Newbie question, storing loaded?

Without re hashing the safety aspect, mechanically are there issues if I load, cock, and then don’t shoot my Notos? Right now I primarily using it to shoot sparrows from my martin housing. I’ve had a couple minor issues with the stock magazine so I am just loading one at a time. Sometimes I load one to shoot and the target takes off before I get a shot. If I leave the gun as is for a couple hours, over night, etc. is here a point where it can do some damage to the gun itself?

Traditional Rifle  SOLD HW77K .22 Green Lam H&N 14.33 FTT 5.53mm tune 17ft/lbs

Ok,
I’m selling this for only 2 reasons.
1. As a lefty and for fit, finish, balance and overall quality it’s excellent. John Thomas Vortex install and screw cups, black anodized small shop made cocking lever. But, I would enjoy it more if at 12-14ft/lbs and super smooth.

2. Because paypal told me to send a Webley airgun back to who signed, & paypal closed case with no word though I told them I want it or my money back. I’m out $980 with insurance and tracking back.

So $980 obo gets all you see, including the sights in a safe (I’ll add photos when I go downstairs), boxed & case, scope, mount, 4 sealed 500cnt, 1 open 1/4-1/2 tin included retaped, shipped priority next day USPO, insured anywhere in the CONUS USA. If further you cover 1/2.

It’s a good shooter. PM me.

Taipan  Decisions, decisions....

I've been away from shooting for over a year and coming back; and so what's the logical thing to do in this situation? Buy a new air rife, that's what! Right now I own two .25 FX Impacts and a .25 Kalibrgun Cricket. Thinking I'll sell one of the Impacts

The Taipan II Tactical has caught my eye, along with the Kalibrgun Tactical. In the past, the Cricket was that gun, that I went to to just shoot. You could pull that thing out of the closet after it sitting and it would still be zero'd on the first shot so that's why I'm looking more to the Czech guns. They're simple, well designed, incredibly accurate and just plain work! Very little tuning involved. I have two notebooks on Impact tuning compared to less than half a notebook for the Cricket.

This isn't an Impact slamming post; I really do like them, it's just that the Impact is so adjustable it can get overwhelming at times. My MKII, (finally),shoots slugs like a laser. Fantastic guns.

Does anyone have an opinion on either of the above mentioned guns? I'm watching videos and looking for reviews. I did notice on the Kalibrgun Tactical, the cocking lever looked a somewhat stiff, whereas with the Taipan, it appears to be butter smooth. Otherwise?

Thanks for any input that any of you might have. Add links to reviews and vids if you care to...and thanks.

Traditional Rifle  SOLD Pair of BSF S54 Air Rifles - $600 Shipped

For sale are two BSF S54 underlevers. Both are in good used shape with some finish loss, minor rust freckling in a few spots, and some scratches/dents in the stocks. They function and shoot as intended. One is missing the front sight assembly, but the other is complete minus the hood. No other substantial issues aside from the cosmetic ones mentioned.

Selling as a pair so one can be cannibalized in case that's what the buyer wishes to do, as replacement parts for these rare guns are hard to obtain. Asking $600 including shipping.

Attention Europeans - If you refuse an order from this "merchant": Area419 you lose your money!

I ordered the "Improved Bipod Picatinny Rail (IBR) – Traditional (419-IBR-BK)" for my Taipan Veteran Long 25 cal. Due to the high fees of the courier to represent me to Customs and the customs fee, I had to pay more than $100 over the cost of the rail and I refused the shipment. The shipment returned to them, but due to a delay in this process, the card I used to pay with them expired. The bank renewed my card (my bank account is the same!). When the shipment is returned, they take 20% of the amount you paid...and now they refuse to return the rest. Can they just send me a check - not valid in the European Union or give me credit in their store which is pointless. I asked the bank and the situation is not as they say from Area419! There are other ways to get my money back, but they won't! To me this is a scam to get my money for nothing from them! Beware of such "merchants"!

FX  FX impact regulator in Panthera

Will the Fx impact regulator fit in the Panthera? I installed the extra high pressure Huma regulator and the recharge is very fast. The issue is the regulator drops in pressure over a period of time after shots and can’t hold the set pressure. For example I set the reg to 155bar and after a couple magazines it is at 152 bar with 170bar left on the fill. The stock regulator re charge was extremely slow but eventually got to set pressure. The stock regulator eventually creeped about eight bars higher then held that pressure. My idea was to get the impact high pressure regulator vs extra high so it had a bit softer springs to help the regulator recharge to my set pressure.

FX  Help tighten up SD/ES with Slugs

Somewhat struggling getting the SD/ES to tighten up. Info below. My pellet M3 is in the single digits but this one is hovering a bit.

Impact M3 .25 700MM
Slug Liner/Tungsten Hammer
Reg 1: 190
Reg 2: 155
Macro: 15
Micro: 4

Max speed is about 1035 fps or so. I know people say to be 3-5% lower than max. I could cut a touch more speed to get it in the 980’s?

Airgun Technologies  New Urgan2 30 cal

Hey folks,
I'm a couple weeks late posting this. But I wanted to give a shout out to Derek at tenacious air guns I purchased from him and he worked his magic tuning it to approximately 105 foot pounds of energy. It has an awesome trigger and the first air rifle I've ever owned that has a little bit of recoil LOL. I have it cited in at 30 and 50 yards. 75 yards and 100 yd. First air rifle I've owned that I'm putting slugs in the bullseye at 100 yards. I still have some work to do as far as my shooting abilities with it but I'm getting very close. This gun is amazing. I put a discovery Ed lht generation 2 3 x 15 x 50 ffp on it and it seems to work well.
It is my first ffp scope and I'm learning. As I said earlier I have it site in 30 to 50 yards, at.50 on my reticle. 75 yards at 1.5 and 100 yards at 3.75ish.actually hit a golf ball last shot of day at 100yards.
The scope has zero stop and I really do not know anything about how to use it. I've always used my reticle in the past and adjusted accordingly but this time I decided to dial a note my spots. Any advice on how to use the zero stop would be appreciated. I will post photos of my first set of targets at 1500 yards and the private club I belong to and the range. Did I say I really love this rifle.
Gary
P.S. more photos coming with better groups

N/A  First air rifle choice

Looking for some experienced input on a first air rifle choice. Use case is quiet as possible backyard plink/pest control up to ground hogs ~50yd range. Leaning toward .22. Looking at used over new but all suggestions are welcome. Leaning toward bullpup for overall compactness while retaining barrel length. I don't mind tinkering and tuning but I want something that is durable and accurate that I overall won't have to worry about.

FX Crown MK1 with scope ~$1k
FX Wildcat MK3 ~$900
Taipan Veteran Long ~$1k
Kalibr Cricket 2 ~$1.2k

What would you choose?

Diana  It just followed me home i swear,

Is what i told my lovely bride. But i think i've used that line one to many times. A small town about 20 miles from my place had their community garage sales this weekend and wouldn't you know it. The fella had some older tins of cphp out on a table and i ask him what he used to launch them. He brought out a to1 34 in imaculate condition, says he bought it new and maybe ran a half tin through it. Cheapo barska air rifle scope. He lost the sights to it but it does have a baby pickle on the barrel. I do feel a little guilty at what price he asked for it, and he threw the pellets in. Needless to say, it came home. The last thing i was expecting to find today and now i owe the wife supper tonight just because she said so.

Compressors  SOLD Battery Powered Compressor New in Box

Want one of these? They work awesome. I have two so this one goes. I love these battery compressors. No need for tanks to fill your gun. Tanks not so good anyway if your filling 4000PSI as many guns now do. Easy portability. Battery lasts through many top offs. Use your Makita 18V batteries if you want. You can use other 18V batteries if you buy a 10 dollar adapter. You can even buy a plug-in power supply if you prefer that at home. Asking 260.00 shipped to CONUS PP/FF preferred. N/A  pellet ballistic coefficients.

Was wondering if there is database for say 177 and 22 calibers of ballistic coefficients. If so, please point me in the right direction. If not, would this be a worthwhile undertaking for this forum. At least to select these 2 calibers to start out. I am talking about pellets like Crossman Premiers, H&N, JSB and RWS that most serious shooters use. Just a thought. Thanks in advance for all replies.
