Need to know how to convert to HP air and what pressures to utilize? It is a .20 cal purchased from AOA last year. I have been using CO2 so far. Have some parts and butt stock but no tank. I own PCP guns and compressor and tank. Hand pump too. I just need to figure out the parts needed for HPA? Anyone wish to explain? TIA and Be Well, Bandito.

Anyone using the GX CS4 compressor to fill 45min tanks?
I'm filling one right now from empty with this compressor. I know it's a slow process. Been about 35 min so far and it just hit 1000. My question to guys using these is do you run them for a straight 4-5 hours or d you shut them down now and then and let them cool down a bit.
The air blowing out the fan feels fairly hot right now.

22cal. marauder in craftmans vit stock-5 mags, the two with blue tape needs the internal spring adjusted up one hole, the other ones cycle good - degassing tool - printed check piece - oem shroud cap - DFL moderator adapture1/2 x 20. okay, its been a while since ive been on here but im back for now. April of this year I purchased a red Talon SS in 25 caliber, and I love this thing. ive only had the gun for a short amount of time but I can safely say it has taken the number 1 spot in my collection. here's how I have mine set up, for the valve hat I am running the .166 hat, my power wheel is at 8 on the slot and 1 on the wheel, shooting the JSB Kings at 815-825 fps. I don't know exactly how many shots I get per fil but its more than enough for what im doing for sure, I can fill the gun to about 2900 PSI without valve lock and shoot down to about 1600 PSI with no noticeable change in POI. I have been using this gun for pest control mainly, including starlings, pigeons, chipmunks, red squirrel, and wood chucks. what surprised me about this gun is just how accurate it really is. is it more accurate than an FX? no probably not. however, it is more than accurate enough to take head shots on wood chucks at 45 yards. normally I would want a higher power gun for wood chucks to be on the safe side, but with this gun I am more than confident. I have taken 3 chucks with this gun so far this year and all of them were perfect shots right behind the eye and I tell you what, the gun delivers. at first I was thinking about putting an 18 inch 25 cal barrel in it and removing the SS kit to reach out to farther ranges, then I took out a pigeon at 121.3 yards...so needless to say the 12 inch barrel is staying. I could go on and on about this gun but instead, if any of you are looking into one of these or have any questions about them, just reach out or reply in here and ill do my best to help

shoot really good. In running at 960 ft./s. With a 23 grain patriot javelin. 1/4 inch groups @ 50 yards.
This is the 3rd barrel i have From them and they all shoot great.
A bit expensive, but well worth the money.

I am new to tuning, and I have watched a lot of YouTube videos, but I am not sure what to do.

First tests with the Chrono, and if it looks like I am far away from all the numbers, I see everyone else has.
This is how I measure the hammerspring, how do you measure so I use the same "standard"?

Well, I bought a couple “bargain” scba tanks off eBay. At first they seemed alright, then I had a valve fail. No big deal I thought, I’ll just take the opportunity to buy one of “air tanks for sale’s” nice valves in 7/8” to replace the Scott firefighter valve that failed… I’ll rebuild that valve to have as a spare in a pinch.

A word of caution, if you’re going to buy used tanks. Check them for moisture before you even think about filling them. This thing was loaded with water, and because of the scba valve design (has a small brass shaft sticking down into the tank) my attempts to turn the tank upside down to purge moisture which the design did not allow.

I cleaned the tank with a provided cleaner the seller sent with it, used piping hot tap water, rinsed twice, then boiled a kettle of water for the final rinse. That heated the tank enough to dry itself and with a charge of dry air purged the tank. It worked well.

Fortunately there were no corrosion issues, but with that much moisture, it would have headed that way if I hadn’t caught it.

I should have done this cleaning and inspection before my initial fill. Lesson learned. I am definitely a beginner here, making beginner mistakes.

Now I’m just waiting on my yong heng parts to arrive so I can fill the thing…hopefully it’s smooth sailing from here. All in all I can’t say buying old scba tanks is saving as much money as I thought it would.

The groundhogs keep coming, so I keep killing! In just a few hours today, I encountered five of these bastards and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight. I wanted to share with you something that happened to me , now, a month ago.
While filling my Crown mk2, I had "attached" my quick fill from my cf bottle to the filling port on the Crown, making "sure" that it was fully locked, so I thought. I started building pressure in the micro bore hose. At about 2500 psi , the qd came loose. Luckily, I make it a habit not to stand over the filling port while filling, just in case . Well, the hose did not hit me but the sound sure did.
I'm not sure what the malfunction was because the l locking sleeve was tight, so i thought. SOB, that was loud.
For a month now, my right ear has been plugged and it sounds like ocean breakers in that ear. I haven't sought medical help yet but in another month , I will.
Won't hurt to take time to put in foam ear protection while filling. I am.
Hopefully, this sharing will make you think about ear protection while filling your pcp. As much as I love the beach, it's never ending noise can get tiring.

I can't believe in doing this but I'm selling my custom Airforce Texans. This particular Texan is a one that I spent several years building but only took it on one hunting trip.

It comes with a 2-7 Sig Sauer SF scope, mad dog green stock, carbon fiber bottle, regulator, 4 box of FX Hybrids, 2.5 tins of strike pellets, full .357 Polymags, SIX Senaca Bolts (arrows) with field tips and small game bone crusher heads, and a hatsan case.

This Texan shoots arrows (bolts), slugs, & pellets well. It is regulated with a smaller plenum from PCP Tunes. The regulator was made for a Condor but works perfect with this rifle. For slugs, it shoots FX Hybrids better than any other gun I've ever shot them out of. I got great groups 50 and 75 years with both pellets and slugs.

As for power, with the small plenum, it can only achieve about 115fpe with a 160 bar plenum. Which is about 810-830fps with both pellets and slugs 10-12 shots filling up to 250 bar.

I have marked the perfect hammer load adjustment spot with blue paint.

Stock has a few dents I took pics of.

I took this gun on a pig hunt a April 2023, but ended up only shooting one pig with a arrow. It took down a 94lbs pig at 20 yards. Arrow head exited but did not pass all the way through. (I had to track it further than I like l.)

It did not trust the power of the gun with either hybrids or pellets, so therfore I only used the arrows. Since the gun shoots the same arrow power as my bow, and I like shooting my bow more, o that is why I'm selling it.
