About a year ago I tried to buy a new rifle from Baker Airguns and things just did not go very well. I got pretty upset and posted my grief here on the Forum.

Well over two weeks ago I was looking for a .177 cal Marauder and found a used one at Baker Airguns on a Saturday night. I decided to go ahead and make the purchase via their website. I received confirmation and shipping information first thing Monday morning. Received the rifle within the week and after a close inspection I decided it was not the gun for me. I called and explained my situation and without any hesitation I was told to send the gun back for a full refund. Here I must add that they expressed much concern and apologized for any and all inconvenience this has caused me. I have to give Baker Airguns a Five Star rating for their customer service.

I also apologize for my hasty decision for making the negative posting here on the Forum. This Forum serves our air gun community in more than one way and it is very important that we all do our very best to maintain a fair, honest and positive support whenever we can.

I was on a conference call, when I saw this guy climb in one of my trees. I strategically placed my computer to the side as I slowly open the window. I took him off hand. I hit right where I was aiming. I always go for the neck, figuring if I’m a little bit high I get the head and if I’m a little bit low I get the CV. Full disclosure, my elbow was resting against the side of the window frame.

This was a big one.

So was having a funny poi change out of the blue a few weeks ago, and fought it tring to figure out what was the cause.

Doing all the common hw things to do and same ol results . Like shooting good and out of the blue go 1/2" left then maybe go back good every one or so shots.

Then near my wits end scratching my head bald i picked it up , cocked and loaded snapped it closed and went to take aim and the lolly post was gone...lol

Well well... Lucky i got the stick magnetic and found the lolly post and in 3 or 4 attempt's with different glues and using another unused rectangle post as a new base with got it to stick ( knock on wood) under many shots recoil or i should say so far so good .

Ya, dont guess id ever expect that post to break off like that or it was a defective somehow.

Anyway forgot to picture the glue job lolly post but its in and been testing it out today under this glue job.

Heres the broke insert ring minus the post part..

Looking to trade my .30 prophet for a Huben .25. Gun works as it should. I cant get used to the left hand lever. Has a few scratches from hunting on the tube and a little on the LDC adapter. Have only shot JSB 44 grain at 900 to 905 but plenty room to go up for slugs. Looking for nice Huben.25. Message me for any questions or more pics if needed. I have been talking to a few airgunners after seeing what happened to DonnyFLs website change recently. Looks like we might be in the beginning to the end of legal over the counter airgun moderator sales....

I've purchased a 1st gen .22 cal Maruader, not in possession yet. I've been scrambling for a week on how to power this and thought I could use a free scuba tank which as you know and now I know they can only fill to 3000 and the scba shop told me I wouldn't be happy with it after filling the gun once or twice, so I've decided to buy a compressor. I was originally gonna buy a Tuxing 032 which are 1109 now on Amazon but I think the 031 would work just as well for filling a rifle? I'd be saving several hundred. What else would I need to buy in order to get started with this setup?

I just can't wrap my head around any of these lesser priced compressor's no matter how many reviews I read on them. I'm aware that a real compressor is over 4,000, that's not gonna happen. A first time shooter probably needs that guppy tank but the filling station is an hour away for me!

I'm looking to sell a super nice FX Impact M3 Bronze Standard 480cc in 600mm (Superior liner) 0.22 caliber w/ 1 magazine, FX stackable moderator, bipod, stainless steel bolts and factory FX hard case. I am the original owner of this Impact and bought it new from Penchetta in AZ; it has been one of the best shooters I've ever owned and my go-to rifle ever since I got it. It is insanely accurate and consistent and is currently set up to shoot the JSB 18.13g pellets through the 600mm Superior liner at ~930-940fps with the 2nd regulator only set at 80bar. It's got a very efficient tune and has plenty of power to spare - you can leave everything else the same and just turn the valve adjuster out one full turn out and you'll easily get the fps up to 1,000fps . . . a 3/4 turn of the valve adjuster in and you'll have it just under 900fps and almost silent. At its current setting, the FX stackable mod is surprisingly effective and this rifle is already very, very quiet.

Rifle is in fantastic condition as shown in the photos; I mostly shoot from inside my home office and very occasionally walk around the backyard with it - meaning that it's never truly been in the field on any real hunt. It holds air and functions perfectly. I will include the original sales receipt from Penchetta and will be happy to assist in any warranty issues that might come up in the future (rifle has been perfect and had zero issues to date).

[This rifle currently has the standard 480cc bottle on it but I do have the smaller 300cc bottle if you prefer a more compact/lighter setup. Bottle decals can be easily removed if you don't want them.]

I have a Texan 308 that shoots great, no issues what so ever. I have the 308 LSS and it's basically the same gun ,just has the shrouded barrel. So I don't need 2 of the same gun. Other than some minor tweaks to my VP when I got it I really hadn't made any changes to it. I never even thought about touching the micro adjustment of the hammer spring either.

With it being cold with 30 mph winds the last few days and after watching AEAC video and going through this thread.

I decided to switch from the pellet port to the slug port and start from scratch just for the experience.
Initial tune was pellet port, 2nd reg at 120 bar, wheel at 7 and upon checking the micro adjustment was 3/4 turn ccw. I was getting 893 with 34 gr JSB's..
The thing that got my attention in the above post was the possibility of achieving the same speeds with lower pressure/hammer.

I flipped the port, lowered the 2nd reg to 105 bar, wheel at 6, micro cw all the way. Low 800's.

After working my way through a few things with the hammer spring I ended up with slug port, 2nd reg at 112, wheel at 7, micro adjustment at 1/2 turn ccw.
30 shot string resulted in
Avg FPS 910.13
Max spread of 11
SD 3.54
I was very pleased with this but......decided since it's simple to turn the wheel down to 6
30 shot string resulted in
Avg FPS 908.93
Max Spread of 7
SD 2.94

Going down to 6 was a large FPS drop.

I originally was going for an FPS of around 900 but overshot my reg adjustment going from 105 to 110 and after a few dry fires it moved up from 110 to 112 where it has stayed.
If this wind ever dies down I'll do that final confirmation and sight it in to check it's grouping. I also want to see how much improvement there is in shot count per fill.

The barrels really get confusing Most compacts have the 400 or the 510 mm barrel, LW or CZ barrels new barrels will not be out until april of 03.
Now I am not sure of the big bottle RTI Prophet I have heard some of the Prophet II have been released with the new pellet slug barrels , People need to put down what gun they have what barrel they have keeps me from getting confused .
And the FX people just thought they were confused , LOL

I have a under lever air rifel and it dosent cock when i open the barrel and push on it to cock it after some pressure the lever just slips from inside the gun where its connected at the spring i check and the place where connect and pushes the metal is king of broken so i want to know what part i have to change

My winter hobby is shooting in the basement at 8 yards from a bench with my Weihrauch HW44 in 177. I am determined to get at least one group that measures right at 4.52mm with 5 shots. Whether it's possible or not is not the issue. It's the hobby - gives me a mission for these cold, snowy Northern Michigan days. Anyway, I am closing in on that elusive group as shown below.


The lower left bull is the closest I've gotten so far. I'm using QYS Chinese match wad cutter pellets 8.18 grains. I also use JSB match hand sorted 8.26 grain wad cutter pellets.

If you’re looking to trade for your impact barrel…just keep your shroud and I will keep my shroud and we will just send the barrels+probes without the shrouds. The Impact shroud doesn’t fit the wildcat/Maverick.

FYI edit: Impact probe will not fit in Maverick! So if you have a .25 cal Impact barrel, that’s the only one I can trade for since my probe is a .25 cal.

All are superior liners.

Just came into possession of one. Out of the box , first thing that hit me was how light it was! Felt like 5 lbs. Feels rock solid. Going to have to learn reg adjustment and hammer spring adjustment as well. look forward to shooting it next week, weather permitting.

I am new to this and just trying to wrap my head around some of these compressors being many thousands of dollars. Is the Amazon ones around $500 ok for beginners or are they junk?

Does anyone know any places (farms, livestock places, homes) in central Minnesota that need help getting rid of pests? I really want to start a Youtube channel for pest control, but I have no idea how to go about finding people/farmers/owners who allow or need help with such. Now, I can just shoot for fun, doesn't have to be for Youtube. I love those videos of airgunning for rats, ground squirrels, groundhogs, or anything that crawls that drives the farmers nuts.

Any ideas?

A good friend of mine has a son who is getting into airgun’s. Who has asked for my guidance. He also is build he’s own YouTube channel.
