So with a Paradigm .30 coming and a rifle for PRS , this one will end up not used, the .30 is my bench gun.

So this rifle was built by American Air Arms to shoot slugs. Previous owner shot some, when I got it I tried other slugs without tuning and then tuned it for pellets.

It gets 135 shots per fill shooting 18.13 jsb at 895 fps very quietly and consistently and very accurately 75 yard group shown. Will shoot sub moa at 100 if you do your part.

It does have a couple beauty marks that are shown that were there before I bought the rifle

I installed a magpul prs lite stock on it.

Still trying to reduce the inventory. The Bantam has been very accurate and totally reliable. It's an unregulated gun, but as you can see in the video it shoots very well. Comes with the sling set-up as shown, magazine, Huggett moderator, original box, etc,, The scope, bi-pod and rings are not included. does any one have a video of someone from start to finish of a field target lane ? A competitor walking up to the lane and then the set up /taking the shot and tear down /walk away ? this would be very useful to neubies how to be ready to compete .

After seeing the long lists of guns that some own, I have to wonder if that resulted at least partly from not being able to try one in person. There don’t seem to be that many commercial vendors operating brick-and-mortar airgun stores (compared with PB stores).

Not long ago, someone on this board did buy from a real store and soon decided that the gun did not feel comfortable...after he’d bought it. So that mistake turned out to have been driven by impulse.

But IF there is no such store within a few hrs’ drive from you, and IF you couldn’t rent/borrow a model you were interested in, did you gamble and just order it?

The question doesn’t pertain to the low-priced models sold at some big box stores, because those are easy to at least look at in person, though not test fire.

Here’s the results of another shooting session with 13.43 grain knockout slugs going about 1000 fps at 130 yards using the RedWolf.
The slugs are hitting the steel at a slight angle and splashing up and right.
It was dead calm and perfect for shooting.
The group in the first picture was going to be incredible but the last shot went wrong .
Such fun to shoot long distance, it’s addictive lol!
Edit: It makes me wonder what I’m doing to get two shots nearly touching, and then three shots nearly touching but out of the group.
I see this pattern often and am wondering if it’s that I’m not setting up the same way for every shot.
It definitely wasn’t wind or the rifle, it must be something I’m doing.

wanna build a slug M3 should I get the power block? What barrel would be the best?

Please give your thoughts, I have decent results with both calibers from my M3, just trying to make up my mind and work with one caliber.

There has been discussion recently regarding the utility of 5-shot groups to understand consistency of ammo and rigs. Some claim it is of no utility, while others feel it is functional. This video is an initial comparison of the utility of 5-shot and 10-shot group processes. This video begins to explore the use of 10-shot and 5-shot groups to evaluate and diagnose shooting issues.

This video uses a Tx200 MK II (.177) pellet rifle shooting at 50-yards as an entry point. This was done as a pellet spring air rifle shooting at 50-yards is more impacted by various elements such as ammo consistency, skill of shooter, environmental conditions, etc. than many other rifles. The results should generalize well to other contexts. The similarities and differences of each shot string process, along with their diagnostic utility, are considered. The limitations of both are also provided.

It was a calm day, in the upper 80’s and humid. The setting was about 450 feet above sea level. Air Arms Field Heavy 10.3 with head size of 4.52 mm were used for projectiles. The rifle was shot from a bench using an Allen front rest with a Protektor front bag and a Protektor #13 rear bag. The TX200 is equipped with a Vortex Diamondback 6-24 scope.

So my FX Impact M3 in .30 cal with 700mm barrel works good and I’ve been shooting hybrid slugs from it very well and accurate! But I’ve been debating pulling internals out such as hammer and all that jazz. I’ve heard of other’s polishing up those parts and cleaning really well to help tighten up their spread when shooting. Was wondering if anyone who has done this could tell me if it improved things and was worth the tear down?

I recently purchased a hatsan factor RC,
When I go to fill it up, it leaks rapidly out of the hole that the pellet gets pushed into by the bolt. I could hear the air coming out. when when I leave it sit completely empty from 200 bar in less than 10 mins.and that's all the gun will take is 200/300. It won't fill all the way. I get to shoot 2 mags as fast as I can before it's drained down to 100 bar/ yellow. PLEASE HELP ME. IM NEW TO THIS!!!

Just bought a Huntsman Mk2. The gun appears to be walnut stocked. I'm hoping to get my hands on it this week. I don't think parts are available any more, but hopefully nothing worse than 'o' rings........which leads me on to.....there doesn't seem to be any info on the web about 'o" ring sizes for the MK2. Does anyone know the sizes required or indeed have any more info on these?

San Rafael Beeman import. The online Weihrauch database lists it as being manufactured in 1982. Made in West Germany (as stamped on the barrel).

Scott S (Motorhead on this forum) went through this rifle and cleaned and relubed it. This was the first time it had ever been taken apart in its more than 40 year-long existence. Nothing (except the original grease), was replaced. All original internals and externals were reused. We decided to leave the original spring in since it still had life in it. This 55 has its original leather piston washer and breech seal in it since they were both in excellent shape (Scott did oil both). The one cosmetic imperfection is show on the rear sight mounting area - I was going to use cold blue to lightly refinish it, but decided to leave that up to someone who actually knows how to do such work.

It chronied at approx 520 fps using JSB 7.3 after Scott’s work on it. I fired it about 10 times after that, and then put it away. This power makes it perfect for UK bell target or air rifle silhouette (my initial plan for it). My plans changed, and this is now ready for the next owner to enjoy.

Hello, I'm looking to jump in the deep end and pick up my first PCP. I come from a firearm background and didn't realize that PCP technology had advanced to what it is today. My main focus will be benchrest and precision shooting, likely entering some 100 yd matches when I feel confident. I've been doing a fair amount of research and would like some feedback from some of you who are more experienced regarding the pcp rifles I mentioned in the title. It seems everywhere I look there is a large presence of the FX M3's, quality rifle or excellent advertising? The Delta Wolf seems very techy, does it work flawlessly or better to follow the KISS principle? Haven't found too much information on the Ghost or perhaps I'm not looking in the right place. As you can tell by my choices, I lean more towards the AR style of guns versus the traditional rifles. Thank you!

Very good condition! This has been tuned by John Thomas including the installation of a Vortek HO kit. It’s generating right around 14-15 fpe. Probably 2,000 pellets since then...its just broken in. Includes the original box with all the original contents and a .177 Weihrauch moderator($100). There is also a 3d printed moderator/air stripper insert($15) in the muzzle brake. Included is also the self centering BKL-360 MB 30mm one piece mount($50+). Overall in great condition with a smooth shot cycle and reputed accuracy.
