Could This Be Worth The Risk?

Admittedly it's a knock off. Though sometimes knock offs can be pretty dang good. This is a knock off of a $3000 scope that I'd like to have. But it'll be a cold day in Hades before I spend $3000 on a basic optical scope. Any of y'all tried one of these? Given the price disparity, might it be worth a shot?

Number 1 accessory to improve Accuracy beyond 50 yds?

Alright guys. I have a question for all the veteran PCP'ers. Yes yes I'm a total NOOB! I'm very happy with the performance of my PCP gun and it's accuracy at 50-60yds. Consistently hitting spinners the size of dimes and quarters at 50-60 yards. I'd say I have it fairly dialed in. Unless I'm putting some sort of spotter marking my targets I'm getting them lost in the wood because you literally cant see them with out a scope. I have them placed all over at various distances.

I want to up the ante a little. I want to go further out to about 80-100yds but with my current setup I have some slight shakes on target. I use either sandbags or a crappy bipod and table to help support. Spotting scope and range finder to determine distance. What's the answer here? Do I need a bench rest? Do I need a better bi-pod? Do I need to stop drinking 3 cups of coffee. What's the best way to control the shakes when shooting lets say 80-100 yards? I haven't found the limits of this rifle yet but I think it should be pretty accurate up to 100 yds if not further. In pellet form it likes JSB 18g.

Also is there a good bi-pod that's under $50? again I dont know what I dont know so help me set my expectations. I bought this bipod off ebay and it's total junk!

This is what my base looks like. House sits on a hill so I'm always shooting down into the woods. I have a table, spotting scope, range finder, sand bags, crappy bipod and decent scope

SETUP:
Gun- Kalibrigun Cricket 2
Scope- Primary Arms SLx 4-14x44 FFP Rifle Scope
Table
Sand Bags
bipod

Double Case?

So I recently got a wood huben k1 .25 from Kelly I haven't had testing time behind it yet but liked it so much I sold my leshiy 2. Recently I got a great deal on a synthetic k1 in .22 and man these will be a great pair. I really think with the range they can do low to high they will be a great pesting hunting pair. I am trying to decide if I should get a case that will fit them both so when I go out with them I can cover pretty much anything. Has anyone ever been out and something came out and you wished you had a different caliber or power. Or just case them separately and take when needed.

RAW HM1000x .25 cal experiences for 100y bench rest

I am thinking about swapping my .22 HP Poly barrel and pellet probe for a .25 cal barrel, shooting MK1’s ( 33g) at 100 yards. Talked to Martin, and he has had good luck with both the .30 cal and .25 cal barrels. Both have advantages and trade offs. My RAW .22 HP shoots very accurately at 50 yards with the JSB 25.39 RDs, but too many fliers at 100 yards. Martin confirmed same with his experience shooting MRDs.

I am a casual bench rest shooter, but I have gotten away from shooting the 100 yard EBR targets and have mostly shot N50 practice cards at 50 yards.

I am looking for any feedback from current RAW .25 or .30 cal owners who use their RAW for 100 yard benchrest. How is the accuracy with either? Please share any information about pellets used, velocity, any mods / tuning.

Just looking for some user experiences with either the .25 or .30 cal at 100 yards.

Thanks.

Huma moderators

Looking to try a different moderator for my RTI Prophet compact 177 510mm barrel. I have a tatsu that's for a 25-30 cal.
(I swap from a 177 to a 25 when it's squirrel season.. hence why I have the 25-30 mod for it)
It does a nice job when I have it set up in 25 but not so good set up for 177 (slugs) I was wondering what your thoughts were on the human 30mm moderator.. any good? Or any other suggestions?

Mystery Machine I got no clue...need help to identify.

My Wife brought this "thing" home from an auction knowing I like air guns...I have no idea what even makes this "thing" work...it has a rifled barrel appx
.357 Dia bore the spring slides in the back and is captured by a sear and released by the trigger to the rear...the tank, if it is a tank, doesn't look like hpa to me but it isn't a firearm either, the only mark on the "thing" is the wasp...no makers mark no nothing except on the rubber grip. Maybe some parts are

AG advertising on PB youtube channels?

Yep - for the first time today I just heard it. Was watching Iraqveteran888's video released today and within the first 2 minutes he is giving a sponsored ad for Pyramyd Air. There's always so many threads on here about when is airgun regulation coming - and honestly I ignore most of it because I just don't see any of that changing on the Federal level. But at the State and City level there could always be restrictions and impact to our hobby.

Without fanning the flames I'm curious if this type of advertising ruffles anyone's feathers. Please try to keep the convo civil.

barrel length question

I am wondering what are the determining factors for barrel length when trying to achieve the highest degree of accuracy in a given shooting discipline?

ADD to thread: with this question of barrel length also comes questions like rate of twist? choke? Free floating? Steel Bedded? Polished? and probably several other things i don't yet know about or haven't even heard about?

The reason i am asking, is i see shorter barrels used in FT applications and longer Barrels used in bench rest which leads me to believe at some point "more barrel length will hinder a field target shooter" and start to "benefit a bench-rest shooter".

I understand hunting in the woods / stalking prey where more barrel is more chance to snag things and make noise

i did find this thread on barrel length and speed of pellet: https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/min-barrel-length-vs-max-fpe.1274983/

SOLD Taipan Veteran .22

This rifle has a Lothar Walther barrel and is currently shooting JSB 18gr pellets at 880fps. Proven to be accurate with JSB 15.89, 18.13 and H&N 18gr. I have use slugs in this gun in the past and it did good with .2165 17.5gr NSA slugs.

The stock the gun sits in is a factory black stock. Aluminum pic rail is attached at the front. The stock has had some minor touch up paint on a few places.

Rifle has carbon fiber wrap around the shroud and fill cover. Planned to do the entire air tube as well but never got around to it. There are some minor marks on the rifle but nothing that stands out. Absolutely no gouges or scratches.

The shroud does have the 1/2 UNF adapter installed.

Comes with 4 magazines, 4 Orion 3D printed mag holders, and one fill probe.

Asking $850 shipped CONUS.

Pay pal FF preferred so we may avoid extra fees. I have plenty of positive feedback and successful transactions with many members. No trades please.

Thanks AGN

FX PANTHERA - .22 Cal 600mm - OUTSTANDING ACCURACY! - Who else has one? What are your thoughts?

When I first got my 600mm Panthera, I had quite a few people ask me why I didn't just get the full length 700mm. I have my reasons, and I think I made the absolute right choice with the 600mm, even if I had to wait a while longer to get it. I did a short little 3 minute video (below) with some insane shots at 190 yards.

Who else go the .22 600mm? What are your results? Best slugs? Best slug diameters? Settings? What is working for you?

I am shooting 30.5gr Zans and 30gr Gen2 Javelins to great effect. I am at 22 on the power wheel, micro adjuster about 3.75, and I'm running at 150 bar for right around 980fps with these weights.
