Very accurate and not pellet picky. Was resealed and tuned right after I got it by motorhead. Steve at AEAC has an excellent review of this gun from a few years ago. Scope is a Discovery 4-16 ffp.
Around 70 shots per fill when filled to 300 bar. Last tested for velocity in 11/22. jsb 15's @ 820 fps, FX!8's 759 fps.
Here is a picture of a target taken in October 2023 at 30 yards = top 2 rows, 5 shot groups. I ususally shoot form 20 - 40 yards in my backyard.

Like new Notos. All original and untouched. No adjustments made. It shoots great with CPUM at 790 fps and also likes JSB's 15 and 18 gr. It gets three mags on a fill. I have a couple of springers but I've been wanting to get into PCP’s and I’ve been doing some browsing and little research. I already have a compressor in mind but I would like some suggestions between four .22 caliber rifles that I came across. The first 2, I want a powerful rifle to push slugs for rabbit hunting so I was wanting to go with the .22 Airforce Condor SS, but then I came across the .22 Hatsan NeutronStar which looks like a really nice repeater rifle. The Hatsan doesn’t have a regulator but I can find the right slugs to manage the speed and energy. The Condor SS and the Hatsan NeutronStar are in the same price range, but I only would have to choose one out of the two, so which one would you recommend ??

Then I came across two more rifles that caught my attention, and they both are in the same price range and I like the way they push some 18grain pellets. so I was thinking of also purchasing one of the two for target shooting and squirrel hunting with pellets, and possibly replacing my .22 Gamo Magnum. Which rifle would you recommend out of the .22 Hatsan Flashpup and the .22 Air Venturi Avenger Bullpup? Your suggestions/ recommendations are greatly appreciated, Thank you.

How does the Light differ, from the Pro and Classic versions?

When I was real young I remember us kids playing with a broken air rifle that the barrel would push straight in to cock it. I'm pretty sure it was a spring type air gun. Has anyone ever seen one of these or hear of them? I am just kind of curious to see a pic of one of these again.

They didn't provide much details but supposedly there will be some new Theobens models out and UK made. Lloyd and the new guys are usually pretty credible.

Hopefully some more details soon. I still love me Rapid 1 and 2.

This is my Diana 48 that I bought last fall. I’ve shot a few thousand pellets through it at this point. It’s certainly a quality piece, even if I’m not as accurate as others in this forum.



That said, I like to tinker… First thing I did was fit a Williams target peep sight. Had to make a small cut in the stock, but the sight picture was so worth it! Still needs some stain though.



Next, I noticed some pellets had fallen from the breech and damaged the breech seal. The gun was blowing gas and pellets all over the place. So I sat on my hands for a few months while a set of vortex seals and a Tinbum maxi kit came in.



Once I got those put in it, the shot cycled turned from sprrrrrrroiiiiiinnnngggggg to a nice sharp crack. That combined with some JSB Exact Heavies and Monsters, I’m feeling hopeful for the future with this fräuline.

Can’t wait for the Finnish cold to finally depart so I can train in comfort, and earnest once again.

A nasty virus kept me home from work so I set more of my backyard range up. I don’t use reset strings - when all 20 targets have fallen, I take a walk. The barrels contain sound and potential ricochets nicely.

Good morning guys, I am working my way into FT , having really enjoyed the Athlon Helos 2-12 BTR on 3 of my rifles currently I was looking at this scope as an option of course in SFP option as it has a reticle I like , I like MIL and I like a christmas tree reticle. Big fan of familiarity so trying to keep reticles similar to these three Athlons and my Valdada I run.

Can anyone recommend this scope as a good option for a beginner FT setup?

These new Krait with new regulator and redesigned magazines fixed a lot of issues of the past. So far, I am very pleased. And I own a lot of Airguns. I liked the gun when it first came out and I’m glad I waited for all the bugs to be fixed.

My two Kraits, .22 Compact and .25 L. Been waiting for my scope and moderator to come in to put everything together and that was today. Originally had the Impulse IA-1200 moderator but need more noise control and went with Donnyfl Yokozuna. Airmaks Krait shoots like a dream and very light weight for walking the woods. Thanks Airmaks! Continue making great Airguns.

Krait compact has won a slight edge over my Uragan 2 Compact.

Comparison:

Uragan 2 compact, 360mm barrel, 210cc tank & 2.7kg, 620mm overall length

Krait Compact, 400mm barrel, 300cc tank & 2.5kg with adjustable stock, side picatinny, 610mm overall length.

Pellet test at 30yds:

.22 Compact - 2 stacks removed, full Yokozuna

22.07gr JTS Domed. I really wanted the gun to like this pellet since my other compacts love them but did not group well.

18.13gr JSB Jumbo Heavy was the clear winner. (Forget to take pictures)

.25 L - 2 stacks removed, 2 Yokozuna stacks removed

25.39gr JSB King (top target) 3rd place. A few fliers .

33.95gr JSB King Heavy (bottom left target) 2nd place. A few too many fliers from the tin why I pushed it to 2nd place. Supposed I could pick the best pellets and I would avoid fliers .

29.63gr JTS Domed (bottom right target) 1st place. My pick. Out of the box, very few fliers, if any.

Obviously it wouldn't make any sense to pay a tax stamp and the cost of a real suppressor only to use it on an airgun, but if one already had a legally acquired suppressor/silencer for use with an actual powder burning firearm, is it likely to work on an air rifle as well? Has anyone tried this? I have a YHM can for .22LR use, I have yet to check thread compatibility with my AA S510 XS.

Further inspection indicates I'd have to use some kind of an adapter, probably custom made, may not be feasible.

So dived into the pcp world , got myself the new avenge x bull pup with bottle. These are the South African version, put a dach silencer on. Now need to sit and tune. This forum has plenty info, will be shooting 18.13 grn pellets at first. Need to chrony. etc..

If you need to choose one of the following 2 scopes, purely on a quality, versatility, durability and optic performance basis, which one will it be?

I just bought my first 22 caliber Craftsman air powered rifle it's the shockwave quiet fire. Anybody have one of these? What are your thoughts? Is there anything I should look out for as far as problems or anything like that?

Gun has never leaked and is in excellent condition. We all know that the Impact M3 is capable of great accuracy. Is the R.A.W. HM1000x Chassis Rifle as accurate? I would expect it to be less "finicky" since it has fewer adjustments, fewer o-rings, etc., but how does accuracy compare? Mainly bench rest accuracy...

Anyone have any hacks that can be used to get a little bit more crispness (Sharpness) out of cheap glass?

I have been weight sorting my .25 JSB 33.95gr pellets but I am still getting the occasional flyer so I ordered a pellet gauge to start head sorting too. I am wondering if I can group some pellets with different weights together that all have the same head size? Right now I am sorting by tenths of a grain so I am wondering if I can group at least 2 tenths or even 3 tenth’s together?

Lowest weight pellets in my tins so far are 33.6gr and highest have been 34.7gr. I am not sure how much of an extreme spread I will see on the chrono between the lowest and highest but it seems to be barely negligible only a few tenths of a grain apart, at least in my minimal testing.

For those that shoot into pellet traps and then eventually clean them out, ( for me it's been a couple of years), what do you do with it?
Do you keep it?
Do you throw it away?
Do you reuse it?
Do you sell it?
I've got several pounds in gallon zip lock bags
don't know why I keep it though..lol.
