Hi everyone. It's not exactly a problem, but it is quite annoying. The cocking lever on my RAW HM1000X is very loose. Let me explain — it moves backward with the slightest touch, separating from the block before actually starting to cock the spring. I'm not sure if it's due to excess lubrication or a defect. Any suggestions?

Curious if anyone here has one (or more). I have three.. has anyone had to go into the internals? Looks like a special tool to take the barrel tube off. Haven’t had any o-ring issues yet but may have to go into them in the future.

Looking to pick up a squirrel gun, which is a topic well discussed but before spending on an hw50, can anyone tell me if this model was produced under a different label as well? As beeman or diana, can't seem to find,... or a well spec'd alternative. thanks

Took out the Vet II Tactical (550mm) today to do a shot count. I've been shooting this since end of March 2025, bought brand new from TalonAirguns. I've been shooting ZAN 20gr .218 and H&N 21gr .218 slugs between 890-900. Both of these slugs are very accurate even at lower speeds of 900, about 5/8" at 50 and right at MOA at 100. I could shoot them faster but at that speed it also shot JSB Jumbo Monster Light pellets 20.83 at sub MOA (extremely accurate!). Great speeds for 20gr projectiles out of this Vet. However, I wanted to see how it would shoot pellets exclusively, and how many shots could I get off of a single fill. Filled to 250 (480cc CF bottle), lowered hammer spring to shoot 18gr pellets at 915 and began shooting. Very boring task, took about 20 minutes using the single shot tray. Shot at my gong at 50 yds. 3 shots did not record, but all in all I had a total of 182 shots from 250 bar down to 110 bar. The reg is set at 135 bar and you can hear the difference in sound once you are off the reg, however, the velocity stayed in the 34 ft. lb range for another 25 shots. Meaning, I got about 155 shots on the reg at 34 ft. lbs and another 25 off the reg. Quite impressive. I'm sure there are other guns can get a few more shots with a 480cc CF bottle, but that's a lot of shooting especially at 34 ft. lbs. When I was shooting 20-21gr slugs, I was getting about 100 shots on a fill. I've been thinking about putting a 300cc CF bottle on just to see if it makes a difference in carrying and handling. The 480cc bottle is pretty large.

Been rocking the GX-CS3i since December. It's doing great refilling 3 guns. Re-lubed it at 5 hours, will do it again at 10 hours and do a complete inspection. My GX filter will be here Friday (tomorrow). I've been using the little fat gold filter for now... Also, I don't use the auto shut-off, I don't trust it, once it gets to its fill pressure, I release the relief valve (moisture trap) and let it run for about 30 seconds and then let the fans run for about 5 mins extra to help cool it down. I never run it for more than 4 mins at a time just to keep the internals cool. I'm sure everyone does it their way.



Taipans always impress me, this is my 3rd one and while they are a little beefy in weight, the triggers are perfect, the cocking (at least on the Vet II) are crazy smooth, and so far, the CZ unchocked barrels are great. My .25 Vet I also has a CZ unchocked barrel and shoots pellets and slugs accurately.

Just thought I'd share.

Received this today in original box with hang tag and sealed paperwork. It is claimed to be an employee only offering of some sort. It was dry and stiff cocking and pumping but that has been taken care of with a liberal dose of secret sauce. While waiting for it to arrive I was able to learn from Tyler of CT Airguns whom this gun came to its last owner through, that he had acquired three of these from a collection. All three were exactly the same including a very odd number 1 serial number. I have noticed a few other interesting things. These three guns all have Sheridan tapered pump arms which no other Transition or earlier guns had. They had Williams sights like the Anniversary guns of 1987. Those that theorize that these were made made with leftover anniversary tubes after the Crosman purchase would be wrong, the tubes on the anniversary guns were Nickle plated and then brass plated to hide the solder joint. These guns are polished brass with a very clean and visible solder joint. This would certainly fix the peeling brass issue that plagued the anniversary guns. That’s all I have been able to figure out. If any of the experts here know anything else I would love to hear from you.

If your considering going down the "rabbit hole" of 12 ft. lb. pistol Field target shooting you should consider the FT Marauder Pistol offered by Rich at Airgun Revisions. He basically makes a 1720T ( not in production any more )out of a Marauder pistol with a .177 cal. LW barrel, regulator and tuned to just under 12 ft lbs to be completely legal and ready to go out of the box, and they are just shy of $800. Not only does he offer a good pistol but he is a great guy who is easy to communicate with and will listen to your wants and needs. You can get him on the phone and he will call you back if you leave a message. I can't say enough, at the end of March I discovered my pistol I had purchased from him about 1 year ago had a leak and with the Texas ROT coming up at the end of April I was in a real bind as I didn't want to send it off before the competition. I called Rich to let him know I would be sending it after the match, He asked me to check a few things and if that was it he could mail parts to fix the problem. I did the checks and the leak was still there so I let him know. I had a shipping label sent within 1/2 hr with a promise of 1 week turnaround on the repair. A week later I got a tracking number from him and the pistol was on its way back. a couple of weeks of practice and I was able to place 2'nd with it at the TX ROT. The consistency of the performance is amazing as well as the accuracy.

The add on grips and for-end are from Conrad at Voidone on E-bay and really help with the control of the pistol and the palm swell help in stability on the knee for shooting. Conrad worked with me and custom printed the for-end to my specs. They come in a bunch of colors and the package was like $75. The Hawke 4x16 Airmax scope sports a wheel from Jody at DMPC 3D Printing.He also was very accommodating and got the wheel out to me in just a couple of days. He makes really good wheels for the Hawke Airmax scopes.
The 1'st place shooter used a Benjamin 1720T which makes the top two scores, 54/60 and 52/60 from Benjamin air pistols.

I have a Drozd Blackbird for sale! It will include the original barrel and a pair of the harder breech o-rings. The barrel is from a qb-78 and the shroud is a leftover from a FX impact. I wired the solenoid with high amp connectors for ease of takedown. It powers up and runs perfectly from an electrical standpoint, however it will need one of those breech o-rings installed. The control board is stock. I have never actually shot this one as I was always using the Drozd bumblebee with the single mag. The only option for gas at this point is the three capsule 12 gram affair. You can plumb in a fitting in place of the Co2 array and attach a tank. I'm asking 700$ plus shipping cost. I've been reading everything I can find about the Prophet Perfromance first gen, and can't find what I'm looking for. I'm jonsing to buy one in 25cal and want to know from those of you who have them.
Are they comfortable to shoot? They look like the sharp edges and the mag sticking up would be uncomfortable, but from videos, and reviews, no one seems to want to touch that aspect. Also, I think there was some complaints on the sharp edge of the receiver at the top of the grip that digs into your hands. Is this any real concern? I loved the comfort of shooting the Impact, but don't think I'm up for all the hassle of problems. Don't get me wrong, I'm an FX lover, with a Crown and Dream Tac, just don't like the M4 issues. Some have complained about the side lever, saying it's looks fragile, and that it's floppy??

I'd be buying the Prophet 25 for pellets only for long distance. I'd really like to have the 22LR, but can't find a deal on one yet, so the 25 is my second choice, and maybe later a barrel change, even though that looks like quite an expensive mission.

Anyway, any insight you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
