I don't want to annoy the neighbors much as my gun is quite loud, but that's the first bird for the cats. The neighbors did ask me to take care of the doves as they have been hurting their air conditioning system(too much poop). so i need to thin their numbers down.

I ordered a couple of the SubMOA .30 barrel blanks and am having one machined for one my RAW HM1000x. Was curious if anyone has done this as yet and if so, what your experience has been?

For the last couple years I’ve kind of vanished from the airgun forums / community to follow other interests and hobbies. Now over the last few months I’ve come full circle and rediscovered my love for airguns and modifying them. I’ve jumped from brand to brand, and have held onto my favourites and let the others go. Now for the serious question. How many guns can one own before it becomes apparent that you simply have too many? A few pics of why I’m asking the question. And feeling a bit shameful that that’s not the entire collection.

Because of construction I've been temporarily shooting off a cheap, wobbly, plastic Walmart folding table on my porch and rear deck. With construction done and the table wobbly and sagging I'm ready to make something better. I want something with a smooth top but some grip. Concrete my preference, is probably too heavy unless I make it very thin. I'm thinking a plywood top but this will be in the weather and I'm concerned about delamination. Perhaps sealing marine plywood?
Any suggestions? What do you use for a permanent outdoor airgun bench?

While researching guns and optics and specifically digging up info on the Zulus, I stumbled upon a Youtube video shot on what looked to be a pretty nice airgun range. Now even though I’ve done some little bit of world traveling over the last 20 years or so, I’ll admit to being no expert on accents. However, I feel pretty comfortable saying that the creator of this particular video was an Englishman. So I’m watching this fellow cover his experience with the Zulus while demonstrating it, when the camera pans quickly past a very unusual target. Wait, just what the hell was that? A little further in, AND THERE IT IS AGAIN! I’m kind cracking up a little bit as I continue to watch, and the more this guy goes on about the Zulus while COMPLETELY ignoring what has become the elephant in room for me, really gets me chuckling. A thought then hits me, so I grab a frame of the video showing the cheeky target, circle it in red, and show it to my wife Heidi. You see, Heidi lived in London for a few years in the 80s, eventually married an Englishman, and still cares greatly and maintains a connection with her former in-laws. When I show her the picture and say “This is evidently how your former people spend the day at the range.” she just looks at it, raises an eyebrow, and hits me with… “I’m not surprised.” That of course got me laughing again.

Hello everyone. I'm a new airgun enthusiast. I've been using gunpowder guns my whole life, so I'm quite familiar with guns.

I fell in love with my friend's PCP gun a while ago and got myself a Snowpeak P35 .22 gun. I got it couble of weeks a go. I have an adapter for a suppressor and a suppressor for it from my .22LR.

When I added a suppressor, I noticed that air comes out of the small holes in the shroud when shooting. I tried to tape the holes shut to silence the gun. But there is no seal between the shroud and the barrel, so air leaks into your face when shooting. Has anyone come across a similar feature? Can the gap between the shroud and the barrel be sealed somehow?

The gun is really nice to shoot. I haven't adjusted it other than the suppressor, except by putting a 2cm extension piece at the back and lightening the trigger spring.
Airguns have come long way from my childhood and are absolute great for shooting and shooting practice.

Absolutely LOVE this gun and out of the box one of if not the most accurate .30 I have ever shot BUT I HATE the semi bullpup form factor. If I could get a traditional rifle stock for this it would be one I would never let go.

Is a laser with 44.75 as well as 50.15. Has the AoA power tune and upgraded 700cc bottle. Currently shooting the 44.75 a hair under 900 FPS, with plenty of room to go up or down. AoA did a fantastic job on the trigger and is getting roughly 53 shots per fill with the 700cc bottle.

Picked up another .30 RAW which fits me much better…

Let me know what you are thinking trade wise and can go from there.

I decided to work with my 300s today's. It's accurate, I like shooting it, but it's very fussy. I decided to shoot some different pellets for groups first. All 5 shot groups at 23 yards shooting with my buddy Sam and my wife Naomi. Note the group with AA10.3. See the stray pellet above the 5 shots......NO, that was the first 5 shots with the 10.3s, the larger group below was the second group. The second group I had it going but the pressure got me on the last shot,lol. I have a lot of 4 plus 1s but it's not often I can squeeze 5 in like that. The wadcutters I only shot 1 group.

Saw this really interesting video that was posted recently and was wondering if any airgunners out there have tried this method and have results of their own to share with the collective group. I will be testing it out as mine original liner was facing 6 o'clock so next time I got the range I am going to compare it to the 12 o'clock position.

FX Maverick Compact .22

Don't want to go into detail but it's utterly pathetic at eliminating certain fat pests. Getting extremely poor results with recent infestation flairup. So bad in fact, considering stopping using it altogether for this purpose.

Shooting pretty much point blank at the X mark. No result. Pressure's good, Crossman hollow point pellets. Saw them just ricochet off their heads multiple times. Seems to not have any penetrating power for almost 800 fps.

Idk unless something is wrong with my gun or me. Do I need different pellets?

I am having a weird issue. I am filling my AEA Challenger with a bottle.. Gun fills fine.

Once full I shut off the bottle, vent the line but the hose won't come off the rifles fill probe. It comes off the bottle. After fifdling with it for a few minutes it finally popped off but a large burst of air came out, leading me to believe the reason it didn't come out was due to pressure locking it in.

Any ideas? Maybe bad check valve on fill probe? Or is something wrong in the rifle fill port?

Some Game Suggestions:​

The target setup consists of 8 targets: big and small for each of the four suits.

• Small targets as corresponding to ranks 2 through 7 (six ranks: 2,3,4,5,6,7).
• Big targets as corresponding to ranks 8 through Ace (seven ranks: 8,9,10,J,Q,K,A).

1. Poker Shootout:
   • Rules: Each player is dealt 5 cards from a standard deck. They must shoot at the target corresponding to each card’s suit and size (e.g., 5 of Hearts targets small Hearts). For each successful hit, the card is kept; misses result in discarding that card. After shooting, players form their hands from kept cards, and the best poker hand wins.
   • Variations: To add strategy, players could have a limited number of shots (e.g., 3 shots for 5 cards), choosing which cards to aim for. This introduces decision-making, as players prioritize high-value cards.
   • Feasibility: Works well with shared targets, though multiple players may need turns to avoid interference. Ensure clear target labeling for quick identification.
2. Card Matching Challenge:
   • Rules: Players draw cards one at a time from a shuffled deck, then shoot at the target matching the card’s suit and size. A hit earns a point; a miss scores nothing. The game continues until the deck is exhausted, and the player with the most points wins.
   • Variations: Can be played in teams, with cumulative scores, or with a time limit for added pressure.
   • Feasibility: Simple and scalable, suitable for all skill levels, with minimal setup beyond deck and targets.
3. Target Blackjack:
   • Rules: Players start with zero points. They draw a card and choose to shoot at the corresponding target to add its rank value to their total (e.g., drawing a 5 of Diamonds, shoot at small Diamonds for 5 points if hit). They can continue drawing and shooting, aiming for a total closest to 21 without exceeding it. If they miss a shot, they don’t add that card’s value and can choose to stop or draw another.
   • Scoring: Aces can be 1 or 11, at the player’s discretion, adding strategy. The player closest to 21 without going over wins.
   • Feasibility: Adapts blackjack to shooting, though requires clear communication of rules, especially for Ace values. Works well for individual play or small groups.
4. Suit Collection:
   • Rules: Players aim to collect cards from one suit by hitting both its big and small targets. Each hit allows drawing a card from the corresponding pile (e.g., hitting big Hearts draws a random 8-Ace of Hearts). The first player to have at least one card from both big and small of any suit wins.
   • Variations: Could require collecting specific ranks or add points for each card collected, extending playtime.
   • Feasibility: Encourages focus on specific targets, but may need pre-sorted card piles for efficiency. Suitable for quick, competitive play.
5. High Card Challenge:
   • Rules: Two players compete, each shooting at a target to draw a card. The player with the higher rank wins that round (e.g., King beats 7). Ties can be resolved by another draw or declared draws. First to win 3 rounds wins the game.
   • Variations: Expand to tournaments with more players, or add stakes like points for each win.
   • Feasibility: Simple and fast, ideal for casual play, though requires clear rank comparison rules (e.g., Ace high).

Has anyone received the new daystate black wolf? Is this similar to the ghost. I have the Day State Redwolf and the Day State Alfa wolf, two great guns. Would I be getting something different if I reach out and grab the day state black wolf in your comparison I also have the Pantera and FX CROWN, which is the crème de la crème of the above.
