If you were going to buy a new PCP .177cal Rifle to only shoot Wadcutter Pellets at only 10-Meter targets what would you choose and why?

It was discussed a couple of years ago, but surely some advancements have been made in slug and barrel technology. With G1 BCs considerably better than other slugs and even .22 RF, you’d think shooters would be all the over them like white on rice…? Manufacturers also…. WTF?

Curious as to how many people own a chronograph? In new and wasnt planning on owning one but if I want to swap out amunition or try some slugs out this piece of equipment is a nescisity correct? No way to dial in your FPS with out one is there?

Group below is 5 shots at 50 yards (yeah I was shocked too; I shot another like it today as well, but forgot to take my phone). Single loading. (Circle is nickel size, sorry for bad camera quality). 8.4 grain JSBs at 905 FPS (I’ve de-tuned but can bring it to exactly where it was for this kind of accuracy).

At the moment I am watching a Mountain Sport Airgun video titled Airgun Tree Squirrel Catch and Cook Campout.
I have watched quite a few of this gentleman’s videos ( sorry, don’t know his name). All the videos are great but this
one for some reason to me just stands out. I am so impressed with his talent. The effort and detail he puts into his
videos is so impressive. I can’t imagine the amount of time he puts into preparation, scene set up, music selection
and editing. Just outstanding.

Here’s the one I was watching. Beautiful scenery.

Sent these two CPHPs groups this evening, the first group, the wind was stronger and me unsteadier. Had dinner, took a shower then sent group #2. Both in the dark using my green light and IR.

All original except for the muzzle brake and carbon fiber barrel sleeve which I installed. I'm the second owner and it's had less than 3 tins through it since new. Very good condition Functional in all aspects but it has been hunted with so it may have some very slight pressure marks...but nothing that I can easily see. Included is the Leupold VX-Freedom 3-9 EFR in perfect condition mounted via a one-piece mount w/ stop pin. Typical Weihrauch quality and performance, it's been very accurate out to 25 meters that I have shot it but I find my HW50 renders this one null. I only removed the recoil pad/buttplate to experiment with LOP, it is included. Included are also the pellets shown...both full tins. PayPal or Zelle, no trades, $565 TYD in CONUS DM for more photos...

Sound: Little bark to it so may not be small yard friendly if your proximity to other homes are close.

My 'zero barrel' does not like to shoot JSB 44's at 905-915fps but....

@ 888 fps it is able to shoot ragged one hole 5 shot groups at 30 yards. My final shot was at a plastic zip tie attached to a green metal fencing post at 38.5 yards one shot dead center of triangle post snapping zip-tie and splitting the JSB about right in half. very impressed so far with accuracy ( see images below ) Yes Yes I know need to stretch her legs out....




Gauges are 1/8 NPT if you are looking to put on digital gauges like myself in near future.

Things I have found out Skout is working on:

1- Rail system for bipods

2- Shut off Valve and Regulator from the bottle ( shutoff valve) - the rifle was designed to to release slight bit of air in back chamber { I do not have a clear understanding on this design so I cannot give everyone proper information on that at this time} with that said the rifle over time will empty out over a month time. This is where the shutoff valve will help in holding air in main bottle when there is extended amount time when not in use. Bottle regulator - help in lowering the main pressure coming in to HI & LOW regulators so they can be even more efficient considering they all work at much lower pressures than the bottle when filled to 300 bars.

Selling a HW100 carbine with upgraded ($200?) AM aluminum cylinder for better balance and increased shot count. During filling, the new cylinder has a buzz between 1000 AND 2000 PSI, then it quiets down. I tried multiple fill orings, but still gets that buzz. Holds air forever, so I learned to ignore with the buzz during refill. I shoot 6 magazines per refill. Has Tanto moderator that is compact and quiet.
Very nice walnut stock. Comes with 2 factory magazines. I used this for indoor shooting so it has not been hunted.

DVOR has these on sale for the next two days and seven hours. I ordered one to put on my 177 Hw95.. I have one that's all banged up that I use as a shop test mule. It's been on multiple R1s and dozens of other springers and keeps ticking. It's why I posted this in traditional airguns forum.

Technically the Vantage line is only rated for 12fpe springers. They will still warranty them. My experience with them is excellent as long as there's no barrel droop issues.

M3 .22 cal shooting Baracuda Match 21grn at 925fps 600mm barrel 1st reg 150 2nd reg 100 have a great tune and is MOA out to 100yds semingly over night a problem arose my first 5 shots start at 880 n build 925 then stay consistent cleaned valve rod hammer spring hammer and plenum all good still problem could this be regulater problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Reg pressures rock solid

I'm in an urban area on 1-acre, and Racoons are constantly digging up my mulch beds. I catch 'em on a Ring camera and they're always close up to the house. I wouldn't be able to walk out my patio door without spooking them off, so I want to draw them out away from the house out by my shooting backstop which is 30 yards away so I can shoot them from the patio.

Any recommendations on what to put out there to attract them?
