PCP Rifle  SOLD FX Bobcat MKll 25 cal Bullpup w/extras

I have a .25 Bobcat .MKll that I'm reluctantly selling..
Its an amazing rifle that to my knowledge has been sold on AGN 3 times.
Every previous owner to this rifle has DMd me about wishing they didn't sell...Ill probably be the next one..
Some of you may know this rifle by the unique cheek rest on the riser.
This rifle is a laser, comes with a regulator
pre-installed, holds air forever and has a dial for low or high power.
Low power its whisper quiet and you can shoot most of the day on a single air fill.
On high power you have a small to medium game hunting rifle.
This rifle has a built in suppressor, upper picatinny rail for your optic and a lower picatinny rail for bi-pod/ flash light/ foregrip or whatever else you like.
Comes with a fill probe, silicone grease for fill probe, O-ring repair kit (never needed), 6x single shot trays, 4x 12 shot magazines 3x OEM and one aftermarket that loads the opposite direction, this rifle can seat one mag in the breach and 2 in the stock which is awesome when out in the field so you can get 36 shots with no additional gear in your pockets. All of this will be kept safe and secure and shipped in the padded foam hard case from Utah Air Guns.
Has 2 small blemishes one on the barrel and one on the stock.
I'm including the mounted ACOG optic at no additional price and I will throw in 5 tins of
H&N Barracuda pellets, this gives you 750 rounds to get aquainted with this rifle.
Never in my life have I owed money to the tax man but he's knocking with his hand out so time to thin my heard.
Shoot me a message if you are interested.
I'm asking $750 shipped in the lower 48 for the entire package.
I accept PP FF, Venmo or Money order.
Check my feedback in the members area, I'm usually just a buyer, saddens me to be a seller this time.

PCP Rifle  NLA $500 shipped slug tuned AEA Challenger Pro .22.

This is a Great Rifle. Currently putting out 53fpe for the slugs included or just a little more power using jsb redesign 25g. Very accurate with either choice of ammo. 8 mags are included. 4 work flawlessly with slugs, the other 4 need a little tweaking but work well with any pellets. Aluminum moderator included with around 300 impulse air HBT slugs in 22g. Feel free to ask any questions.

FX  .25 FX King 600 set-up complete

Watching the forecasted winter artic blast head toward the Midwest, I decided that if I wanted to finish setting up my King, this afternoon was my window to do so. Not ideal, as the temps were only in the mid 30s and the wind was approximately 8 mph quartering in, I dressed for it, put a tether bottle out to try to keep the pressure up, set targets out at my max range of 84 yards, and proceeded to shoot two ten shot groups each of the SIX best short range performing slugs - out of twelve different slugs tested.

The ZAN 37 grain performed respectfully and came out second. The best performing slugs hands down were the Alteros 50 grain (shown below). In the second group, five of the 10 shots went into the same hole!

The rifle was equipped with an Athlon Midas Tac 6-24x50 FFP MRAD scope and Accu-Tac G2 bipod.

For those King or Panthera owners curious, I have included the final tune settings.

N/A  Valve stem damage. Artemis m16a bottle

Hi all, noticing some damage at both ends of the stem. Trying to figure out muzzle velocity inconsistencies. I’ve already cleaned the regulator and put a Delrin seat in. That took away all the creep but now I’m noticing fairly consistent 4 -5 fps spread with an occasional 20 to 25 feet velocity difference every seven shots or so. I thought maybe the valve stem was sticking after seeing these marks on it. Any insight would be grateful.

Traditional Pistol  SOLD Diana P5 Magnum “German made”

RWS Diana P5 Magnum in .177 caliber. Excellent condition. In the bright sunlight a tiny bit of a brownish spot can be seen (1/2 fingernail size) in the bluing on the muzzle end in front of the sight. German made and discontinued some 15 years ago. $225. $200 without the custom grips. Plus $20 shipping. PayPal or U.S Postal Money Order. Continental U.S Only. Pictures show both sets of grips.

Other  Which Walmart pumper to buy

Looking at getting a cheap Walmart pumper. Already have a the $38 Crossman 760, Sheridan Bluestreak, Crossman 140 and vintage Crossman 761XL. Looking at Daisy 880, Crossman Legacy 1000, Barra 1866 an Ruger NXG APX pumper. All of these airguns are in the $60 to $70 dollar range. I want to buy the most accurate. Note I plan to buy some more vintage pumpers but saving money for those and have that itch to get another airgun that cannot wait. Thank you in advance for all replies.

January TEXtreme Bench-Rest Silhouette Match Report

Friends,

Been a while since the moon and stars aligned well enough to produce a good turn-out for our quarterly TEXtreme Bench-Rest Silhouette matches, but they did last Saturday. Probably helped that we had two new victims… er, I mean, new BRS shooters. They, and the BRS “regulars” (not to be confused with normals), might have gotten more than they bargained for.

With roughly half the eleven shooters taking advantage of sliding-scale quantity breaks to invest in multiple score-cards, twenty-two score-cards were turned in. Unfortunately, the “more than they bargained for” part included an unscheduled side-show that I suspect was considerably more entertaining for those witnessing it than it was for the star of the show🤡, aka- the Match Director. Perhaps the alignment of the moon stars also had something to do with the side-show; it was that strange!o_O

Pre-match sight-in/practice came to a screeching halt when three Central Texas Rifle And Pistol Club officers👮‍♀️🧑‍✈️🧌 arrived loaded for bear, including the club president.🤴 Apparently two other club officers who (a couple years ago) vested in me the power to direct matches at CTRPC lacked authority to do so. To say El Presidente was not happy with ME would be quite an understatement; he read me the riot act.🤬 I might have been a bit taken aback🤨, thrown off balance😏, confused🥴, contorted😣, embarrassed😖, discombobulated😵‍💫, and/or humiliated🥵. So much so I might have blushed, stuttered, spoken an unknown tongue, or my second language, Pig Latin. Thankfully after about 15 minutes of tongue-lashing🤬, El Presidente must have decided it better to end my public humiliation on a positive note, rather than explain an imminent lynching to law-enforcement authorities. “I’ll take care of this right now. We’re the THREE club officers needed to make you an officer. You’re a club officer!

Duly anointed, I herded the immensely-entertained shooters and continued the proceedings with all the authority I thought I’d had before the proceedings were so rudely interrupted by the authorities with the authority to inform me I lacked proper authority to conduct the proceedings I now continued conducting with proper authority; albeit possibly lacking whatever iota of credibility I might have had before the proceedings were so rudely interrupted by the authorities with the authority to inform me I lacked proper authority to conduct the proceedings I now continued conducting with proper authority.

Don’t know why I didn’t shoot well. But do have a pretty good idea why the match took longer to shoot than I’d planned for; about 15 minutes longer. Unfortunately the sun set on Saturday’s match before some shooters could shoot their final relay; forcing DNFs on some score-cards, inflicting more humiliation on the match director, and eliciting offers of entry fee refunds.

Apparently the affected shooters felt aforementioned sideshow worth the (scorecard) price of admission:ROFLMAO:, as all refused refunds. They might have realized the price of those DNF scorecards a great investment in carte blanche to tease me the rest of my life. Thankfully the thickness of my skin is proportional to that of my skull.🤤

The DNFs probably affected some match results. Probably not as much as they affected my inner peace, now better described as inner pieces.

Complete and utter stranger to BRS podiums Jim Martin posted a BRS record-tying 38/40 to capture the Slug class Match Winner hat-pin. Jim shot .25 slugs of unknown make, model and weight, at unknown velocity in his (presumably) .25 caliber air rifle of unknown make and model, presumably topped with a scope of unknown make and model. He also got ten-in-a-row chickens and pigs with afore-described equipment. Great shooting, Jim!(y)

Another stranger to airgun competition podiums, and the BRS record co-holder:unsure:, Derrick Wall was second in the Slug Class field of four with an excellent 37/40. The turkeys upset Derrick’s otherwise perfect efforts, three of them left standing🐓🐓🐓. In other words, DW got ten-in-a-row chickens, pigs and rams with his Athlon Midas equipped .22 Vulcan 3, shooting 33 grain Zan slugs 1015 FPS. Excellent shooting, Derrick.

Of nine (finished) score-cards turned in, Derrick also captured the 100 Foot Pound pellet class Match Winner hat-pin. His Athlon Cronus topped .30 caliber Cricket 2 Tac shoots 56 grain Zans 890 FPS; apparently pretty well, as his 36/40 score included ten-in-a-row chickens and rams. That’s some fine shooting with a pellet gun in those tricky winds🌪️, D!

Jeff Cloud’s 33/40 was good for second place in the 100 FP pellet class with his Sightron S3 glassed .25 RAW HM1000X shooting 34 grain JSBs 930 FPS. Jeff also got ten-in-a-row pigs. Good shooting, Jeff.

Three shooters turned in finished scorecards in 35 Foot Pound pellet Class. Jim Clarke’s excellent 29/40 score got him the Match Winner hat-pin, shot with a 16X scoped .22 Daystate Red Wolf and 18 grain AA pellets. Good shooting, Jim.

Four of us shared an excellent dinner at Uncle Worm’s🪱🪱 Smokehouse after the match… while reliving the match director’s side-show debacle.:ROFLMAO: Correction- the Club Officer👮‍♀️ Match Director!

Happy Shooting Y’all,
Ron & Maggyy

On close inspection the CLUB OFFICER Match Director can be seen multi-tasking as none other could- simultaneously directing the match, monitoring the count-down clock, spotting and scoring for a squad-mate, taming the savage beast, and talking smack; all while creating the illusion of LOAFING.🥱😴🥴

First recovered hybrid slug

Got a squirrel this morning from my porch with my .25cal Avenger shooting FX Hybrids.
This is the first slug I've recovered and it definitely shows signs of expansion.
The squirrel was 30yds out and 30' up being chased by two others. It's very satisfying seeing them fall out of a tree DRT after a good shot.
I caught her in the head and the slug stopped in the opposite shoulder.

  • Question
Diana  Diana 54 action movement

I just purchased a new Diana 54 Airking Pro (laminated stock) in .22 cal. I was siting it in and found that the first shot would be dead on, the second 3" low, the third dead on (same hole as the first) and fourth 3" low (same hole as the second). I was very puzzled until I realized that the entire action slides within the stock and it was not returning to the front position when re-cocked. So, I manually pull the barrel forward within the stock after every shot and it's always dead on.

The manual says that it should automatically go back to the front position when re-cocked. Any ideas?

Also, the entire mechanisms shifts within the stock (see pics). Is this normal? Pyramid Air (Seller) said this is a defective gun but I think they might be wrong? They said that the there should be no movement within the stock. However, I thought that's what a sliding action did.
Any help would be immensely appreciated.
Dan

Airgun Altaros M24 - Increasing power and shot count, New spare magazine

We would like to inform you that the current stock M24 rifles have already been delivered new elements in the
form of the possibility to fill the airtube up to 300bar and the possibility to set the output pressure from the
regulator up to the limit of 250bar
. Thanks to this, more power can be achieved and the shot count can be
increased.

The green field is the recommended output pressure in the form of a suitable ratio of power and air consumption,
as well as the pressure to which the rifle is primarily set from the factory.

We would also like to officially announce that it is possible to order Altaros M24 airgun from our second e-shop https://www.militaryairgun.com/49-airguns also for customers from the USA.
We have also added to the ehsop the possibility of purchasing spare magazines for all types of our ATP .25 slugs, not just for the ATP Queen. https://www.militaryairgun.com/113-magazines-accesories

new power and shot count.png

Some rifles with these features were already delivered to users at the end of 2023. The possibility of filling
the airtube for a short time to 300bar (roughly one to 1 hour) can be recognized by the fact that the manometer
showing unregulated pressure has a scale up to 400bar (original manometer for max. filling pressure 250bar has a scale
only up to 300bar).
If you have a manometer with a 400bar scale, you can download the new manual on our website and after studying
it, start using the rifle even for 300bar filling pressure in accordance with this new manual

Air Arms  Prosport/ TX200 breech seals...

Just curious about the life span on these o-ring breech seals for the prosport. I don't know, but would assume, the TX200 has the same 2 ring set up. I have read of some having issues with the top o-ring being sliced or chewed up somewhat?
Is this more so on the TX200, or do the prosports
have similar issues?

So far with mine I have a couple of tins through it and I haven't seen any issues yet.

With my 97K and 77K I use a thin delrin spacer to put between the compression tube and the back of the breech (not where the pellet goes in),to keep pressure off of the breech seal when they're stored in the safe. This seems to work well from keeping the seals from being flattened out over time.

I bought several spare 97/77 breech seals long ago before the price on them went way up. There was a place in Canada, Specialty Shooting Sports
I think it was. They had the 97 seals for like $4 which was the cheapest I've ever seen, they're out of business now.

FX  Jekyll and Hyde... the FX M3..

When i purchased my first FX M3 its sole purpose was to be for extended range shooting with slugs....
Distances of less than 100yds and pellets are of no interest.

It has been a VERY frustrating adventure with the M3.... I never dreamed the M3 was actually a "Jekyll and Hyde" in the disguise as an PCP airgun..

When the M3 presents itself as "Dr Jekyll" it is VERY charming....behaves as should and produces some stunning , stunning examples of accuracy right where it should be and right where you want it.
In this form its a fantastic friend to have and something you can depend on..

BUT!!!

Just when you thought life was all roses and just couldn't get any better.......This evil evil bastard called " Mr Hyde" takes the form of the M3!!!!

Groups open up......... and the worst , worst trait of "Mr Hyde" ...............even if you do get good groups , they are not where they are supposed to be ....... he just says to hell with it, and puts them at random all around your point of aim ......then you hear that manic laughter and you realise its time to call it quits for the day.

:LOL::LOL:

Today...... was "Dr Jekyll" :)

Air Arms  TX200 HC Cocking arm spinning?

Something felt weird when I cocked the gun and I noticed it's rotating. I can pull it about 1/8 inch forward. It does not screw on to the nub on the knuckle if you want to call it that but definitely is rotating freely.
It slides over the top of that piece. But I can't see how it is attached ?
I have looked at schematics but nothing shows it as being separate.

update-

I just found this picture on a UK forum and it sounds like it just glues on..

I'm just curious if anybody here has come to a better resolution than that, or if that's just fine...

Tuning  L2 Conversion Therapy- Bigbore No more! ((.177) tune repository

Hello Friends! Hope everyone is having a great start to the year :)
My current L2 is stock 250mm AP .30 with REPR reg.

I want to convert it to a .177 paper puncher and maximize shot count for distances 25yrds and under. Preferred ammo would be jsb wadcutters but would love to know peoples’ tunes for other ammo as well. My gf got me a pack of greens (7.33gr) for Christmas so that’s on deck.

I bought the following:
  • 470cc airtank
  • 250mm .177 barrel (Alfa Precision)
  • .177 pellet mag
  • 0.2mm-1.3mm power jet kit
  • 2x 2.0mm jets
  • Raptor reg
  • Dog collar (New Forward Plug LSA242200 #32)
  • Dog bone (New Forward Plug LSA242200 #33)
  • Assortment of different size transfer port pucks, 1mm, 2mm, 3mm

Unfortunately the Wika gauge arrived all scratched up so I had to send it back and am waiting for a replacement so I don’t currently have a way to measure plenum pressure 😞

Anything submitted here will (eventually) be used as the starter data for a central repository of L2 tunes (all calibers). Not 100% sure how I want to do it yet, just maintain a hosted spreadsheet or actually make a site with selectable options that allows user submissions and possibly a rating system. Honestly it will mostly be a factor of time.

That being said, my questions to all you L2 experts out there are-
  • What are your favorite .177 tunes?
  • Please include as many of the following data points as possible
    • Ammo used (I know this is obvious)
    • Plenum pressure
    • Jet selections
    • Transfer port pick size
    • Barrel length
    • Velocity
    • Shot count & airtank or shots per x cc
    • Were there any notes/comments/issues with this tune?
Additional data points
  • Barrel type
  • REPR/Raptor/Old school
  • [anything else I’m missing]?

Thank you for taking the time to read this and share your wisdom. It’s rare I actually get to shoot at this point which is why I’m requesting this info instead of just doing the leg work myself.
Have a fantastic evening!
