Crosman  Choking an cheap airgun barrel?

Just bought a .177 Crosman cheap springer. Accuracy is not to good. Didn't expect it to shoot like my HW97 but about 3"at 30 yards is a little much. Pushed several different brands of pellets, 4.50 to 4.53, thru barrel. All pellets kind of fall down barrel with very light to no resistance and no noticeable choke. Anyone successful found a way to choke an airgun barrel? Thanks, Don

Optics  SOLD 13340 Hawke Airmax 8x32x50, really low sell *

$200.00 Paypal

Sold Gun, * however, the scope always held "Zero" but it always seems to adjust more than expected. Such as if I wanted to move it 2" right, it would move it 4" right. Maybe it was me but it didn't seem right.

I bought the scope from a Forum Member about 2 years ago.
*I am selling it "AS IS", as I really don't know if it's me or the scope.

EDgun  Leshiy2 "dwell time" tuning?

First the Story:
For over a year I had the FX .22x600 liner mounted on the L2, 0.5+0.7 jets were performing about a MOA pretty consistently with MRD's @ 50 meter rings.
I can safely say the L2 have total exceeding 10K shots, earlier this year I had to replace some worn parts that were effecting the indexing mechanism.
Back in time I was playing more with jets (until I finished my learning curve) and I can recall that 2x0.7 jets @ 140 bars on REPR were the limit that feed the indexing mechanism well, if I increased the jet sizes the mechanism started suffocating.
I am planning to re-purpose the FX liners now to other guns, I have several other .22x500 and .25x500 barrels (clones of AP polygonal rifling in 1:17.7) that I would like to mount now to L2.
The goal is to make this L2 basement friendly for the incoming winter.

Now the Question:
What is a knowledge base about shortening the Dwell timing for a given caliber and barrel length?
What I am seeing the L2 blows too much dust on the floor with .22x500 and jets 0.5+0.7. I have no problem replacing jets but I have problem with degassing many times, because at the moment my YH would need some attention but next time in my hands.
Theoretically 2x0.8 or 2x0.9 jets? can still feed the indexing?
I don't speak Russian but can recognize some random words, I ran into some hacks on YT... what is it about?

Brocock/BRK  Issue with new BRK Ghost .25

Just got a new Ghost .25 in the mail today and boy was I excited. 200bar with reg set to 150 and wheel at 15. When working the lever I do not feel the action cocking and pulling the trigger does nothing. The lever does travel its full length. Called the shop purchased from and they suggested adjusting the "f" screw on the trigger, followed by the "a" screw. No luck. It was then suggested to drop the cassette and check for pin etc. however I cannot get it to drop. I tried pulling the trigger and using gravity, nails, small flathead and bumping on a soft surface. No luck.

It will be going back to the shop on Monday, however wanted to check the collective brain of the forum as I will have the weekend.

PCP Rifle  SOLD FX Crown MKII 25 cal.

Up for sale is an FX Crown MKII in 25 cal. It has the 600mm superior heavy liner and loves both the 34 grain MKI's and MKII's at 920. No leaks and is still at the same air pressure as when it got back from RMAC this year.

This rifle (Skeletor) has won EFT, Silhouette, 75, and 100 yard bench rest here in Arizona at local competitions. It got me in the Sportsman finals at EBR last year and also in the Sportsman finals at RMAC this year.

You get 4 FX side shot magazines, 1 aluminum old school magazine, and a Carm single shot loader. The hollow FX moderator keeps it pretty darn quiet also.

The Saber Tactical stock is very adjustable and is great off the bench and bucket/sticks.

Team Centercut stickers will be removed before shipping.

Scope, mounts and bi pod not included. No trades.

HW/Weihrauch  New to the group HW35 repair help

Hello all! I have owned a HW35 for about 25 years. I just found it was made in 1979 according to their website. I had not shot it in a long time and when I went to shoot it this weekend the breech seal was toast, easy replacement I think. I decided to take it apart to check the rest of it out. I was surprised at how much grease there was in it. How much grease should there be? Turns out my main spring is broke too! It has the leather seal that looks in good shape. Definitely not dry with all the grease on it. First time tearing it down. Don't have the history before me. I added the RWS 3 x9 x 40 scope and Beeman muzzle brake (as a handle) a long time ago.

I am ordering what I need from Airguns of Arizona and they offer a Napier VP90 & Walther grease. Thoughts? What else do I need to know?

Huben  Huben issue

Hi,
yesterday i got my Huben K1 out as just got my hands on some Altros slugs, i shot a few mags off the other day but the wind was good yesterday so thought i would do some accuracy testing the first shot i pulled the trigger and nothing then after a few seconds the K1 fired by itself, following that i carefully released 3 shots and all good and the 4th shot i got a massive blast of air to the face from the magazine area and the rifle was jammed up no movement from the mag, trigger was stuck too,
I have stripped the k1 down to the point of the main receiver is still intact as a bit unsure on if i need to go further and also there was a damaged slug stuck in the magazine which looked to me as if the mag had tried to cycle and the slug had moved its position in the mag and jammed everything up which i,m surprised at as these .254 Altros slugs fit tight in the mag, So far everything looks ok but can anyone help to point me in direction for what kind of issue i,m looking for and if it will be in the receiver housing ??

Barrels  SOLD FX 22 Liners and caliber change kit

700mm 22 caliber standard and heavy liners with carbon fiber liner covers (not glued) Fx 22 caliber change kit with fx impact 22 probe ( probe has never been used) or a Fx Maverick 22 probe. also has the Huma high power transferport.

Both liners are extremely accurate. 25 grain jsb monster redesign for the standard along with 18 grain jsb pellets are dead nuts. The 25 monster redesign out to 100. The heavy liner was amazing with 35 & 38 grain 217 Nsa longest shot was 300 yards on a 4 inch steel target with ease. Best group was less then a half inch at 110 yards with the 38 grain.

This kit can be used on any fx rifle as long as you have the 22 caliber Corresponding probe.

300.00 shipped Or best real offer no trades at this time. Not interested in breaking this up.

Umarex  Where to get Umarex O-ring

Hi all,
I have a Umarex Walther Reign and I noticed the o-ring on the pellet probe rod (see photo - I think that's what it's called), is missing. This explains why I'm getting a blast of air in my face when I fire the rifle. I'm not sure how it went missing, but it did. I located the part # (465.22.01.2) and called UmarexUSA to ask if I could order a replacement. They told me I would have to send the rifle in for them to repair it. This is pretty silly. It's a simple O-ring that measures 3.5mm x 1.2mm that I could replace in 5 seconds! So, now I'm stuck. Does anyone know where I can find this O-ring? Thank you!
Mike

.30 AAA PARADIGM PELLET

I’ve been pondering an AAA Evol Paradigm in 30 cal for a while. Was on AofA site last night and it said out of stock make another selection. So I emailed them to see what lead time is for one. Hoping it was maybe six months or so as I’m not ready at moment to commit.
About five to ten minutes later my phone rings. It’s Rich at AofA. He says he has one of that exact gun in stock. Despite my better judgement, it will be here next week. He threw in two tins of 44 grain JSB’s to start.
Did a search here but nothing popped up with my inquiry as to a pellet that works well for a lot of owners. I’ll probably email AAA with the question but thought I would start here. Primary use is pesting.
Slugs aren’t out of the question if there’s a good one for hunting.

Competition has shown up at the bird feeder

I had a recent run of young squirrels show up this fall, but I haven’t seen any in three days. The hawk was looking down in the swale between my yard and the neighbors. I get a decent amount of mice and rats. They like my other neighbors dog kennel and old sheds filled with junk.

Just punching paper now, he’s got this.

3 mills and a seat of mastercam…

just thinking out loud here…. The economy sucks right now, hours have been low for almost a year now. Im pretty good at what i do, tool and die. Theres got to be a few of you out there with good ideas to get these spindles turning again. Low hours means too much time playing with my impact, and that gets me thinking about what i should be making instead of buying. Anyone else with an impact and good ideas, please, by all means, feel free to brainstorm with me!
