Disposable Battery Deals - AA CR2032 AAA CR123A

Many of us use 2032 coin cells in scopes and other disposable batteries that cost way too much.
I want to share the place I've been getting deals on batteries for years called Battery Hookup.
These disposable batteries come from new merchandise that didn't get sold for whatever reason and are brand new.
These batteries will be Duracell alkaline or Duracell lithium for the 2032 cells 99.9% of the time and come with a free tester.
You have to pay shipping so the more you buy the lower the total cost per cell.
I have purchased all of these and have been completely happy with them. I also buy lots of rechargable cells from them as well such as 18650 and Li-Po.
I have no affiliation with this company and make nothing from this.

Use Promo Code DIY for 5% off before shipping.

50 Duracell lithium 2032 cells with free tester for $6

200 AAA cells with free tester for $10

200 AA cells with free tester for $10

10 CR123A cells for $4

GX CS4 - how big is the hole for the rubber gasket in the grease pot?

I've got about 40 hours or so on my CS-4, but recently I noticed it's sounding a little different. I checked the grease pot and after cleaning it out I can't really see a hole in the rubber gasket. There's a slight indent in the center when the hole should be. Is this hole supposed to be visible to the naked eye, or is it a tiny little pin hole that closes up unless it's under pressure.

Sheridan  Let’s see those Pumpers!

Back in the early 1980’s I did a custom finish on a bed for a man that owned a gun shop. He paid me off with a brand new Sheridan “Blue Streak.” I hadn’t had a pellet rifle since I was a boy back in the early/mid 1960’s. I was immediately hooked. A few years later I moved into the Beeman R1. I mean, who didn’t? Now some 40 years later I have moved backwards. Springers are wonderful and I have more than a few. Just found myself not shooting as much as I once did. Then I picked up a 2008 Crosman 392PA 22 caliber with a custom stock. Oh boy, I‘m back. I’m enjoying the simplicity, light weight, smooooth firing and dead nuts accuracy I once did decades ago. The 392PA opened the door to a 2003 Crosman S-C9A 20 caliber and 1991 Benjamin S-397P 177 caliber. And the Benjamin S-397P is a mate to the Benjamin S-H9 177 caliber pistol I bought new back in the early 1990’s. So now with a pumper in all 3 calibers, I have no need for another. Denial is a wonderful tool! Top to bottom - S-397P, S-C9A, 392PA, S-H9 pistol. The S-H9 pistol is number 3674 made. The serial numbers started at 100001. In 1991.
Let’s see yours.

Chinese Chronograph

I just purchased one of these cheap chinese chronographs. It did not come with any instructions. Do any forum members have a set of instructions for these they could copy and post or PM me with? Some say the instructions that come with these are not very good. Maybe someone has worked out a better operating instruction list they could post.

Found Slug Press for Vulcan 3 in .3063 caliber

I really wanted to buy the www.presslug.com but at this point they don't make custom sized dies. The Corbin I've just read too much about not always consistent and for as long as they've been around you'd think it would be better.
"FT Airguns
Juan Pablo presslug have better quality, tight fit and the dies holder center to center perfect. The finishing on the dies is awesome.
Corbin is more basic, no micro adjustment and the die don't set straight in the thread. The puncher holder also is not auto centered, you must do a manual alignment"

So I ordered the Thor Slug Press https://thormoldsinc.com/?m=home&c=Lists&a=index&tid=45 and at $950 including the custom sized die in .3063 that's like half of what Corbin or Presslug cost.

I'll Post the results when I get the press and get some shooting in.

N/A  Seal failure after approximately 550 shots

Well, this one gave up the ghost!
It actually held up about as long as expected

Leather seal on the left from a Girandoni rifle after going through over 5 boxes of round balls.

Valve stem and seal are from a spare valve.

As it started to fail, it was a learning curve on the guns power. When it was in great condition, the gun was not very powerful... it was in the mid to low 400fps range. But as it got worse, the stem was higher in the valve face. Resulting in velocities near 600fps. Huge difference with very little length change. So it was either that or the dying seal was letting more air out around it.

Regardless, a better seal will make the gun a decent rifle.

ZAN Fatboy Pellets in 25 and 30 cal

Hi,
Found some info for these on the ZAN FB page. Utahairguns has them listed for sale, but they aren't available yet. 29gr in 25cal and 47gr in 30cal.

My first rats with the Zulus 5x-20x

This was my first night outing with the Zulus bagged three, recovered the two. My setup was less than idea and will have to be refined. 8-9 yard shots into small crevasses the rats have created in the slab. Going forward am simply killing them without recording and will document the kills afterwards or not.🤓

Anyone knows how to reach out to AEA directly?

Hi guys! Anyone dealt before with AEA directly? I need to order AEA Challenger top Picatinny rail. I've reached out to Pellet Shop and Utah Airguns and Pellet Shop guys are still trying to find it and Utah folks told me that they don't have it and advised to ask AEA directly but did not provide any contact info for AEA. AEA official site is defunct and their phone is disconnected. Anyone has any idea how to get in touch with AEA directly? Thank you AGN!
