New to me 20 cal HW98.

I always wanted a HW98. A friend here sent me one in 20 cal to tune and I immediately loved it. He waited 14 months for it so when I saw a post someone was considering selling one I offered him a fair price for it.

The gentleman was great and pointed out even the most minute defects. He packaged it up beautifully and shipped it within a couple days of getting the check.

It's a 2009 20 caliber HW98. I'm very happy to finally own one.

PCP Rifle  SOLD Weihrauch hw 110 22 cal

Have a modified hw 110 with laminate thumbhole stock. The modification is a titanium air tube which is clearly longer than the factory tube. also probably 50-60cc more volume. You can see the difference in picture. this resulted in removal of weihrauch moderator, I replaced it with a donnyfl tanto. The stock looks great overall, there are 2 blemishes on bottom by the grip. the air tube has some blemish by fill port, but it's not bad. It's a weihrauch, so the magazine loading is a touch fiddly, takes a little getting used to then it works nicely. Package comes with fill probe and 4 mags in a very nice Kube case. The original air tube is also included. I will ship it in an extra FX hard case I have for $675 Paypal F&F or add fees. $650 shipped if you don't want the case. Conus only, thank you.

Tuning  Andreas from FX might help out, deleted the original post

Fredrick had advised me that Andreas from FX will look into the matter.

I wrote to FX addressing Andreas but he might be busy and couldn't reply.

Out of frustration of FX users in my country I had posted as they blame me if they buy FX on my recommendation.

Fredrick didn't like my earlier post as he had advised Andreas to help me on the other hand I couldn't come in contact with Andreas.

That might caused misunderstanding and I took it as FX is no more standing with its products. Looks like its not the case.

Any ill feeling is regretted.

Forgive me, noob Oring question (identification related)

So I am currently putting together Oring kits to have on hand for my Evol Collection, with that said, I am a dope and am having a hard time making sure I am ordering the right ones.

Slayer said you can use the middle numbers C-025-122-21(highlighted and underlined) in his part numbers to source the orings , that particular one is Viton 90 Durometer, when I search on places like oringsandmore , results come up but multiples do and I am having a hard time distinguishing, orings are not something ive ever had to source except via manufacture part number and I am probably way over thinking this.

PCP Rifle  SOLD Lelya 2.0 22cal

I recently aquired this to try it out. While it does really well in the accuracy and power department, it doesn’t fit me well due to me being a larger guy.

Lelya 2.0 22 cal shooting 14.3 crosman pellets at 905fps. I turned it down from when I received it shooting 18gn jsb at 905fps. Quick turn of the hammer adjuster and it was shooting where I wanted. Its spreads are also very close for just adjusting hammer spring and not regulator.

I replaced the front edmu with an analog gauge I had lying around. The edmu wouldn’t boot up. I will include it with the rifle.

1 mag included.
Asking $1050 shipped conus.

Scope and rings not included.

For more pics and questions, don’t hesitate to pm me. I have perfect sellers feedback. Feel free to check it out.

Thanks,

Andy.

Traditional Rifle  NLA Want to trade for an HW77K (carbine)

I'd like to trade into a nice condition Weihrauch (or Beeman) HW77K carbine with no problems or issues. Unmodified or modified considered.

I have several nice PCP and Co2 air rifles and pistols for horse-trading; as well as a few custom longbows and recurves, and some very unique, one-of-a-kind bicycles.

Initial contact can be by personal message, email, or phone text; but I'd expect phone conversations would make more sense at some point.

What ya' got?

Many Thanks,

Video of shooting Glow Sticks at Night

I have been planning on doing this forever, and finally got a chance to do so. Here is a video of shooting glow sticks at night...and the resulting "fall out", or "dribble out".

Here is a link to the video:

It took me a few shots to get my POI just right, so I shot a few of them twice to make sure that I broke up all of the insides sufficiently.

My HW80 is on life support after bear trap injury

I picked up my .177 hw80 in 1983 while traveling Europe in Amsterdam and brought it back to San Diego. About 7 years ago, I installed a Vortex piston/spring kit and in doing so, the saftey never worked again not realizing the saftey spring got lost. Anyway, this resulted in a bear trap which split the stock along the forearm, one of the forearm mount welds, bent the barrel, stripped the stock and trigger guard screws. I glued the stock with wood glue, had the forearm mounting tabs rewelded and some basic barrel straightning. Got overwhelmed with the other repairs and shipped it off to Steve at Pamona air guns. He found out today that the bent cocking lever and shoe will need to be replaced in order to shoot. Right now I'm sitting at about $250 plus shipping to repair if nothing else gets discovered moving forward. Steve thought there could be other problems pop up if we moved forward. Feel like I'm in a tough place. originally we were hoping for around $100 in repairs. Now I've realistically got to be wiling to put out $350 with shipping without guarantees it won't go higher. If I quit now, haven't spent much other than $37 in shipping to get it there. What do you guys think?

Tuning  Canadian FX Impact M3 limited to 495 FPS.

Good evening guys, I'm fairly new to PCP guns and this is my first post on this forums.
I live in US, but found a good deal on used FX impact M3 in Canada few months ago. I bought that gun before new year but never had a chance to go out and shoot it until this past weekend. To my surprise maximum speed of 22 cal 18.1gr JSB pellets was only around 500 FPS give or take. I contacted the seller and apparently this is Canadian version of FX impact M3 limited to 495 FPS. It was totally my mistake not paying attention to description before buying.
So the question is what is the difference between Canadian version (495FPS) and US regular full speed version? Is it only in settings or do I need to replace some parts? The current settings on the rifle is 150bar first reg, 75 second, valve adjustment is on line 3, macro power wheel on 16, and micro fine adjustment is on 4.

Daisy 717 Keyholing at 10 yards

I had a Daisy 717 sent back to the factory for a rear sight replcemt and piston repair. It was not holding air. The gun had been unused for many years. It was a training tool I had when I was a competitive pistol shooter. I recently got involved in airguns and took it out of storage to tinker with. I mounted a dot sight and shot it at 10 yards along with my air rifles. I previously only shot indoors at approximately 5 yards(15 feet). No issues experienced.

I got on target surprisingly quickly and groups were centered up. I just noticed the impacts on paper were not round as compared to the hits from the rifles. I then discovered the pellets were keyholing. I shot a group on a fresh portion of the backstop and it was obvious.

Question: gun seems to function as it should. I added a few more drops of ND30 oil on the seals just to make sure the piston is functioning. I was unable to see and damage to the bore. I tried diffepellets ranging from 6.9 gr to 8.44. All diabolo WC or dome pellets. All will keyhole. Walking to to 10 feet, the keyhole effect lessens… but sttill there.

Send back to Daisy? Any gunsmithing local to Tacoma WA? It was originally tuned by Roddy T of Eugene OR.

Acquired holy grail number 2.

Few weeks ago I scored an evol mini , loved it so much.....

...that...

...This showed up at work today

Peri and I took it out this afternoon to zero and test.

The opened up group is h&n 23 gr .218, this could be competitive in prs, that group is 75 yards , 9 rounds.

The small group were monster redesigns at 50 yards for 2 mags, i didn't even bother shooting further after that, peri was getting restless and she hadn't eaten yet.

I'm gunna do a whole bunch more testing.

This rifle is just as disgustingly sick as the mini, far lighter than it looks and aside from the grip which I hate, it's very easy to shoot.

I have been bit by the evol bug and I can only wonder what's up from here ? 🤔

Are FX Rifles Really This Unreliable?

10 days in and a brand new Wildcat MK3 BT hasn't functioned more than a few mags without having to be worked on. The gun arrived with @ 195 bar and we shot 3 mags through it, maybe 10 pellets sighting it in then 2 mags each. We filled the bottle and left. The next morning it had leaked about half the bottle out. Refill and I could hear a small hiss coming from the bottle area. Pulled the bottle and the stock then screwed the bottle on. The hissing turned or grew into a full blown rush of air coming out around the reg adjusting screw. Received a reg rebuild kit a week later and installed all new o-rings. Filled the bottle and found it about half full the next morning. Pulled the bottle, degassed and removed the reg adjusting screw to find the outer o-ring all chewed up when the reg was only ran up to 150bar. Ordered 50 sets of o-rings and installed 2 new ones on the reg screw this evening. Filled the bottle and slowly began to open the first reg. When it got up near 100bar I could hear air rushing through and filling the plenum but it never equalized. Found it leaking out the barrel. So now I assume the main valve seals have given up the ghost

I hear these guns can be iffy, but once you work out the bugs they can be reliable. However I'm so tired of fighting it already and since it's under warranty, I suppose it will be going in for warranty work. Any advice or personal experiences you guys can share would be welcomed.

JSB rebranded pellets...the truth.

AGN members, this is Joe of Predator/JSB. First off, the letter that I am posting is from JSB. I asked several people close to Predator to post the letter, too. The signature is Pavel's. The letter was created to dispell what is being said in the airgun world. Now I know this letter will be received differently. It, in no means, is meant to divide airgunners. If you have questions, concerns, or anything just call Predator (303-761-1236), and talk to us.

I ask that you ask not be negative, and just take the letter for what it is. Again, it's only meant to inform.

Sincerely,

Joe Iturralde
Predator/JSB

PCP Rifle  NLA Brocock Bantam (.22 Cal)

An all-around excellent shooter and likes all brands and weights of pellets. Has a Huma-Air regulator on it which really makes each shot very consistent. Beautifully smooth operation, reliable, solid and an absolutely great shooter and what’s nice about this one is that it has an actual smooth finish wooden-stock (vs synthetic that you see on all the other Bantam’s). Holds air with absolutely no leaks or issues of any kind.

Comes with a 10-round magazine, original barrel end muzzle cap, single pellet loader, and a few other parts (scope is not included).

Willing to sell it with or without the DonnyFL Sumo moderator ($850 with, $750 w/o). Shipping is included to CONUS. And if you’re anywhere near to the Nashville, TN area, you’re welcome to come by and check it out.

I’ve been on this forum for about the last 5-6 years, so feel free to check out my feedback and posts. PM me with any questions or interest.
