I am selling for a friend. He purchased rifle used two years ago. He has not even put a tin through it. I fired it in the basement today (25’) see target photo of 10 shots shooting off tripod while sitting in chair just shouldering buttstock. Trigger is absolutely amazing.
Pistol grip has some very minor dings, otherwise rifle is in very good condition.
Cylinders are out of hydro if that matters to you.

Food for thought: world's weirdest Webley?

Spied on Facebook today. This is a Webley Tempest action - with the barrel and entire internal action REVERSED - and a weird multiple-needle injector gizmo added to the front. It's a tool for tattooing the ears of racing greyhounds...!

I believe this absolutely takes the cake as the most unusual modification of an airgun I have ever seen. Wow.

Air Tanks  SOLD [SOLD] Omega 100cu in / 24.9cc SCBA 4500psi PCP Guppy Air Tank w/ Valve & 40" Quick Detach Hose

Hello AGN:

I recently (and finally) got my own compressor so no longer need to keep as many air tanks around anymore and am looking to sell a couple of them. Up for sale is:
  • Omega 100cu in / 24.9cc Guppy tank w/ valve and 40" quick detach fill hose; born on date is 10/2019 so it is still within its original 5 year hydro. This tank can be filled by dive shops through 10/2034. Ever since I filled it for the first time, this tank has been sitting unused in my home office and holding air perfectly. I've never had the opportunity to take any of my rifles into the wild to do any shooting so have never needed a guppy tank; this tank has never left my house. As such, this tank is in like new condition with no noticeable wear to be found anywhere. The fill hose has high quality quick detach Foster fittings on both ends - including an extended length fitting on one end to make it easier to use with rifles like the FX Impact which has a recessed fill port. Price is $300 shipped within the CONUS (HI & AK at add'l cost).
I've got plenty of references here so please feel free to check them on the Member Feedback forum prior to purchasing. Paypal Friends & Family payment is prefered (otherwise, please add 3.5% to cover the fees). Local pickup in the SF Bay Area is available as well.

Thanks!

PCP Rifle  SOLD Daystate Huntsman Classic .22 / Parts or Fix - AZ Gun

I’ve bought this used and have owned it for a number of years. It served as my main yard rifle but developed a slow leak. I took it to have it resealed but the next week it was leaking again. I tried to do it myself but was unsuccessful also. The rifle was purchased by the original owner and shipped to AZ for his shroud, trigger work, and a tune ($675 worth of work.) I purchased it shortly thereafter. It performed flawlessly for a long time until the leaking issue. It has some scratches on the outside of the valve housing but the O-ring should keep that from being an issue. If someone has one of these and wants to buy it for the top end to use the custom spacer and shroud, it would be worth it just for those or you may want to try to fix it. The barrel shoots incredibly well also. I am offering it for $425 shipped within the Continental U.S. which includes only the rifle and one magazine.

Air Arms TX200 vs HWs / Beeman Rs

Did a search but still have this question.......Is the quality of the Air Arms TX200 that much better than the HWs and Rs to be priced so much higher?
I have a chance to pick up a AA TX200 Hunters Carbine but it's several hundred higher than the German guns. I already own a R7 and R11 so I know what they're about, but I've never owned or shot an Air Arms TX200.
Thanks

Tuning  FX Panthera Hunter slug jamming fix.

I have hunter in 22cal. that jammed constantly. Irritating!!! Ted, in his review pointed out the issue with the void in the thicker lids. My take is he under stated the problem. Understandable. FX has represented the Hunter as a PELLET shooter, not a slug shooter. Perhaps. On the other hand, my be that disclaimer wasn't about performance , but rather function. The thicker top is needed to account for the deeper mag well of the Hunter as compared to a shallower mag well of the models it was intended for. Since the video by Ted proves the Nielsen 20.2gr. slugs in .216 group really well, performance is not the problem: it's a jamming problem due to a poor design. FX can respond that they didn't represented the Hunter as a slug shooter, so we're using the gun for a purpose it was not intended for. Perhaps. The magazines do work great with pellets. So here is my hack to fix the magazine to run the 20.2gr slugs perfectly. Someone should 3D print these spacers that allow for the thinner lids. Simply use a solvent based cement or epoxy to attach. Bill and Addi.

Good day with the new to me 22 HW95 Field Pro.

Finally getting to get to shoot this gun outdoors. I was initially disappointed with it. I might be to blame for that. I scrubbed and polished the barrel when I tuned it back in January or February. After shooting approximately 500 or 600 rounds through it the barrel is finally settling in. It's liking the FTTs.

So today while shooting groups a hapless G-hog ran out under the porch towards the target board. I got him clean DRT at 18 yards.

Then I shot this ten dimes target at 28 yards.

PCP Rifle  SOLD (Sold) Edgun Leshiy 2 350mm in 9mm - Shot 4 magazines only

I recently purchased this brand new Leshiy 2 350mm 9mm from Edgun West. It ships in original box inside another box (double boxed). Includes everything that it shipped with from Edgun. Pellets can be added for additional cost plus shipping (see below, $100). I have appropriate boxes and foam padding for shipping pellets.

The only "modification" is an FX gauge on the plenum. Original plug and seal will also be included.

Absolutely zero issues. Holds air, shoots very well and its in immaculate condition. It's just not for me, even after all the research and consideration. I l like my bullpups more apparently and they also fit in a backpack like the L2. I'll probably regret selling the L2 but I just dont gravitate towards it as much as my bullpups. More pictures coming soon.

Rifle: Asking $2900 shipped in CONUS via Paypal plus 3.5% fee. Scope and rings NOT included. MORE PICTURES COMING SOON.

Pellets: JSB Exact 81gr (x2) and JSB Hades 77gr (x3) - 5 tins total. Paid $125 with shipping. If you buy the rifle Ill ship them out for additional $100.

No trades. If you are interested or local to SoCal and want to meet up send me a DM here and we can exchange phone numbers and arrange a time to meet. Or if you aren't local and just want to chat about the rifle we can also do that through DM's and phone.

Brocock Compatto

So, went for a dance in the devil’s ballroom today. Stopped off at the air gun shop to put the final nails in the coffin of my heavy slug project with my Panthera.
Was standing around shooting the breeze by the used gun rack and looked down and saw a svelte little PCP and had to pick it up. Dang!! Well balanced, light and handled very well and was easy to hold steady offhand. Hmmmmmm? Looked at the tag. Brocock Compatto in 177.
I have been tinkering with the idea of a small carbine style .177 and this little thing got my attention.
Anything anyone wants to share about it is welcome. Yeah I know it is a large diversion from my stable of FX’s but also have been thinking about adding some other breeds to the herd and this little carbine has my attention.
Are the regulated?
Looks to be a good candidate for a hand pump up camping. Can leave the bottles at home.
I assume with Brocock accuracy is a given.
How is the trigger on these? Once again, I assume Brocock would provide a good trigger.

Tuning  Made the Leap!! Got the .30 FX Impact

So I’ve been saving and doing some wheeling and dealing to get the FX impact in .30 cal. It’s been a long journey to this point and I’m almost there, lol. (Still have to tune and test) I did have the first FX impact in .25 when it first came out but life happened and I had to sale. Always hated that I got rid of it, but now I’ve been blessed and have a handful of awesome air rifles and now the M3 is in my collection and can’t wait to get it going. I’ve kind of been out of the pcp world for the past few years and as of late I’ve been getting back into it. Think it’s mostly because now I live on 42 acres and have lots of room for close range and long range. It’s really amazing when I started this hobby nearly 15 years ago shooting passed 100 yards seemed to be a challenge, now days guns are reaching way passed that 100, 200, 300+ yards. It’s impressive how far air rifles have gone just in the pass few years.

Anyways I’ve got all sorts of good ammo in different sizes and weights as you can see. Really hoping I can find least 1 that fits what I’m after. Really hope the Javelin slug in 56 grain will get me what I’m after. I feel for the “claimed” power of the impact! I think this is the heaviest grain slug that can be shot close to 1000fps. But I don’t know what will happen because accuracy is the main goal and power will be 2nd. All the slugs I’ve purchased are known names in the Airgun world and meet quality standards that are preferred. But I must say I checked weights on every brand out of curiosity to see how close they were to advertised grains. Surprised to see JSB knockouts were all over the map. 48, 49, 52 and a bunch in between out of the 6 I weighed not one was what was claimed they would be, doesn’t mean none are just the 6 I checked weren’t. Zan, NSA, H&N all 6 each I checked were right on their mark. Javelin and FX only had 1 out of 6 off of their advertised weight. Again these are just random ones I grabbed so take it with a grain of salt.

So this weekend I have my work cut out for me to find that magical slug that gets me great accuracy with that awesome .30 cal power. Hope to land in the 110-125fpe range with whatever gives me best accuracy. When I bought the impact I did order a few things to upgrade with list includes
- FX carbon fiber barrel liner
-FX barrel tensioner
-NSA pin probe
Unfortunately the tensioner has not made it here yet was hoping it would but looks like next week. Anyways been doing lots of research on how to get what I’m after and if anybody has some rough settings to try I would gladly give it a shot and try it out. Will also try a few different moderators as well to help with accuracy as that also plays a role.
