It was actually the first one that I sold on eBay. The customer "bought it now". I used his eBay address to ship it to him. He paid with PayPal.

About 10 days later the package came back (apparently unopened) no such number, no such address. So I looked it up. It was an empty lot down in Florida.

I sent a couple of emails by eBay to the customer. I sent one and after a few days, with no response, I sent another. After a few days, again no response, I refunded his money, all of it even the PayPal fees. Then I canceled the sale. It's been a week I still haven't heard from him.

NOTE: Since I started this thread I have managed to find a page which actually had his phone number on it, I did not know that was even possible on Ebay. So I called him and talked with him. That conversation is partly recounted further down the thread.

I have a friend that lives out in the country. She has a small plot, but has many rodents and pests around her. I showed her my PCP guns when she came over and asked if I could find her one. The problem is that she is retired, but still works cleaning homes and house sitting to supplement her income, so I am looking for a $500 or less gun (new or used) that I can get for her. I have a springer that I was going to give her, but she can't cock it. I have a scope and rings that I will give her so I can try and get something that has decent accuracy and shot count. I told her that she can bring it into town with her and I will use my compressor to fill it up as needed (there is no way she could pump a tank up manually). I was thinking the caliber should be .22 or .25 to keep her shot count up and the pellet cost down - clearly .22 would be better but she wants to get ride or armadillos and other larger pests. I have an extra bipod and tripod I will give her to use to see which she likes better (and will probably give that to her also). A regulated gun would be nice to help her get a consistent shot each time. I let her handle my guns to give her a feel for them and I found that the lighter the better for her. I will set the gun up and sight it in and get her the pellets/slugs and do the normal maintenance and cleaning for her. I'll let her start without a moderator and let her tell me if the sound is scaring her pests off before she can shoot them. I just want to give her something she can use to pest and not worry about anything else - unlike me! Here are some of the guns I was looking at:

This is the latest version of the semi/full-auto SK-19 in .22 caliber. I paid AoA over $200 to cut the barrel and shroud down to be flush with the bottle. They trimmed the breech side, rethreaded it, and turned a proper lead-in. It's just as accurate (if not more so than before) and way more nimble and fun to handle.




Retails for $2000, looks like AoA is selling used ones for $1700, I know it's a buyers market right now, so let's go for $1400 shipped UPS to CONUS. I prefer payment in Zelle, Venmo, or PPFF.

I’m interested in getting a Pard NV007 but I’m a little confused. I see two models offered, the S and V. The price difference is around $200. I’d like to get it with a 12mm lens and 940nm IR wavelength. I found this configuration with the NV007V on B&H Photo in NY for $339. But they also have a NV007S for $539, which is what Amazon gets for that same unit. Other than the S being ”waterproof” and the S being “water resistant”, is there anything that makes the S worth so much more than the V? I’m just curious to know what the real difference is between the two. Thanks!

Had the chance to get out with a few friends and do some shooting, although I was technically working it was still nice to have some good company. We were shooting from 50 yards all the way out to several hundred with a variety of high end products. We had a great view of the local mountains that just received a good amount of snow.

I've noticed that I have been hunching my shoulders flinching bad before I take a shot. I really noticed it today when I didn't pull the trigger with enough pressure. What are some of your techniques to have a smooth trigger pull?
