Online I came across this item, it's a 20 position powerwheel for the Wildcat/Maverick rifles.

I am wondering if the 'plateau' of each position has enough bearing surface to support the Hammer spring screw.

Does anyone here have any experience with this item?

I have a Cricket original, I have tried to remove the manometer I have the tool to remove it but cannot hang on to the threaded area while turning the tool to remove the gauge, it is stuck. I removed the housing that the gauge is in and those are the threads I am holding. I have replaced the O-rings and am still getting some air out of the barrel. Could that air coming out of the barrel be from another O'ring? Any help is greatly appreciated. Dave

Through my research while trying to decide on a new gun, I noticed that some barrels are able to shoot both pellets and slugs well, while others are only for one or the other. What are the qualities of a barrel that lets it be versatile with ammo type and remain precise?

I will be attempting to use old gallon size milk and juice jugs filled with sand and or 5 gallon bucket filled with sand and old clothes. My concern is with my son when he shoots ,what's behind his target? I'm teach him to check his surroundings before he pulls the trigger, just incase he misses his intended target. I live on a corner lot three houses surround the back of my property.

Hello. Does your gun use a lot of air? I have a 700cc bottle and one shot is about 2bar. After leaving the projectile, you can still hear a loud air ejection. There is too much of it there, but loosening the hammer spring will cause unstable arrows and large fluctuations of the V0. Have you adjusted the valve spring tension in your Krait? I need guidance and I will be grateful for your help. Greetings to each of you

Just thought I'd share some details on a project I've just finished up....a 2078 bulk fill build.

Following an airgun lull I was looking for something to restart the ol' mojo, and remembered a bulk fill tube I'd come across 4 or 5yrs ago that was sitting on the shelf-



Basically a cylinder threaded either end, 1 complete valve (brass) and 1 valve body (S/S painted black for some reason).

The maker was trying to do a HPA build, but the valve was all wrong with its flat seat, 6.35mm throat and stem-



I did try it on Co2, but with the standard hammer spring maxed out it was horrific to cock, and only made 5fpe) so......it was modding time.....

I bored the brass body out and turned up a PEEK seat and delrin poppet (matched/ lapped at 45deg).....



.....and converted the other S/S valve body into a check valve/ fill port, with matching probe-



The insert in the fill valve was left long so I could use it as a fixing point for the end barrel support later on-



With this new valve a lighter hammer was required, so turned one up from oilon (similar to mds) with a PEEK striker face and S/S core, increased throw and weighing in at 30gr-



Running negative preload and aided by the new oversized cocking bolt, its now 1 finger cocking.....



......and producing upto 12fpe (at 18deg C) through a modded/ sleeved 20" .177 crosman barrel.

Also made up a fairly basic offset RVA to make things easier during the testing phase.....



.....and after some polishing and powder coating (light texture satin black, on my little tribostatic home set up) the action was sorted-



This just left the stock! I did strip back the original TH stock, only to find the most bland and unattractive lump of beech you've ever seen in your life, so following some work to the pistol grip, and a little sharpening up around the edges, it went of to a mates body shop for a lick of paint.....BMW/Mini 'Hot chocolate metallic'-



Absolutely over the moon with how this has come out, and after giving the crosman barrel a fair bit of attention, it stacks ftt's at 25m (bottom shot a sighter, then 5 or 6 in group above) -



Looking forward to some warmer weather and trying this out to 50m next.

I've owned several pcp pistols but not really satisfied with their performance but that was 4 or 5 years ago.

Without searching indefinitely can someone please tell me what is a good pcp pistol that's at least .30 cal but preferably .45 cal pcp pistol?

I have wildlife predator problems occasionally that it'd be quicker, maybe, to use a handgun with a laser or light rather than a rifle.

Don't necessarily need a semi-auto but for sure not interested in a single shot. Racoons are mean and tough.

Been away from the airgun scene for awhile and just got back into it again, so many rifles to choose from these days, had a lot of air rifles over the years, owned pretty much all of the top tier brands but I always got rid of them for some reason or another and seemed to only keep the bullet proof, easy to work on, practical and functioning air rifles like my Ataman's and Jsar raptors which I still have.. my atamans are still holding air and functioning after 3yrs of shooting and wear and tear, never replaced an o-ring yet except for the fill probes. After searching for the last week and getting overwhelmed with all the new stuff out these days I decided to go with a Taipan Veteran 2 from Talon Tunes, I have never owned one before and always wanted one but never purchased one over the years, had a friend on here swear by them and really never heard anything negative about them. can't wait to get it and try it out, hopefully its a slug shooter too
