PCP Rifle  SOLD Left hand Evol Paradigm .22 Mint condition, big price drop!

I hate to even think about selling this one but I will list it and see if any of you lefty's have an interest.

LH Air Arms EVOL Paradigm .22 rifle. Purchased new for AOA 2-3 months ago. It is a piece of art as far as I'm concerned and it shoots amazing. I have it shooting 18.1 gr at like 850 FPS for an insane number of shots per fill, approximately 90. I think this is the 2nd LH Paradigm that hit US soil.

This gun is as MINT and MINT can be. It looks just like when I took it out of the box. It will come double boxed

I will take NEW PRICE of $1800.00 for it shipped to the lower 48. This doesn't include the scope or bipod. Feel free to PM me or text me at 405-664-4695 if you have any questions. It's an amazing air rifle. I have many transactions on this forum and not a single issue with any of them. Thanks.

FWB 10-meter collection

FWB 150 Tyrolean- first of the airguns to employ the sledge system. I added a hard to find forearm stock weight, many have no idea the threaded hole is designed for this.

Ok, Ok, I'll try them - CPHP

Since people won't shut up about them :p

Been meaning to buy a tin for a while and finally remembered to drop the $6.98 for them during a trip to Wally World.

We'll see how they stack up to my usual suspects. They're quite clean, and in great shape despite the lack of foam inserts in the tin. And noticeably harder lead than the JSB and JSB derivatives that I usually fling. Head diameter is also noticeably smaller at 0.215-0.216". I noticed that at first just by eyeballing them next to the JSBs and the calipers confirmed it.

We'll see!

Thermal shifting while ranging

In FT it is soooo important to range correctly (know your distance) for correct holdover or POA. I have experienced the frustration of setting up various scopes - hawke, sightron, athlon, Aztec, Swfa and even a March in my heated and cooled cave/shooting lair @74 degrees, where I can range focus from the comfort of my shooting bench out a window for at least 85 yards. I then go outside to practice my FT game on bucket and sticks in 80-95 degrees weather; only to discover my range wheel markings are now “off” 🤔
Comfort be damned - looks like I’ll have to set up my ranging wheels outside or figure out a way to know how much the thermal shift is throwing off my distances.
Thoughts?

PCP filter EXPLOSION experience

I was messing around with a MK1 spare mag, with a HPA adapter, just cheking leaks at 500 PSI (I was exploring the idea of designing a 3d printed pistol with integrated pump, the working presure of green gas mags are 150, so a 400/500 will produce much better results and the Mk1 Mag seem capable to take those pressures cause it's basically the same as the Co2 counterpart).

Well... test passed, I was about to bleed the valve but... meh... it's just 500 PSI, it will be a funny puf.

It is not...

A fraction of a second later, I, plus the walls, are covered in what can only be pulverized traces of the PCP filter, I can only assume that the air left on the pump, destroyed and expelled the compacted cotton filter, that encountered the air getting out of the mag in a tiny sport, creating a singularity. I never imagine that so little cotton matter, could make that much of a mess.

Pressurized air it's scary.

Traditional Rifle  NLA Selling Diana 460 Magnum .177 cal w/Vortek Spring $335 SHIPPED!

Hello there. I’ve got this really nice and unique Diana 460 magnum. Need to sell fast. $425 $335 shipped.
Has a Vortek spring (12 FPE). Nice muzzle brake too. Also has a magnetic lever catch. Trigger is really crisp. The previous buyer had intended to compete against the HW97Ks and TX200s with it. I never got around to shooting it much (as I’ve been too busy with PCPs). Will be shipped in a soft case. Scope not included.

Problem with a Huma reg. for my MK3

I bought a new Huma reg. to replace the second reg. on my MK3.I removed the factory reg., installed the belleville washers exactly as shown in the Huma directions....put bottle back on and tried to adjust the new reg....could not get any pressure to read on gauge. Degassed gun, removed the new reg. doubled checked everything and re-installed...same results. Tried different washer stack configurations etc. etc....same results. Was exactly following the directions as written....same thing. I took my rifle apart so many times I said enough is enough....put the factory reg. back in...no problems. I sent the Huma reg back to where I bought it from, I just could not get it to work no matter what I tried. Has anyone else had this same kind of problem with a Huma reg...?????

I called FX USA and told them I was having problems with the second reg., they said no problem, give us your mailing address and we will get a new one headed your way......That's pretty Awesome service.....Thanks FX....:)

New Break Barrel-Horrible Accuracy

New member here, just getting started with air guns. I set out to find something to plink with in the backyard. I enjoy shooting my long range bolt guns, and thought maybe having the a pellet rifle to shoot in the yard would be fun to maintain fundamentals. I am having pretty awful results with the new break barrel rifle that I purchased.

Some info:

Benjamin Vaporizer .22 cal

Crosman Premier hollow point pellets

This rifle did ship with a 3-9x40 AO scope (I question the quality of this scope).

All shots fired with the rifle set down on a waxed canvas shooting bag.

I am very confident with the scope set up/install. I have done this numerous times. Rings are torqued to 15 in/lbs on the tube, I started with 40 in/lbs to the rail.

The accuracy/consistency is extremely bad. Just trying to zero the scope at only 20 yards seems impossible. I have ran a few patches down the barrel, no solvents/chemicals, just trying to remove grease and oil from the barrel. Nothing but flyers all over my target. The inconsistency is inexplainable. Without any change to point of aim, some impacts are 4"-5" inches under, then suddenly a random flyer is 12"-18" low. Again, this is inside of 20 yards.

Windage seems pretty consistent (I'd say under 1/2 mil at the very short 20 yards I am currently shooting from, not great...but it is consistent).

The elevation is a huge problem. I do suspect the scope that shipped with the rifle is just junk and needs to be replaced. I figured I'd mention my dilemma here and see if maybe I am doing something wrong/someone has a similar experience and has a remedy.

I thought purchasing the Benjamin name would have yielded much better results. I really like the feel/weight of the rifle. It is very comfortable to shoot. I hope I can get this thing figured out!

BRK Pathfinder, Honest Opinion/Review...

Just purchased this little baby a few days ago, so far I am literally blown away. Yes its pricey at just over $1700 USD but for such a short barrel I was very very impressed with the accuracy. At ranges from 10-30 yds its basically one hole pellet on pellet, At 50yds even in wind I got a dime size group with an entire mag. The action is butter smooth and I do mean smoooth. The trigger is good, not FX good but good. The gun itself, is very light easy to handle and very aesthetically pleasing to look at. Even my wife, who most days thinks I am insane for spending so much on what she calls toys, says its very cool to look at lol. I put a 0DB silencer on it and its quiet yes but could be better might upgrade to a DFL at some point.
I bought the gun for short to mid range pesting and it is filling that niche very very nicely.
I was leaning toward a Dreamline Compact Tactical and with the upgrades I had in mind it would have literally cost the same if not more than this gun. This gun already had the bells and whistles I was planning to add so I just went for it and I am not at all disappointed. If you can afford one of these you will not regret the money spent...

Be happy to answer any questions or comments...

To look through steel

Today is different for me but hugely entertaining. I took six of my guns with iron sights out for a gentle comparison. What a hoot. First up HW30 .20. I had a target set up 10 meters away for a reason.
IMG_5957.jpeg
Just got this baby, no scope yet. I was able to get excellent groups, but found it difficult to see sights. This next rifle is my garbage find. FWB 300
IMG_5958.jpeg
Haven’t shot it much. Stop the clock. Should have my mind examined, what a gun. Five quick shots.
Where did these go? And why?
Get them back.
IMG_5959.jpeg
I really like these peep sights. Way easier to focus. This puppy is going to see a little more light. Nothing short of amazing. Talk about set the stage.
‘Next is another new gun a HW50 .20. maybe 10 rounds through it.
IMG_5960.jpeg
Once sighted in it held its own. Again I had trouble focusing but doable. This one will be joined at the hip one day, sweet guns.
‘This is my last score. I was looking at 3 rifles, I meant to grab the 350 mag. but I grabbed a D460 .22 by mistake.
IMG_5961.jpeg
This gun kicks like a mule, but accurate. I have it in .177 as well. I find the plastic sights a turn-off, but effective. This next rifle is the same gun with a different skin. K98 .22. I found out that were the same 2 days after first shooting it.
IMG_5962.jpeg
Man these rifles hit hard. Not used to it. One big difference is the sights. I like the 98 hands down on right.
IMG_5965.jpeg

Comparing these two rifles to me doesn’t make sense. I think the 98 has way more metal cast parts vs. the 460 which a strong seller in their line up.
This next rifle is the FWB 124 Sport.
IMG_5968.jpeg
This was the second easiest to aim. No wonder. This gun needs peep sights.
I think with a little time that 300 would never miss. My favorite today. The sport was second but was in the outfield compared to the 300.
I’m going to be on the prowl for these sights for a few other guns.
Impressed on sighting the target with these!
Which sights do you recommend for me to hunt for? Old or new?
Crow

Whiscombe JW80 MK2 .22 Silvertop off the bench

Shooting a JW80 MK2 off a front bag, benched (plastic foldable table, ha! ) is fun stuff.

Had a short outing with the Silvertop shooting lubed AA 16gn at 55 yards. I didn’t have a clear picture of the entire 3” gong due to foliage, but come on, that’s a huge target. I did have an unobstructed view of the carriage bolt head securing the gong to the chain, so proceeded to use that as a POA. No real wind to speak of.

5 shots took all the paint off that small bolt.

Now to get it dialed in on the 85 yard Zombie resettable target!🤓 1 7/16” top kill zone and 1 9/16”bottom reset paddle. Per the Amazon description top kill zone was supposed to be 1.5” and bottom reset paddle 2”, so this is going to be a fun challenge:

Here she is below with a vintage gloss Burris R/A 8-32x44 MD in a one piece adjustable Sportsmatch mount. I’m thinking of designating this beauty as a long distance bench rig so will likely upgrade the scope soon.
