Up for sale is my Jager, I bought it new from RL Airguns. It didn’t shoot like I wanted it too so I sent it off to Allen to have it worked on. PCP Rifle  NLA PCP Rifles, Pistols and all equipment package

Hello everyone,
I have decided to sell my complete inventory of PCP Air Rifles, Pistols, and all related items, I plan to go back to shooting PB’s.
1) This package MUST be picked up at my home in Etoile, Texas and is so big physically it will require a small enclosed trailer or enclosed van. This might fit into an extended cab pickup truck with a Camper Cover on the bed.
2) I have just shy of $13,000.00 invested and will sell for $8,500.00 cash. Those of you that know me also know that everything I have is absolutely like brand new and well taken care of.
3) I will not sell any item individually and sold as a complete package only.
4) Way too many items to show a photo of each item but I can email you any additional pictures that you need. Just send me an email and tell me what items you wish more photos of and I will send to you. { wa5dx at yahoo dot com }
5) The quantity for each item is shown to the right of the description. In the case of the pellets not every Tin is new and full, I simply took an average.
6) ALL guns have all of the original factory manuals, equipment, supplies, etc. along with the factory boxes. I will remove the scopes and rings from the rifles so they can be placed back into the original boxes. I will leave the scope, rings, bipods, etc. on the pistols for your inspection.

Please, if you have any questions about any of these items send me an email, it is much faster, and if you would prefer to talk on the phone I will send you my home number.
Thank you,
ThomasT

General topics

II have been want to ask these questions for a while so today I will ask.
Some time ago I saw where some fellow had made some 3d printed pellet containers wit a screw on top. I thought he was selling them but I can;t find any info on them.
Some pellets come in tins with slip off lids and picking 500 pellets out of leaves and dead grass is not a way to spend range time.

Benjamen 392 has come into my plans for the future. I would like a used wood stock model. What should I pay for one if I find it.
I just found a Sheridan and find that I really enjoy shooting it. The benjimen would be close to it and the ammo is easy to get.
Thanks.

How Accurate is Accurate Enough? For Field Target

Newbie questions so I can anticipate some performance requirements to prepare for a match. I know different shooting disciplines will have different metrics for determining accuracy.

What are the typical “hit” size for the targets I can expect to find on a typical match. Are all targets have same sized “hit” area and the challenge is the distance from the shooter?

I finally got my HW35 (7.5 joules) scoped and been shooting it in my backyard. I noticed it can shoots almost one hole groups at 10m and opens to around ½ inch at 15 yards. But when I shoot at 20 yards, the group opens to 1.5 to sometimes 2 inches with flyers. Is this accurate enough for FT? I am using vintage target diabo type pellets. I have a new sample pack, but haven’t try them yet. Going to use up my 35-40 year old stash first.

Eyebox problems

Helllo my airgun friends, I'm using a Element Helix 6x24x50, a Sfp and I realy don't like the unforgiving eyebox. So I want something else. Price range about $850. I'm shooting mostly between 50 and 100 yards benchrest and very occasionally hft. Can you give me some advice? Clear glass a good eyebox and a 30mm tube is a must.
Should I stay at SFP or go for FFP
Greetings from the Netherlands.

Daystate Revere .177 regulated

AOA purchase
I bought a dinged new rifle - it’s beautiful and the little ding reminds me to shoot more and I saved over $300.
As most people find, the reg pressure was set pretty high, so air consumption was also high. I let a talented forum member tune it for my specific field target needs.
His tune is magic, the regulator pressure and hammer needed help, TP polishing and some other valve / spring work. I have a sweet trigger with a long first stage but very crisp second stage, the polished barrel is laser beam so far. I mounted a new hawke sidewinder on it and added a Carm flip out single shot loader. It’s a pleasure to shoot offhand. Very QUIET! 🤩
Does a Daystate Revere need a professional tuner? NO! But as we all know there is a difference between factory standards/off the shelf and the subtle or even major improvements that can be gained by a skilled gunsmith/tuner. I suspect i will never miss a shot because of the gun... it's pretty much always on me "or the wind".

What to expect from an EDgun Leshiy 2 NINE (9mm) - 600mm (23,6”)!!!

Hello, Airgun Nation community!

Wolfiek Group / EDgun Shop here.

We tried out the 9mm Leshiy 2 with the 600mm (23.6”) barrel -we took it to the maximum recommended power (around 90% of what the absolute max should be), and wanted to share the results with you:

Settings:
Jets: 0,2 + 0,2
Reg: 180 BAR (Externally Adjustable Original EDgun Regulator)

Results:
V0 with 81 grains Pellets: 278 ms / 912 fps
Muzzle Energy: 203 Joules / 150 FPE

V0 with ZAN Slugs 81 grains: 274 ms / 900 fps
Muzzle Energy: 197 Joules / 145 FPE

V0 with ZAN Slugs 91 grains: 264 ms / 866 fps
Muzzle Energy: 203 Joules / 150 FPE

Shot count from 300 to 180 BAR:
With 350cc bottle installed: 20 shots (2 Mags and a half)
With 470cc bottle installed: 27 shots (3 Mags and a half)

We also tried to squeeze more power to get that extra 10%. Now, with these settings, it would become considerably inefficient. But still, just for testing, we went for it:

Jets: 0,1 + 0,1
Reg: 200 BAR (Externally Adjustable Original EDgun Regulator)

Results:

V0 with ZAN Slugs 91 grains: 274 ms / 900 fps
Muzzle Energy: 220 Joules / 162 FPE

Shot count from 300 to 200 BAR:
With 350cc bottle installed: 12 shots (1 Mag and a half)
With 470cc bottle installed: 16 shots (2 full Mags)

We hope that we’ve shed some light on what the L2 NINE is capable of.

What do you think?

Questions?

Best,
Thomas

.177 pellet for 100y springer recommendations?

So I finally got to 100y with my .177 pcp rifle.
Now I want to try with my springer😅🤷‍♂️
Winchester 1100SS : for info sake; no tuning, just added a moderator(had to remove front sight to do so, so no irons)
Gunna have to debate on my scope options for what I have on hand... bc I know she kicks and the barska I was using is ...ehhhh...maybe if I change rings.
But projectiles....what weight are you all using?
Should I use the same ones as my pcp?...
All thoughts and comments welcome🎩🤙

Shout out to Qball and Kgphotos

When I got my new MK2 Crown in .22 I didn't know the first thing about tuning them so I contacted these 2 guys (like 50X each!). I thought I'd post a couple of targets I shot while trying to determine what power setting was best. I don't have a slug power kit. Only change to gun is a glued on CF barrel sleeve and a 580cc CF bottle. also has a Saber tactical bottle mount and Harris bipod. I shot off bipod and rear bag. Had about a 5 mph breeze that didn't seem to do much. On these targets I shot 5 groups of 5 at each power setting from 15-23. The numbering is a bit wacky. Anyway the best aggregate group was at setting 23 which is shooting the 25.39 MRDs at 940 FPS and is .395" C-C. This is at 50 yards outdoors. The worst aggregate group was .65" C-C. ( not counting #16 that I didn't shoot all 5 groups DOH!) Pretty much everything is MOA. I was impressed since the best setting shoots almost as good as my 22 rimfires outdoors! Next I have to figure out how to shoot slugs this good. I'm afraid to get a slug kit because I'll have to do this all over again! The NSA 24.8 slugs do the best, but not near this good.
Any one have any suggestions on how to improve these feel free to let me know!
Tom

Not the pellets on the tin.

This is my first post after lurking a while. Was testing a few pellets including these GAMO Hunter country .22s

Got very low FPE readings when doing the math. Felt the pellet weight and thought "this feels heavy".Finally looked closely and realized the pellets in the tin were not the ones on the picture on the label. They were actually TS10s and much heavier which explained the strange readings.

So then I started peeling the label..lo and behold.. the actual pellets were revealed.
Not sure where this error happened, I guess at the factory. Bought these in Europe about a year ago I guess. But just a heads-up, it is possible! I suppose end of production run and mislabeled, but weird there's a sticker over a printed tin.

So much information

October....
I joined bc of the information.
Not long afterwards; I found what I did not know that I was looking for.
The information.
Not just about airguns and pellets.
More than that.
The information that let's you know; you are on a righteous path.
Whether it be to acquire insane accuracy, or the ability to acquire a bond.
Finding both now; I know that insane accuracy ultimately boils down to the shooter.
Same goes for the ability to acquire a bond; it's the shooter.
Now factor in a bond as not just with people.
A pellet to setup that works great: a bond.
The weather conditions and a shooter's mood: another bond.
Only since I've been here have I figured out that it's a community like ours that has one of the greatest bonds there is: the bond of striving to have fun with all of this information.
So this is just a post for everyone:
Take all of the information you can find on everything; think REALLY hard on it, then put it all in the back of your mind and remember to have fun.

Ballistics Trueing

I'm pretty stumped here...

I'm shooting my first NRL22 match this weekend, so I went to the range this week to true the gun in Strelok. I've been using the app for a while so I'm familiar with it, however this is the first time I've had access to a real range and the first opportunity to test what it's saying out to any good distance.

The gun is a .22 Impact M3 with the heavy liner, shooting 34gr Javelin / H&N Heavy slugs at ~990 fps. I verified the velocity with two different chronographs (FX wireless and a ProChrono). Strelok is setup with all the correct info on the gun and ammo (0.118 BC @ G1), re-checked the scope height and everything (though this has little impact down range).

I zeroed the gun at 50 yds. Trust but verify... checked the targets with my range finder and good at 50 and 100. According to the app, it's 6.9 MOA from there to 100 yds. Well, it's not. It's 5.5. I went back to check my 50 yd zero and it hadn't moved. I had the chrono at the range and velocities didn't change. Tried both slugs, both sitting at 5.5 MOA at 100 yds.

The Strelok trueing feature wasn't even able to calculate a BC adjustment. The velocity adjustment was 1092 fps!! Like I said, verified 990 with two different chronos. But the new adjustments don't lie. I picked a target at 70 yds after the adjustment, 1.6 MOA, and it was dead on. So I'm confident this will work for the match... but I just don't get it. I also don't know if it will hold out to 150/200. I have access to a 200 yd range and might play around after the match.

I played around with other drag functions in Strelok and nothing really made a difference of more than 1/2 MOA at 100. I picked some random bullet in the list and it did get me to 5.8 MOA, but that's not reliable.

Thoughts? Anyone experienced the same?
