I have contacted the owner of Ares Tactical about the adapters. He is willing to make adapters for other GK1 owners that did not purchase from him. I told him there’s a few guys here that want one and he said to send him a list. The adapter will be CNC machined from aluminum and anodized in black. Price is $40.

I've seen all sorts of videos on YT. Seen a few trick shots. Quite a few groups. Near and far, some fair some not so good.
What I never see, no matter what the group, is a group in the bull!

Has anyone ever used two compressors at the same time to fill a tank? I have two yong Hengs that won't sell so I was thinking of making a station to run them together through a tee to fill tanks. See any problems?

I bought the gun new from Beeman in 1986 I believe it to be the Deluxe model with maple stock; it is .177 cal. SN 60224. I used it lightly for a few years then put it in the safe when we moved. When I resurrected it in 2018, the main seal had disintegrated which is typical. All else was good so I ordered a seal kit from airrifleheadquarters.com/, rebuilt the gun and all was well. After more research I bought the upgrade kit described below and installed it with great results. The gun shoots jsb 7.33 g pellets at 803 fps last I checked.

All aspects of the gun are EC. I have the original paperwork and manuals and I believe it to be collector quality. Includes Beeman padded soft case, original main spring, spare main seal & misc seals, Air Venturi spring compressor.

Does anyone know the exact dovetail spec for BM500X actions.? I have one coming & want to get a ring/ scope battle plan ready. Martin's office is closed till Sept so I can't get any info from him for abit. I'm all to familiar with one persons 11mm actually bieng 13mm or 3/8. Most 11mm are also 60 degree vs 45 of a 3/8" dovetail I don't like one size fits all anything on rail adaptors or rings so I go exact. I just feel better that way I can measure when it gets here but would like a jump on it. I'm mounting a 10-15x60 sightron on it. I have a Warne CZ true 11mm rail to 1913 I could use . I also have Talley 11mm rings but there to low I suspect. I swore I'd never go dovetail again but here I am..lol

. . . after a slow start to this year - the chuckie's have started "cooperating" with me a little more and I've actually managed to drop quite a few of them this year. #14 here went earlier today on my way home from work at one of my local dairy farm permissions. I didn't have a "chuckie" gun with me - wasn't specifically going after them - I tote this little pellet shooter with me quite frequently as it is very efficient and very accurate slinging 21g h&n pellets. Cruising the property though - this guy popped in the field that you can see in the background and he was *close*. I was like ". . . this close, I can take him out with a nice clean head shot . . . " Lights out. DRT. 500mm V3, 21.14g h&n pellets @935'ish with a little MTC Copperhead compact scope up top.

I've noticed that AOA is out of stock on many of their break barrel rifles, however they do have HW 95 Luxus in stock? What's up with that? I don't own one but they seem like great air rifles I'm just wondering why they are the only HW rifle available??

I've been wanting a quadrant target to add to my practice /sight in range. I missed the boat on the old Steel Plinkers, and I'm not ready to get a second mortgage for the Action Arms targets, so imagine my surprise when I saw a quadrant target for $35. The official name is the Do All Outdoors .22 Dialed Spinning Target. I saw that they have them in stock a Tractor Supply, and I happened to be by a Tractor Supply this morning, so I took a look.

Nope.

This target is designed to be shot at 50 to 100 yards with a 22LR. The plates are thick and heavy, which I would be ok with. The main issue (and reason I didn't buy it) is the center piece is huge. I didn't measure it, but it's at least 1 1/4" diameter. Might be good for some of you EFT guys, but for field target, not going to work.

They did have a regular 3 circle spinner for $12, I jumped all over that.

Went to my brother-in-laws farm for a shoot yesterday and it was very productive. Took my Tiapan 700 shooting slugs at 985 fps. The hybrid 22 grain slugs performed fantastic. It was my first time hunting with slugs. I am sold with how much better they work in the wind and how much more accurate at longer distance they are. I have always been a pellet shooter until today.. I shot 100 hybrids in one and a half day of hunting with only 15 misses. Closest shot was 50 yards and my furthest a 140 yard crow that I recovered. I simply can't believe how much easier shooting at longer range it is with a slug and how much more consistent my kills was over 100 yards..I love the Taipan...

I have a veteran standard in tactical chassis I’m looking to sell.

I literally purchased this chassis a month ago from talon tunes, and now they’re discontinued and nowhere to be found.

I bought it bc I’m horrible with bullpups, and had issues with accuracy past 50yds with the original stock. The chassis was a game changer in the stability department.

The vet I bought a few months ago used here from a reputable member. It’s in good condition barring some small blemishes that for the most part were hidden by the factory stock. It shoots stupid accurate (like all veterans), and likes everything I’ve fed it. It’s currently shooting hades 26gn at 930fps, and surprisingly quietly for factory shroud.

This RH walnut sporter style stock was on my .30 HM1000x until I replaced it with a custom target style stock. It's in excellent condition. It came from RAW with a 'blemish' per Martin, which can be seen if you look closely behind the cheek riser. The wood had a void that was filled and stained very well by his stock guy but it is visible if you're looking for it.

Just wondering if any body has attempted in utilizing a 700mm liner with the choked end cut off to 600mm and recrowned to shoot slugs. I have heard that slugs prefer non-choked barrels. I have been toying with the idea in my head to sacrifice a $100 liner and test it with a slightly larger diameter (.219?). Idk, just throwing ideas out there. I feel that the choke hinders the fps and requires a hotter tune for the required speed for slugs (in conjunction with more contact area between the slug and barrel, of course). I would love to know any of your thoughts on this. Does anyone think it’s viable to try? I know fx liners are not consistent diameter throughout the entire length. That’s why I suggested maybe a .219. Very curious about any opinions out there.

Hey everyone, sorry if you're tired of my threads here.

I'm going on 3 weeks with my .25 Maverick Compact and after troubleshooting regulator issues I finally have the gun "working" but I notice that when I tune it, the Pellets start to slow down again over 130 bar on the second reg.

I have the hammer spring set as heavy as it will go on power wheel #7. Any more hammer spring and the gun won't cock. I start with the reg at 100 bar and test every 5 bar as I raise to 150 bar.

25 grain pellets are maxing out around 915-920 fps
34 grain JSB MkII is maxing at 850 fps

Is this behavior normal?

Edit: Updated title, the problem was the pellet probe was blocking the transfer port and the wrong hammer weight was installed. Gun was janky as hell from factory.

1720t converted to accept .177 Mrod magazines, with the bottoms clearanced, much like the old skool method of converting a Prod to .177, prior to CARM and others making Prod mags in .177. The mag slot is sized for Mrod mag thickness, not Prod....it will include a few 12 shot magazines from an Umarex Origin, which fit perfectly.

It is regulated with a Huma reg and the longer plenum offered by huma, with a reg setting around 110 bar IIRC. The valve has a peek poppet with 2mm stem and a cobra chamber. Hammer is an all peek lightweight hammer. This yields a very crisp, muted shot cycle. Currently tuned for in the neighborhood of 35-40 shots of JSB 10.3gr at 750fps. It is very accurate at this tune and ammo, 5 shot groups at 50 yards are very easy to keep under 1.5-2", even as small as an inch if the shooter does their part. A slight increase in HST will put velocity in the 775fps range.

The Rapid 70 stock kit has been modified to accept AK47 style or AR15 style grips. The stock accepts an AK47 pistol grip nut, as pictured an adapter is used to accept AR15 grips. IIRC it has a Hogue rubber grip. A shotgun rubber recoil pad was used to improve the ergonomics as I found the Rapid 70 kit to be very challenging to shoot as-delivered. However these mods are fully reversible to OEM Rapid-70 form. The Rapid-70 pistol grip and buttplate will be shipped with the gun.

The shroud end cap was replaced with a 1/2-20 threaded adapter.

Note the magazine slot was cut using an end mill in a drill press with cross slide vise. It is not perfect, but it is not rough either. Raw aluminum was painted over with a sharpie to knock off the shiny. Magazines are fully retained and do not fall out when cocking.

Please note I am not a professional tuner nor is my valve/hammer a work of art. However they are fully functional. Valves are fairly inexpensive if you want to convert back to an OEM valve. I am including the OEM hammer/striker assembly. IMO, unless you are wanting to turn the 1720t into a powerhouse, I would recommend sticking with the gun in its current state, it works quite well as configured.

I have tried to be as transparent as possible with the details of this gun. I do not recommend this gun being purchased by anyone who is not experienced at assembling/disassembling their own guns and replacing o-rings, etc. The Rapid 70 bullpup kit requires a bit of skill to take apart and put back together.
