PCP Rifle  SOLD WTS FX Royale .22 Regulated

Hi All,

Bought a couple of these older smooth twist .22 Royales lately and time to move this one along.

Beautiful wood stock, Huma regulated, 2 magazines, DonnyFL adapter original steel bottle.

Reg set to about 125 bar shooting 18.13 at 840 and Hades around 880 and is a laser. Only reason for selling is to move along some of my duplicates.

Pics available on request and thinking 625 shipped would be a good deal for someone.

Air Venturi  All good things must come to an End? LOL

Well, I was hoping to get at least 2 days of shooting in with the Avenger. But.....

This Morning I took it out to see what speeds I get with higher Reg Pressure and I saw what I wanted to see with My Heavier weight projectiles. So I brought it back in and de-gassed again to put the pressure lower like it was before. So I fill it to 4000 and sit down to adjust the Reg again. I did and all of the air started leaking as soon as I opened the Valve Screw. I then let the rest of the Air out again and closed the Valve screw again. So I refilled it again, up to 4000 again. I let it sit for a while and all of the Pressure stayed. So I thought let's try opening the Valve screw again. Sure enough, it started leaking air again. I released the rest of the air, and called it quits. LOL The Airacuda had a full charge, so I went and shot that! lol I did not plan on working on a Rifle on the second day.

Any thoughts? I have never disassembled one of these things and am a Little Nervous.
Thanks!

PCP Pistol  NLA Snowpeak PP800R .177 cal PCP Pistol to be given away FREE

Hello everyone,

I am no longer shooting any .177 caliber pellets and I have this almost new Snowpeak PP800R .177 cal PCP Pistol along with 3-CARM magazines, 1-each short stock barrel, 1-each long barrel and free shipping to the lower 48 states.

The “catch” is the Winner must already have someone chosen that they will give the Pistol to, like their son, daughter, wife, neighbor, etc. To pay it forward to someone that wants to be involved with the sport / hobby of airgun shooting and is not fortunate enough to own an airgun.

The rules are simple: send me a PM in as few words as possible something about the person you have chosen and why you wish to help them. Your PM must be sent to me by midnight July 4th, 2024.

Please note: Due to the AGN rules you must send only PM’s ( personal message ) to me and NOT posted within the forum.

I will announce the winner just as fast as I can digest all of the replies.

EDIT: #1 I sent this out a couple of months ago to be tuned so it is basically a stock Snowpeak / Artemis / Diana. This pistol is very accurate out to 10-meters.

EDIT #2: The winner is @ChickenDumpling / Norm

Have a great day,

Diana  I'll say it again, NO MORE NEW GUNS!

Well last evening I found a 36 Diana, that the seller claimed was in Very Good Conditions. But with the pics he sent I really couldn't tell how good VERY GOOD was. But by chance he was only 45 minutes away. So I dickered a price with him if it was he stated. I aint sure but think I found good one, and cheaper than I can buy a new one.

Oh and he had a front sight set for it as well. The sights are hardly ever with these old guns that I've seen. But at 9:30pm I loaded Carter man, my trusty side kick in the truck.
Carter 8-16-2022.JPG

Then we headed his way. I'm pretty glad I made this trip, and even happier I broke my no more springer comment! If he didn't tell me had shot it, I would have believed him. This gun is not Very Good, it is MINT! I could not even tell a scope had ever been put on it.

I mean this rifle is so close to new condition, I broke out the Canon 1D-X and my favorite 24-70 lens to get pictures. 1993 build date with the old T01 trigger, and the Diana emblem and Model 36 stamped receiver. I threw the old RWS 4x36 non AO scope on it and did some chronographing. I sighted in with Crow Magnums, a pellet that has always just shot so so in my other springers. But at 820.4 fps average after 10 shots, I decided to shoot ten more in the same group. I flyer in the first 10 on shot 3 I had to see if it was just the scope setteling down. Well for about 15 or 16 shots I thought it was, then another fllyer. But for 20 shots at 20 yards, From an old rifle that has hardly ever seen a pellet. I'm pretty stoked!

I shot it again off hand, and this gun is unruley! I have a vintage 2005 that shoots lights out, with the HO pg4 Vortek kit I put in it. So I'll see if this gun will settel down and if I can give it the same manners I gave the 34. If not, the 34 has a new dress! This stock was what drew me to look at this gun to start with. I figured if it was in excellent condition, I would just update the 34 stock to the deluxe the 36 comes with. Then just sell the 36 in the 34 stock. But we all know how this stuff is so addicting. I'll keep it as is if it shoots as good as the 34 when I get done tuning it. The same tune the 34 got made it a real lady instead of an unruly B!+(h. and it shoots that good offhand standing. just bracing my forearm against something.

I'll Move the 4-16x50 Airmax over to the 77K and put the 4-12x40 Airmax off of it on this 36 once I get the tune kit and tune this gun this weekend, I'll report back with an update, hopefully the 36 will quiet down quit jumping around and I'll eliminate that twang. I'll live with the speed where it is at, but I want it to shoot affhand standing as good as it shoots rested on a bag now.

Oh ya, and soon as I find the Laminated 77K in 177 Im looking for this, thats it for adding more air rifles,,, no more!;)

Huben Peanut in 177 caliber , Please

Sure would like to know if Huben is going to release a 177 Peanut slug? Anyone know of a contact site that I can request a 177 slug?
Very impressed with the 22 slug , Little on the heavy side but its the only accurate slug I have ever shot and I have a very large stockpile of brand name slugs .

RTI  RTI Prophet gen 1

I have a chance to buy a Prophet Performance gen 1. I need your input about the gun in general and gen 1 specifically. I'll likely only shoot pellets but might try slugs just for fun. I want a hot shooting 22.
Are there problems with the gen 1 or should I wait for a gen 3. There's only about $300 or so difference in this used performance and a new one.

PCP Rifle  SOLD Daystate L.E. Wolverine .22 (#50 of 50)

Sold - to a very smart guy in Florida. snooze ya loose.

$1200 TYD gets the Gun Only. It has been used very lightly and well kept (I am the 2nd owner). It is beautiful but it is used so there is normal use - cosmetic stuff.

$1600. TYD gets you the Hawk Scope with side wheel, 3D bottle clamp and moderator as attached and includes the Rowan SSL.

$1670.00 and i will include a nice hard case.

Since i believe in taking the best possible care of things i do preventive maintenance. I sent this beautiful Wolverine Limited Edition to Airguns of Arizona aprox 5 months back when i purchased it for a complete reseal / refresh so her internals are like new.

This gun is not regulated but the Harper Slingshot Valve is extremely air efficient with a low standard of deviation <5 fps by my FX pocket chrono.

Why would i sell such a beautiful airgun? I am all about Field Target and some Bench Rest, I am not a hunter so i just don't use a .22... sitting in the safe except to cycle and clean.

I have lots and lots of positive feedback so by with confidence.

Other  Scratches on HW97/TX200 style sliding breech

With the TX200/HW97/Diana 460, etc., style of breech opening, are fine scratches a common thing on the visible silver portion of the compression tube that slides back and forth? I've seen several guns that have them, including one of mine (HW97). They aren't very deep, but I'm surprised that such high-end springers don't have a better fit and polish of the metal-to-metal surfaces to prevent scratches from forming.

Umarex  Umarex Notos

Thought I'd show a group at 25 yds (shot today) from a new Notos I got from AOA a few days ago. This air rifle is accurate. It shoots the JSB Hades pellets really well. I've shot several groups around .2" at 25 yds since I've had it. Exceptional in my opinion for a $260 air rifle. My FX barely shoots better. Problems: I had to work the trigger over from plus 5# down to 2 1/2#. Took some time, but the second stage is very crisp and nice now. Second problem is the magazine. Finally got it to run two pellets through before jamming. That's the best I've got it to work so far. Ordered two different aftermarket mags. Hopefully they work better. Single shot tray works okay. 20PPC

FX  Delta Force Strong!!!

Had a really awesome experience over the last few weeks getting to know a fella by the name of Lodewyk Jansen van Vuuren. He owns and makes the Delta Force chassis which he was kind enough bring with him on his trip to RMAC. In a word, AWESOME!!! That’s all I got in a word, but to describe it in depth will take some time. There’s so many features and just great design in this chassis it is truly a pleasure to shoot with. I’ve had many MDT chassis, from the LSS to the ACC and this one is my favorite. Not to MDT can’t make a chassis, oh they can, and they are great, but I really like this chassis. I’m going to tease you a little and give a full write up later, with weight, length, adjustability and how it all works. In a few short mins, my DRS went from this,,, to this.

Other  Serpent Arms 28ga kills serpents!

Had a big gopher snake get caught in a rat trap tonight. It started going crazy and went after my cat dragging around the rat trap so to be humane I tested my new 28ga Serpent arms air shotgun!
1000011452.jpg
it blew apart the head pretty good, I took the rest off with a shovel. Normally I'm not up for killing harmless animals but it was badly injured from the trap so I thought it was more humane to put it out of its misery.

The shotgun is really loud! I yelled FIRE IN THE HOLE before i shot because neighbors were outside.

The trigger pull must be 20lbs, it's ridiculously hard to pull. But for pesting it does a great job! I've tried 00 buck in the shells but it can only fit 4 pellets and doesn't seem to be super accurate with big shot like 00 or 00+.

Edit to add: the 28ga does very well with small shot like #1 bird or similar loads. For taking small game or target shooting with birdshot is what this gun is really good for, I think.
