Cody here, First post!
Grew up in tx predator and wing shooting. New to air guns, bow hunter for 15 years shoulder issue and all the prairie dogs have me excited about making the plunge and have narrowed down to the following.

I’ve never been much of a paper puncher, more into hunting.

Been watching and reading and have come to this so far

fx impact 3 .22 for bird squirrel plinking and a .35 barrel kit for p dogs possibly fox small varmits
I like the barrel change option simplicity/long track record but not sure it would be worth retuning sighting etc please share your thoughts.

impact 3 with multiple barrels or seperate caliber dynamic or panthera.

Thinking an aea hp or element in .50 cal for up close and personal hog ground blind tree stand hunts or possibly the shorter Zues .72

Nomad compressor open to recomendations

need insight on a refil bottle or bottle sizes.

more interested in quality than budget, steer me in the right direction.

PCP Rifle  SOLD Reduced Taipan Compact 22

Hey guys, selling this almost new Taipan 22 compact CZ Barrel for a friend. He purchased the gun new a couple months ago from Tony, and decided to go a different route. He asked me to list it for him.

Gun is in my possession and ready to be shipped. These are getting hard to find especially since talon tunes it out of them- and now that version 2 is out.. good luck getting a new original vet.

Gun will come with factory box, 2 mags, single shot tray and fill probe.

has a few small marks on the stock but in my opinion gun is a 9 out of 10. I haven't shot it, its just sitting in the box waiting for its new home. I wanted to keep it and buy it from my buddy, but my mutant has my attention and I don't really need another compact.....

Nonetheless, asking price shipped to CONUS is 1100 PPFF OBO. no trades, he just wants to fund a boat.

HW/Weihrauch  Vertical stringing for HW 35E

Shot tight 5 shot group yesterday with 177 H&N FT 4.51 at 20 yards but today a 5 shot 2" nice vertical string down the middle with same pellet. What causes that? On the internet, just talks about firearms vertical stringing. One post says you get it when you pull the trigger at different times in your breathing cycle. I am sure it is something I am not doing consistently but cannot figure it out. Thanks in advance for all replies.

Online only sellers

Hopped in car to check out what I thought was an air gun store, drove 2 t hours to get there only to find it’s not a brick and mortar store, website listed address, store hours, and phone number phone went to voicemail ,had their sign on door but it wasn’t a store. 3 hrs to get home because of traffic so if you only sell online PLEASE POST on your website no walk-in sales.

AirMaks Arms  I didn't mean to

Recently picked up a Krait and what a fantastic rifle. Got a chance to shoot some yesterday, accurate and not an air hog which both make me happy. Sooooo, what do I do but come home and tinker. Bad me.
Just wanted to switch the plenum guage to a digital one I had for fine tuning. Dumped my air and swapped it out. Then I notice the bottle guage was crooked and wanted to make it straight, bigger oring should work. Oops didn't work so put it back the way it was and air up. Now after trying 4 orings, couple different sizes and even trying the guage that I replaced it leaks soon as it gets to 50+ bar...
Local hardware store has a good assortment but are they the right type, (rubber compound?) I just don't know. Anyone have an idea or do I wait for U/A to open and order replacement one's.
Really like the Airmaks guns and would love to get this sorted
Thanks Greg

PCP Rifle  SOLD Georgia Airguns Charlie Frear Power Tuned Kalibrgun Cricket .25 for sale

Just back from Charlie Frear at Georgia Airguns, my .25 Kalibrgun Cricket. Charlie installed a 1/2" moderator adapter in the shroud and painted the shroud black. He also performed his proprietary power tune, installing a power plenum, porting etc. The rifle has been totally resealed.

The return test target is as found below. Very light and minimal handling marks barely evident on the Frear painted shroud. Everything else is virtually perfect.

Atlas bipod included.

I have approximately $1,500 in this rifle without optics. It simply isn't my "thing" as I am proned to really like long barreled bench rifles and I don't hunt any more. Offering first-come for $875 shipped within the continental US - PayPal F&F (check my ratings) without optics. With Element Helix 6-24x50 SFP scope and FX No Limit Picatinny mounts/rings (all like new), add $450.

PCP Rifle  NLA Powerful .25 cal Bulpup and a free .25 cal rifle

Will Piatt tuned Evanix MAX-ML .25 @ 65 FPE with the JSB 34gr, I will also ship with the Original spring if you like to tame it down to 55 FPE or less.

If you buy this gun you can have a Free JTS .25 Standard ( if you read members opinion on this gun you see a lot of positive reviews ) just pay shipping.

so for 500 bucks plus shipping you can get a Hammer of a Pup with a free good 30mm scope and a second good gun.

For an extra 20 bucks ( towards the shipping ) I can even leave the scope on the gun

SAM_0010.JPG

N/A  A very good way to improve the sight through the scope.

This Velcro around the back of the scope (super easy and cheap), provides a shadow around the scope that allows your eye to have a more clear vision of reticle and target.

And also is very easy to move front or rear to adjust focus and powers of the scope.

N/A  Coyote gun choices?

Hello,
I am wanting a big bore for coyote hunting during the day. These will be called coyotes and I might try some night hunting as well. I've always hunted with powder burners and I'm wanting to do the Air Rifle now. Now I don't want a high fill gun pressure wise like 4500 psi. I would prefer around 3000. I want to shoot slugs and I want it pretty flat shooting. Most of my called coyotes are killed at 100 to 125 yards or less. To be honest I mostly kill them with a shotgun so 50 yards in usually. I don't need a high shot count 3 to 6 would be fine before I have to fill up. I was looking at a Texan in 30 CAL or 257 or a bulldog in 357. My biggest bother with the Texan is how long it is. I'm open to any suggestions and want to hear what you guys have to say who have done this on a regular basis. I have tanks to fill gun. I honestly don't want anything bigger than a 357. We can't use them for deer in OK so don't need bigger.

Thanks
Jon

HW/Weihrauch  HW 57…???

Hi Folks,
Can anyone tell me anything about the Weihrauch HW57?
It is an under lever, but I’ve ever heard of one.
I am familiar with the HW97 and the HW77 (I think those are the correct numbers) which are both under levers and are superbly accurate, but I know nothing about a HW57.
I have the opportunity to buy one, at what I think might be a good price… 🤔
Are they still in production?
How does it compare to the two other Weihrauch underlevers?
Many thanks,
Pete.

Traditional Rifle  SOLD Selling Diana 460 Magnum .177 cal w/Vortek Spring $350 SHIPPED!

Hello there. I’ve got this really nice and unique Diana 460 magnum. Need to sell fast. $425 $350 shipped. Nice wood stock. Unlike any 460 I’ve seen.
Has a Vortek spring (12 FPE). Nice muzzle brake too. Also has a magnetic lever catch. Trigger is really crisp. The previous buyer had intended to compete against the HW97Ks and TX200s with it. I never got around to shooting it much (as I’ve been too busy with PCPs). Will be shipped in a soft case. Scope not included.

Help with ideas for baffle design for a very small moderator

I recently got some very small moderator housings from David (rocker1 at GTA). I’m trying to further quiet down a 22 empire XS that I recently acquired without adding much to the length. Just trying to get it quiet enough not to annoy my nice neighbors. The Empire XS has a short shroud with an air stripper and some space for the air to expand into, the question is what should come next

The smallest one has bout of 2” (52mm) of free space and a 22.2mm diameter. after the caps are threaded in. Two 26mm long baffles I had on hand fit perfectly, for example, and worked to deepen/soften the sound.

The longer can has 70mm of free space inside, same diameter.

The empty cans actually work reasonably well in themselves, but I wonder if there is some design that would make the best of this small space.

I have attached a picture of the empire xs with one of the short ones, and a pic of another similar one with a couple of baffles I had from an earlier purchase.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
