PCP Rifle  NLA Theoben Rapid MKII .25 and .22

Hey guys I am wanting to get another rifle and looking at moving a rifle down to another person.

I got this rifle from another member here a few years ago. The previous owner had Allen Z go through the rifle and do his typical work to the rifle. Wanting to make sure the rifle was in good working conditions I got in contact with Martin and sent the rifle down to him. Once there he added a "v" block and looked over the rifle and lubricated and made sure everything was up to snuff. The rifle now is sporting a carbon bottle along with one of Martin's carbon lined barrels. Also have added a pic rail to the front of the stock for bipod use

The rifle came with a 25 caliber barrel and one magazine. Being as I had a ton of 22 pellets I made a custom adapter to fit an FX liner in the rifle. I now have an Fx 380mm barrel system on the rifle. The appropriate probes come with each caliber to allow the ability to change calibers when you want.

Included in sale....

Theoben MKII rifle in .25 caliber
One 25 caliber magazine
FX 22 caliber 380mm barrel system
RAW 22 caliber probe

Would like to see $1700 for the rifle, and can discus shipping. Would like to go through PayPal to keep things easy, but open to other options as well. Message me and I will get you pictures of the rifle, as well as answer any questions you may have.

I am working on getting funds to help get an AAA Evol mini for my son to use for hunting. Really the only trade that I would be interested in, of course with money on my end.

The right glass is increasing my joy factor

Since getting into PCP’s and then Field Target I’ve struggled to find the right gun and optic combo. It certainly didn’t have anything to do with me scrimping $$$ on the equipment 🤪 as I really gave the best of the best a try.
Lo and behold I discovered the Sightron S-Tac lineup. Suddenly getting a good eyebox with an easy to understand reticle was easy; and making an huge difference in my joy factor.
Then I had a thought - what would happen if I got out Some of my first guns, guns that I’d pushed to the back of my gun locker and were gathering dust. What if I RE-scoped them with my new scope choice and gave them another chance?
Wow… what I thought were guns that were so so, or marginal shooters, turned out to be great guns that were being limited by my choice of optics.
A good eyebox, a clear image with a reticle that makes sense, does in fact make a huge difference on any good airgun.
I went through a lot of glass in two years time looking for the right one ☝️ and finally found the one that works for me…
Warning- results may vary with different brains 🧠

The journey of starting my Youtube channel

Woke up this morning and checked my Youtube channel and realized today was my 5th year since I started. Crazy how time flies and how many videos I have posted since.

I started this channel mainly to let my family members oversea to watch and see me on screen. Second reason was a place to keep my content online so that my kids could look me up when they misses me after I am done. Yeah, life is short so live it up!

I learned a lot about air guns shooting and I am very fortunate to have a few permissions through word of mouth. Getting the first permission was lucky because I met a friend who rented and lived on a farm land. I got to shoot pellets using a cheap Chinese made break barrel. That was how it started. I started watching Si Pittaway's channel from UK and I was hooked with his ability to shoot his Weihrach 97, .177. So I bought my first HW97 in .22 then a .177 laminated stock. I was terrible at first but I learned and got better each day.

Then there was this "rabbit hole" as people called it in this AGN forum which I found soon after trolling online looking for airgun contents. I bought my first PCP, HW100T in .22 calibre. Wow, how soon I had forgotten about my break barrel guns. This gun was so easy to shoot and I was able to stretch my distance from 25 yards back to 75 yards in a very short time. I went thru a lot of pellets, trying to find the best ones. I ended up with the AA 16 and 18gr. Pest birds and rabbits were dropping regularly when I was out there shooting them. That was back in 2018.

Jan 28, 2019 I decided to start my Youtube channel and I came up with the name, Air Rifle Pestings. I didn't know what I was doing in terms of creating contents and editing. I just pressed record and talked gibberish. Ya, my old videos were quite bad, lol. But they were my memories and I was proud of them.

I remembered feeling happy with the first 10 subscribers being my friends and family members. Then the channel slowly gained traction and I eventually hit 100 subs. Wow, I have made some friends online, lol.

Which reminds me, I want to do a shoutout to these two forum members: shambozzie and slowpoke airgunner
I remembered shambozzie because he replied me in my first post here and he showed me his awesome backyard shooting range.
Slowpoke Airgunner did a shout out for me in his Youtube channel, which helped jumped start my channel.

I can't remember when I reached 1000 subscribers but I was both surprised and happy I have reached that far. I was qualified to began to earn peanuts lol.

As I gotten deeper into this rabbit hole, my collection of airguns increased. Since my HW100T, I got an Air Arm S510 in .177, FX Crown, Daystate Regal XL, FX Impact MK2. Lots of starlings, doves, crows have fallen under these PCP, especially with the Impact. 6 coyotes have been dispatched with the Impact as well. Lots of videos have been created and shared online with a few people. Thank you for those who follow me.

Hopefully I will continue to test new products and create better contents for those who care to watch.

Thank you Michael for this forum platform where I can reach out to members for help and advise, and of course to share my video contents.

Cheers.

New here. Question about pellet rifle scopes

Hey fellas,

First time posting here. I just bought a gamo wildcat whisper. It came with a cheap fixed power scope which I got zeroed (for now) at 20 yards. Plan on doing some rodent removal. From what I’ve read these scopes don’t last or hold zero for long. The gamo rifle has that hole in the top dovetail area that holds the scope in place.

I bought some H&N Hornet pellets in .22 and zeroed to those.

The clarity on this scope is poor (even after adjusting the eyepiece). Are there any reasonably priced aftermarket scopes that work well on these break action pellet rifles? Thanks

PCP Rifle  SOLD FX Dreamline Mini -Dreampup .177 Caliber

This started out as a standard Dreamline Dreampup. I wanted something much smaller – less than 24 inches that would still pack a power punch. I replaced the original barrel/shroud with a 300mm Superior barrel/shroud and replaced the larger tank with a .3L tanks. The rest of the gun is as received, new. The 3-9 UTG scope is also included. Check out the pictures – it’s a pretty slick set up. $1100.00 which includes insured shipping. PayPal friends and family is preferred but I’ll also accept a money order or a check with a hold for clearance

Beeman  One sick little puppy

So I've been tinkering on this for a bit. I sorted the bugs out of the 2028 pistol and had a parts 1358 underlever sitting here. I worked some magic, and got the trigger groups to fit, cut down the scope mount/trigger housing as short as I could get it, and made a stock out of some 1/4" paneling stacked up and Fiberglass resin coated.

Obviously not finished, but it's gotta be the shortest bullpup out there. 21.5" OAL and it is semi shrouded with a baffle. Makes a slight knock sound when fired. 20 shots at 18 fpe, or 30 shots at 13.5 fpe. Dead on balls at 35 yards courtesy of the Kral np01 barrel I installed since the beeman barrel couldn't hit a 4 foot target at 20 yards.

1000005679.jpg

Waiting on a set of 3 picatinny rails to go on the sides of the riser, and the top for the scope. Also have a BSA sweet 22 2-7x32 coming for it. The truglo 4x20 is junk lol.

N/A  Getting fed up

Well, I have been into pcp for a little over a year now and my second compressor is going on the frits. I have way too many PCPs I think so I'm going to thin the heard and just have 3. I have always had springers, piston or gas rams.
I am wanting to get one for a dedicated hunting gun in 22. I have asked this before but best bang for the buck? What about a 95/r9, Diana 350, or a good gas ram? I sold my lefty tx200 and all I have is a 54 in 177 setup for FT and an old Remington npss in 22. Slings are nice and weight about 10lbs with scope. Sorry if I keep asking but this pcp game is getting to be a pain in the arse!

- Beeman R8 .177 1983 San Rafael
- Beeman R9 .20 2017

PCP Rifle  NLA Huben K1 .25 2022

Want to trade my 2022 huben k1 in .25 I've had it for about 2 months now. I love shooting it, but I can't fill it to it's full potential, and not being able to take out the magazine are kind of a let down for me. It like the apolos 33gr and 40gr slugs, it loves the NSA slugs in .254 both 33.6gr and 38.5gr. It's currently set to 160b shooting 38.5gr at 936fps. Would trade for .22 or .25 Vulcan 3. Scope and mod not included in trade

Would also sell for $1800 shipped with scope and mod included.

$1400 shipped without scope and mod.

HW/Weihrauch  HW55 versus HW98

I do have a recent copy of the HW98, but missed out on buying a HW55 when Beeman sold them. How do they compare in accuracy? Granted, a lot of the HW55 sport diopter rear sights, and most HW98 rifles wear scopes. But they are both break barrel rifles. An FWB 300S is in my must-have program. I did have an Anschultz 380, but sold it for a reason I have forgotten. Buy a Diana Air King 54? Anyhow, HW 55 or HW98?

ᗝ BC Test of .25cal Polymag

BC Test of .25cal Polymag

Well, I'm finally getting serious in measuring and documenting BC numbers — especially for projectiles where few BC numbers are out there.

But first:
Why is the BC of the Polymag so important?

● We shoot hollow points (HP) because we want them to expand.
But HP do not expand if their impact velocity (IV) is too slow.
I have a lot more testing to do, but usually above 750fps IV many HP expand well in animal flesh and 10% ballistic gel.
➠ If a HP has a low BC, it will loose velocity rapidly and reach its non-expansion threshhold very close to the muzzle — reducing the HP pellet to a short range projectile. 😞

PREVIOUS BC TESTS

ᗝ BC (GA) 0.026 — with the eye watering muzzle velocity of 1372fps down to 740fps @90y (though only 1 shot, Labradar)

ᗝ BC (GA) 0.029 — MV 913fps to 30y (10 shot average, Labradar)

MY TEST

ᗝ Projectile: .25cal JSB Polymag
26.00gr

🔫 Gun: RTI Prophet 2 Compact Performance
▪Barrel: RPB, 1:20" twist, very lightly choked, 510mm (=20")
▪REG 130bar

𖣠 Range to Target: 50m (55y)

🌦️ Atmospheric conditions: Outdoors, light swirling winds, 1002mB local, 30⁰C, 65% Hum.

Chrono: Caldwell with lights. 1 chrono only, with consecutive velocity measurements.

Ballistic Calculator: GPC Ballistics:

➧ V @0m = ∅ 955fps (52.6FPE)
10 shots: 962, 959, 959, 953, 959, 950, 950, 953, 954, 952, 951.

➧➧ V @50m = ∅ 709fps (29.0FPE)
7 shots: 703, 710, 714, 708, 712, 710, 706.

➧➧➧ 🔴 RESULT:

BC (GA) = 0.0239 ≈ 0.024

Comments:
This is disappointingly low for a 26 grainer, also considering the test results of others.
Even if — through an error — my actual V @50m would have been 15fps faster (724fps), the BC still would only have been 0.026.

FX  Need help with m3 issue.

So I recently bought my father an impact m3 .30 cal. While he was preparing to smoke a squirrel he got excited and fired the gun with the bolt open. A p.o.i shift did happen. Not sure yet how much of a shift yet.(weather) hoping to find out tomorrow. But before I start firing this thing I gotta ask.
My question is what happened to the gun during this event? What do I need to inspect to insure the gun is still safe for use?
He thinks the cocking lever slammed shut on it. He seems confused about what all happend.

Thanks for ur input.

Hache moderator by Mechainnova

I am sharing with yours my last TequilaGUN accessory, it is a unique LDC named ”HACHE MODERATOR”, the particularity that do it unique new product is that the LDC has a ”H-SOFT” baffle that it is closed once the pellet pass through it. This condition decrease a lot of the sound intensity.
To reach it, the baffle is bending when the high pressure air fill the first segment of the LDC and reach the baffle face. As soon as the internal pressure decrease the “H-SOFT” baffle recover it shape. The following drawings and videos shows how it works.

There is a lot information and theories in the web about how reach this goal, but a few designers can say that them got it.

This LDC was designed to be used only with Airguns, for this reason the body is 3D printed using PLA+CF fillament, the “H-SOFT“ baffle is made from silicone and reinforced with GF mesh. If this LDC would be used on a firearm it blow out or turn fire on due to the high pressure and temperature gases.

The mechanical specs are the following:
Length: 4 inches
Diameter: 1 1/2 inche
Weight : 3.83 oz
Caliber: 0.177 and 0.22
Thread: 1/2-20

FWB  Day out with the FWB Sport

Had a little free time today and decided to have some fun with my newer model Sport with a 4-12x50 Airmax. This gun has a pretty tame 11.8fpe FT tune. After reading some stuff somewhere else I think I'm going to re-tune this gun again and go with a short stroke setup. We'll see how that goes. Should be some fun experimenting though.

Ok so onto how she did. Range was 50yds with a slight breeze and but I had a small piece of orange tape down range to judge wind by a little. Groups 1 and 2 were guesses at holdover and I had the right idea by #3. Best group of the day was 0.36" while the worst groups were both 1.09". Average for the day was 0.76" for just under 1.5 MOA. I can live with that.

Alkin W31 Motor Problem need Help.

Guys i need your help i own an Alkin W31 4.9cfm compressor. Recently the electric motor blew up and i purchased a new one from Alkin. The oem motor was a 3kw 60hz motor and the one they sent me is a 2.2kw 50hz motor i called them and they told me that this motor will work the same as the 3kw motor and honestly i doubt that since this is a weaker motor and on top of that the motor they sent me is from 2021 its not even new. What can i do about this?
