Sick Trash Panda

This one should not have been out at this time of day to start. Then it did not run when I got within 10 yards of it.
Had a strange staggering walk also. I put it down with the Dreamline Lite .30 with NSA slugs.
It was walking around the neighbors house and She came and asked me to take it out.

First off, I hope you are having a fantastic day. I have a few items for sale, and hopefully out of this list there is something you need or want. I am busier than ever with work, and just cannot find time for these basically expensive paperweights. Maybe one of you could put these items to better use than I can. There is some truly incredible gear here for what I believe to be exceptional pricing, everything listed below is PRICED TO MOVE. I don't have pics of everything just yet, as I am at the office at the time of writing this ad, but I can text/e-mail pics of anything you request better pictures of.

All items can be shipped anywhere in the US, with insurance and tracking. Financing through PayPal Credit is available through me, so you don't have to drop a bunch of your hard earned cash all at once. Let me know how I can help. PayPal friends and family is obviously preferred if doing a cash deal to circumvent the heavy fees PayPal imposes on us.

Please, I encourage you to feel free to check my reputation, if you want to talk over the phone I am very happy to do that -- I can send you my cell number via PM. I've been a member here for a long time and never had a bad experience on AGN. That's one of the reasons I love the airgun community!

Crosman Custom Shop

Just what do you get if you order an airgun from the custom shop? Other than components that are not offered on standard stock models, do you get a gun that is put together with more TLC, or cherry picked barrels and triggers? The prices seem reasonable to me but if I am getting a 2300 and not getting a different set of components why not just order the stock item? Not complaining, just curious.

  • Question
Newbie needing suggestions

A friend and I have started getting into small game hunting/target shooting with air rifles. Currently been using a gamo magnum break barrel with no complaints. Potentially just wanting more, which demands PCP it seems. I've acquired some info so far, but still looking for some suggestions

-Cleaning/maintenance frequency and complexity

-Reliability of PCP rifles in harsh weather

-thoughts on buying second hand?

Things I'm looking for in order of importance:
-Range, being able to trust something at 100+ yards would be very nice.
-Weight/Length , Im on the move a decent amount and shoot standing up sometimes, it would be awesome to keep under 7-8 lbs and not be too terribly long.
-Reliable, don't want it constantly breaking/Jamming on me.
-Magazine capacity of at least 5. The more, the better.
-Semi auto would be really nice, but I could be talked into bolt action.
-Stopping power is not something I'm terribly concerned with, just needs to be able to drop small game at the ranges expressed above.

My price range is preferably 500-1000, but some of these high end semi autos are making me think again. A second hand leshiy 2 or a steyr hunting rifle would be pretty cool. Just not into the 3-5k that would cost to have done all-new. Thoughts on the AEA terminator? Just seems like those are good for about 20 shots before they need refilled.

Or is something like a bolt action daystate more up my alley?

Looking for

New to the forum here, but not airguns. My question regards an individual that has an airgun of mine to re-seal but I am unable to contact him. His name is Mike Archer from Lino Lakes, MN. Would appreciate any info you guys might have on him. The gun is a Crosman 84 Challenger and he has had it for a couple years. Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.

Bad Pellets

I usually buy my pellets 4 or 5 tins at a time. Bought a supply of JSB Diablo's in .25 and .22. Did not have a problem. I also bought some JSB Hades. The last couple of tins of the JSB Hades have been absolutely horrible. I then opened a couple more just to check and they are the same, terrible. Problem is I bought from a couple different sources so I don't want to mention anyone specifically as it's probably not their problem anyway. Anyone have a contact or can point me to someone at JSB in the USA to send them photos and photos of the can lot number. These might be a year or up to two years old sitting in my basement but I didn't get the only bad tins from this batch. They have had to have had some complaints prior to this. Ideas please. Thanks

Old man left behind

Got logged out for some reason. Trying to log back in was unable to do. Don't know what email I originally used to register. After a week of trying gave up and just opened a new account. Even that was total hell and took 3 days. Being old and totally ignorant of all things about computers is taking a bigger and bigger bite out of my old dumb ass every day. I use to be fuznut now I'm that spelled backwards. Not trying to hide from anyone or thing just trying to hold on. If you had me blocked guess you will have to do again . Good day all, sorry for the rant, but im out of walls to knock holes in.

Red Ryder Display Board

As many of you know, I make various trinkets, knives, woodworking items, etc.

A month or so ago, I was approached re a commission job. I never take these as I just make what I want and if someone wants to buy, fine. If not...move along. But this one was interesting to me. It was a soon to be grandmother who wanted a 'Cowboy Themed' rustic display to give to her daughter/son in law to put in the kids room. They apparently are into that and their wedding was cowboy themed. The baby is due shortly.

I ended up using pallet wood, reinforced in the back. Charred the edges with a torch for a bit more character. Sourced the small hat and boots and gave them a weathered look with sandpaper and a torch. Secured with hooks that I forged out of horseshoe nails. The gun hooks are from deer antler. The gun itself is an early model Red Ryder that I picked up cheap at the Hickory Airgun show last month. It still works, too.

The last name is Swarts and so I made a name plate and drew out the letters and cut them in with a Dremel and then charred it a bit. Several coats of Poly later, I ended up with this.

Not directly airgun related, but close enough.

HW/Weihrauch  I need a lot of practice w/ my HW95.............................................

A front rest/rear bag combo ain't working too good for group shooting. I'll try this artillery hold thing next decently warm day but I only have partial use of my left hand and I'm not very steady shooting off hand so this airgun thing may be a big $700 mistake.

Attention MTM wind flag users!

I’m not a big spender when it comes to wind flags, so when a member linked me to the mtm wind flags from amazon last year I was all over those-

So in practicing my target shooting how I set them up was to insert them into a one gallon bucket filled with sand and I’d poke the rod the flag came with thru the lid.

The Sanford and Son wind flag set up, lol-
IMG_5932.jpeg

At the recent EBR AGN member ZX10WALL (Derek Wall) had shown me his mtm flags set up on a tripod and ball head. Loved the idea and I wanted to somehow thread this part of the flags holder-
IMG_5928.jpeg
IMG_5927.png

onto the 1/4-20 threads of the ball head but was unsure of how to do it.
So I reached out to member CFS916 to recreate the plastic wire holder out of machined aluminum with 1/4-20 threads. Oh boy, just like his machined cocking handles he’s made for my fx guns
IMG_5857.jpeg

He’s done an awesome job. The wire can be pulled out of the factory piece, inserted into the machined piece and set with a locking grub screw.
IMG_5926.png

Then, threaded onto the 1/4-20 male thread on the ball head so you can now use these MTM flags on a tripod
IMG_5922.jpeg

These tripods I’ll link from amazon, along with the ball heads. They both come in a two pack, and doing the math with the mtm wind flags now going for $17 on amazon, you could set yourself up with a pair of wind flags you will be proud to own and that will add to the target shooting enjoyment for not a lot of money.

If you’re looking to set yourself up with flags on the cheap but boast quality, give CFS916 a pm for the adapters and here are the links to the tripod and ball head set ups below- thanks a bunch, CFS916!!!

FX  Mk2 impact

How low of pressure can I dry fire my impact. I installed the 720 PP and power block and the Oring that is sealing the poppet rod is strangling the rod being new. I've lost 100 fps from my original tune. I greased the rod with silicone grease. I'm figuring if I dry fire it a couple hundred times it will break in sort of like a new engine takes a few thousand miles to break in.

  • Question
Benjamin  Benjamin Marauder .22 semi auto, forward assist stuck open.

Benjamin Marauder .22 semi auto, forward assist is stuck open. Fresh out of the box, I shot about eight clips; down to about 1200 psi. I filled it to about 2700 psi, and loaded a fresh clip. I got one shot out, then a blank. I pulled the trigger once more thinking it was a misfire, nothing again. I took the clip out and it came out with the o ring pinched in it. Now the bolt is stuck open and won't close. Any suggestions before I start taking it apart?

Went to our local brick & mortar airgun retailer in Colville WA today (pics)

And wouldn't you? originally opened just before covid ( as a Cafe and airgun store) and I dont go to town much so ..... . A neighbor who I had let try the AF Escape with shogun and he still thought airsoft but "did that just put a hole in that frying pan?" so I took off the shogun he tried again said nice reduction and almost fled. Showed back up last week and said "I figure out airguns, no powder" and we talked and talked. He asked if I knew of Jennen's Backwoods in Colville. I had but thought they had closed. Had to go there today and drove by the sign said OPEN, so.
Ya buddy! Walked in and spoke with Scott. Told him I wasn't buying a thing just looking for a friend. At one point even the wife said "I have the bank card", haha. Darn airgunners.
Got to handle a few newer rigs I had never seen, the Hammer, MUCH nicer in person than any picture I have seen, well balanced. pretty nice actually if that's your thing. They may (?) have land they run hunts on so lot's of big bore & ammo and.... . Believe -if you are buying- they have an indoor range 20-30 yards? (didn't go in). Hadn't seen the Avenger either and we had spoken of trigger so he said "hey try this one" and we stepped outside just to dryfire it a couple of times. Set up as a nice single stage 5-6oz and extremely crisp. And again better balance than I had expected, not a bad rig at all in person. They had the sig look alike Co2 (ugh) not my thing, but, Scott was smart enough to put on in my hand. Hum. I passed it to the wife, hum, "feels right". Did not know you could drop the clip and bleed the pistol yet save the Co2 cart and thus the pistols seals! I informed the wife I will not be needing one of these for Christmas. (clears throat)
We've both be into pre-charged since the late 80's fired most every older airgun around and (thought) I didn't think too much of some of the newer offerings, but the Avenger and that Co2 sig have me rethinking things. And airgun friends let me tell you, either take money or DO NOT walk into one, esp. as well stocked a Jennen's.
Would this help you decide your next purchase? "Take it our front".
17.jpg
And just a bunch of pictures so thumbnails I believe one can click on for full size.

DFL, JSB, Buckrail, Javlin slug, BKL rings, RAW, AF, FX, Benjamin, compressor was on commission, they sell SCBA and fill tanks, on and on. And great prices. Darn. I will back there next week. Dont need anything but Scott said yes-tried it- the buckrail will hold up on your AF .25 and I only need hearing protection as the backyard goes for miles, then I could sell the Shogun and but a ........ "see honey".
Believe they are open Tuesday to Saturday (might be wrong), no web site but you could call 509-685-7284 if you are or might be in the area. I have nothing to do with the place but DO recommend it.
