side turret on the scope.

Granted, it's been 8 years, but I'd like to see if I can remove the blemish. Any recommendations on how to smooth out a little roughness on the synthetic surface, without hurting the finish around that area of the stock? I would assume even a super fine sandpaper would make it look worse, unless there was a polishing process that could be done to bring the stock back to the original condition. It's not the end of the world, but thought I'd ask.

Have a question. Is there a .22 slug shooter that maintains a high shot count. I have a avenger .25 i get about 20 shots per fill very accurate and good power to 50 to 60 yards.and a vulcan 3 hp .30 get about 20 shots per fill excelent power and range. It would be nice to have a gun to fill and shoot for an extended period. I would prefer to push slugs as they seem to be better at longer ranges 75 to 150 yards. I would like to maintain budget friendly and not opposed to used. Im just wondering

I am new to the PCP world and have already acquired a compressor. For the last three months I have been shooting a GAMO swarm viper out to about 50 yards. I had no idea how much I would enjoy this sport! I can shoot PB on my property but being able to sit inside next to my wife and talk to her while shooting has been a top notch 10/10 experience. Not to mention shooting an air rifle is much cleaner than a PB! Also, worth mentioning how much quieter it is.

That being said my GAMO break barrel is starting to diesel... I think... I typically will have a fairly long shooting session on the weekends. about 150-400 pellets in one sitting. However, lately if I'm shooting my GAMO a lot it starts to..diesel? smokes.. smells.. I set it down for a while and let it "cool off" and it'll shoot fine again for another 10-15 shots. That being said I've come to the conclusion that I want more accuracy out of my rifle. Which has led me to the PCP rabbit hole.

I typically bench rest shoot and would like something capable of shooting 100 yards fairly consistently. I THINK I want to be able to shoot slugs too. Reason being is that I live in Illinois out in the corn fields and the wind here is relentless. Shooting out of my GAMO I'm shooting 11.75 gr predator GTO pellets and the wind tosses them around a lot. It doesn't stop me from shooting though but between the springer being hold sensitive and the wind it can be frustrating.

SO I am in a bit of a dilemma.. I currently have $800 saved for a PCP air rifle. I would like to stay local as far as branding for fear of not being able to receive parts should I need them (USA)

I really like this because of the price point and legacy. My buddy who got me into this sport has two P-rods he has built with CF bottles and completely transformed it into a work of art.
However, I like the traditional wood stock rifle look.

I think this is the biggest for me. SHOT COUNT seems TERRIBLE and I can't find the parts for a bottle conversion...
a 20-30 shot count is a killer for me. the field and target model seems great with 80-90 shot per fill but I'm worried that you're trading shot count for power... so would the field and target just be a pea shooter? How would that affect it at say 100 yards...would the field and target be capable of shooting slugs? Or does it lack the power...
not regulated (unless field and target or I regulate it myself)

I've heard it's relatively loud. which would mean the Mrs. would kick me outside with it lol. I have seen you can attach a donny fl silencer to it. I do prefer the look of the non shrouded version but have seen the pressed on threads come off on a review while shooting it and that has REALLY made me question whether or not it's worth it. But if it has to be shrouded so be it. still a nice rifle.

I know it's across the pond but the price is just right. great shot count and power. I would love to shoot .177 seems you can get so much more ammo per dollar but I have a feeling the winds out here would really break my heart how is it dealing with parts and service from daystate? they seem to have reasonable reputation.


I know I could get more of a mid range like the avenger x but I try to stay clear of Chinese products with my hobbies. I am also a huge knife nut and only buy American made knives. I just don't get the same satisfaction buying Chinese goods. (I'm not saying they can't make a great product)


I'm open to any suggestions and advice anyone could give on the matter or any other rifles that I could be overlooking. Thank you!

These were the last little pieces I had been stalling to fabricate .. today was that day to just Get-R-Done

Utilizing the OEM trigger blade which has some shapes not willing to fabricate from billet, we just figured out the where and attached a spring steel rod, bent where wanted for set back & angle, made a button and we have a semi adjustable trigger blade after cutting off the old one. Button can go up/down or able to rotate finger side face. Kinda targetish .. kinda Ghetto

Up on the cocking arm made a new drop down handle being larger in diameter with poly o-rings for grip feeling much improved from the original.

First the people on this forum are wonderfully generous. I've been toying with the idea of knocking the comb down on my dearest most used rifle. My first Hw30 from 2016. I call it my "Baby" BB gun because of its size and adoration. For sentimental reasons I didn't want to experiment with the original stock so I was asking around for a beater take off to try.
Enter @maxtrouble. Out of nowhere he unsolicitedly sent me a brand new take off stock. It was such perfect condition I couldn't take a belt sander to it. Instead I swapped it with the dented stock on my wife's Hw30.

I belt sanded the comb to where it fit me and sent it to a friend here, @Bear-of-Grayling. He stripped it refinished to this gorgeous finish. Which wasn't easy. He turned the thing around in week without discussing payment. I'm very grateful that the people here are so kind and generous. Now my "Baby" has a new much nicer and better fitting stock with more sentimental value than the original. Thank you guys!

My trusty HW110 Laminate in .22. I’ve had it for a couple of years now. Stupidly quiet and super accurate. This thing loves the HN Barracuda Hunter pellets. It’s not a powerhouse, it sends them at around 800 fps very consistently and accurately. Same with JSB 18grn.
Super fun for birds cause it so quiet that the other birds usually stay there after their buddy just went down.

The stock is not 100% mint. It has a few dings as shown in the pictures, but they are very small and hard to notice. The gun is still beautiful.
Comes in the factory box with all paperwork, 3 magazines and fill probe. Only 2 magazines shown in the picture, there’s one inside the gun, so 3 are included. Scope and rings not included.
