So it was like 930 pm just not and wife took out daisy and whiskers to go to bathroom and a coyote ran up on them , I heard dogs bark and her yell , they came in and I grabbed thermal and saw 2 yotes litterly 20 feet from where puppies were , I yelled and threw a blaa at one they took off , However wife said one charged to get daisy the girl puppy , this is war , Latley we been being woken up by yotes in packs howling threw nites , I did not bother them but when they cross line to attack wife or dogs they crossed line , I snalled a few pics look here , tomarrow I mount thermal and will be ready if they want to battle ,

I am just coming back to airguns after being away for about 15 years, and I see that PCPs are evolved. Right before I left, I think FX Independence was all the rage. So where are we on pumpers? Anything FX-level quality? You think we'd have a 4-stage underbarrel pumps on some of those guns by now.

I am so happy to post this. I concieved of this when I saw the Edgun Lelya 2 and could literally feel myself holding it by just looking at pictures. Lelya 2 is the most beautiful of all the guns, imho.

I researched and researched til I landed on the Jet 1 in .25 as a simple enough donor gun, because God knows I'm not shelling out 1800 for a new Lelya. Ever. Bought 1 Jet, loved it, and bought a second instantly via Midway's sale on them in January for only 130 bucks new. Worth it.

The Jet stripped down lacks length so its not a full proper Leyla, thus I'm calling it the Lilya. Eat your hearts out. I f-ing love this thing more than most of you love your children, even without being able to shoot it yet. About that, he trigger relay rod will be utterly simple to install. Its all simple. I just couldn't wait anymore and grabbed a piece of junk wood and a chisel and went at it. Some cuts were initially made with a saw but I put maybe 8 hours of chisel carving into this. I'm not pro at that so it was learning. Started last night, woke up and finished today.

Holding it is a dream. I mean, I cut it to really fit my hand perfectly and it has lots of sanding yet, but the feel is precisely how I imagined. I will be finishing it and adding pics to this thread. Its far from complete but the Lilya has been born. Happy bday Lilya.

Prolly adding a butt extension, which will coincide with a rear install of a linear servo (tiny piston rod) that will cock then load the gun as a semi-auto. Battery powered semi auto, not blowback based. Yay, full power shots.

Had some time to go to that range, so i brought out my RAW and Epoch in .22 to test out AEA pellets at 50 yards
The epoch was set to shoot @ 885 fps and the RAW was set @ 930 fps using AEA 25.3g
Pellets are straight from the tin, no sorting.
I am not a professional, just an enthusiast with delussions of grandeur
On the Epoch, i have a 35" barrel. The RAW has a 24" cut-rifle barrel from Martin Rutterford( a custom order)
The Epoch was shot using a bipod and rear adjustable rest. The RAW used shooting bags.
Martin did the tune for the RAW, and i am fiddling with the Epoch(hits and misses-lots of misses- on the tune, and still working on it) A digital pressure gauge for the HP is highly recommended to dial in your tune.
It was close, but the Epoch won out this round. Slight advantage with the bench stability going to the Epoch
The triggers on these rifles are just ridiculously light...such a wonderful feeling when it starts to come together. I still have more work to do, but this was fun

Five shots at 50 yards, Daystate Renegade .177 JSB’s 10.34 grain (No wind). Aiming at the upper tip of the cross.

PP700 in 20cal I had Brian Thurman build me from veradium air. Regulated gets about 12 good shoots per fill. Very accurate with 13.73s. It is EFT legal. 275 plus split shipping.

I was recently (very generously) gifted a bunch of targets, mostly steel. I got em all laid out to spray paint this morning and then the wind came up, a lot! So the painting is on hold but I'm super excited to get them spread out in the back pasture

From those that have shot at this type before.....is there a certain fpe I need to stay over to prevent pellets from coming back at me and my boys? Or are these healing targets strictly rimfire?

I've never owned or used a scope over a few hundred bucks. I've bought a few of the cheapo CVlife FFPs on amazon recently with no obvious problems. What's the deal?

I was wondering if it is a problem if a airgun is send to Europe?
There are some nice second hand airguns that have my interrest and i was wondering if someone did send these to Europe.
In my case I live in Holland and we have no restrictions regarding airguns, so no caliber or power restrictions.

I did send some vintage airguns to the USA mostly HW55's and they did arrive fine.

my interrest goes to RAW, War type air rifles, they are nog common in Europe or the second hand marked is not large.

Hope someone has some advice.

After conducting a brief AGN search, I found that these rifles are mostly mentioned in the "Traditional Airguns" forum (though I'm not sure they're posting about the same guns as seen here Crosman Mendoza Springer Video ). I stumbled across a hunting video on YouTube of a hunter using a Mendoza .22 PCP to hunt what appears to have been javelina. Interesting looking rifles. Seems like the company has been around for a while. I don’t know where these rifles are made, but I suspect they're made in China, which is like many airguns on today's market. Anyhow, who is shooting a Mendoza PCP? Where did you buy it? Are there any Mexican or Central American AGN members using these rifles? I was specifically wondering if @Betohunter or @Emu are familiar with this company or these guns. If so, let us know about your experience with them. I wonder if this company ships to the United States. I also want to know how to convert their prices to USD. I assume these prices are in Mexican pesos.

Just talked to the local dive shop here in Michigan. He had two omega scba 45 min tanks that had been dropped off for hydro. He said that he found out no one in the state of Michigan can test them. For some reason they can’t be hydro tested. He said they had to be rolled and ultrasonic tested. I’m not positive but I believe he referred to them as ISO cylinders. He thought maybe it would be the case with all the China cylinders. Has anyone heard this before??

Filled the gun to 240 BAR, PW on minimum, regulator at 100 BAR sending CPHPs. Lots of plinking along with some targets over two days. Over 100 shots. Am three shots into the tenth magazine loaded… Just sent two this morning to confirm POI at 25 yards, then a piece of chalk the size of a chipmunks head at 64 yards…! Now off to work…

I own the Black Ops Sportsman 900. Everyone has been a big help. There is a lot to learn. Next rifle I want is confusing. Do I get a brake barrel or invest in SPS. Then the caliber. 22 and 24 grain .177 / 4.5 mm slugs.

I just wonder what barrels they shoot well in, cuz the way i see it PPL have problem getting 20 grainers to fly well.

But maybe it is a sign of things to come, i for sure would love to be able to hurl those some times.

Just finished upgrading my m3 impact compact to a 700mm heavy barrel. Looking on some advice on what slugs people are having luck with in .25 Cal. Wanting something around the 38-40 grain mark.

The AoA Windicator performs very, very well.

I am currently using the Windicator to customize Mr. Niksch's Wind Rose used for pellet drift at 25 meters, which is the distance I shoot with my < 12FPE Piatt-Thomas BR!

Mike's Rose indicates the POI for a given wind direction on a 5 ring bull. I am using a smaller custom 6 ring bull. As such I will change Mike's bull to six rings, update the POI and add POA based on actual results using the Windicator.
