Tuning  Would you consider this an accurate rifle?

I've been working on two 20 cal barrels for a couple of months here and there. This is one fitted to a Red Wolf.

The first pic is 6 - 5 shot groups @30 yds w 13.7s and 5 - 5 shot groups w 15.89s. The center group on the left was first so I took a couple of clicks off and all remaining are from the same zero. The top left shot was 1st after the scope adjustment but hold was in the same place. The 13.7s are sub 20 ft lb. The 15.89s are about 30 ft lb. I did not hold for wind in any group but was a fairly light breeze.
The second pic is @ 50 yds with 15.89s. I shot 3 below the target to find holdover, then group of 5.
The third pic is @ 100 yds w 15.89s. I shot 5 off the target to find holdover, then group of 5.
So basically- its 73 consecutive shots with only one I'd consider a flier but maybe two or three that are outliers.
What do you think?

Custom parts.

If anyone ever needs something made that's obscure, not in stock or just a one-off part, let me know. I can make pretty much anything that you need, plenums, hammers, extensions, drop blocks, hpa conversions, etc... I even make balance valves that can replace the standard poppet valve. Also, barrels, probes, etc...

In some cases I may need really good dimensions or blueprints but could also need the part that's needing replaced or the whole gun. I own and run a gunsmithing business so I can be verified as being legit because I see how there's apparently a problem in the airgun industry with scammers.

Tuning  Baby Steps

I finally slowed down and decided not to rush my tuning procedure. My Impact M3 was out of tune and I just couldn't seem to get it in tune and balanced (VA, hammer, etc.) I was getting close but it wasn't consistent. Then I remembered something Steve Scialle said in his tuning video - make small adjustments. At the end I made two small adjustments - two clicks on the micro adjuster and 1/6th turn opn the valve adjuster and - VOILLA! Results below. The red dot is 3/4" so result the was about .79 MOA. Lesson learned - BABY STEPS! The attached pdf shows the results. BTW - this was short range test - about 35 yards.

FX  .25 fx maverick sniper

Question. I’m ordering the maverick from spaw and they will tune to JSB 33.95. My question is I will also be shooting light slugs as I do not want the slug liner at this time. Will having the slug power kit installed be of any benefit? They will be adding a custom hammer , I will have clarify on the weight, but I’m assuming it will be around fx medium weight hammer.
Thanks

FX Maverick a Fail?

I know this may bring out the FX haters and that's not really the intent, but some time back, I saw a post where someone referred to the Maverick as a 'fail'.

I have 5 Impacts and a Maverick currently. I've never felt the need to 'upgrade' my .30 Maverick to an Impact and it has been trouble free 100%. Perhaps the comment was a one off, but I'm genuinely curious if others see the Maverick as a fail or what shortcomings it may have; especially compared with the Impact. Seems a solid gun to me.

Huben  Huben GK1 Pistol Owner Bloopers "You Blew It!"

I stumbled across this today. This is funny, but informative. Are any of these photos from any AGN members? I wonder how many of these will be sold shortly after jacking them up or getting them back after being repaired. I know I've done it a few times on the K1. Although I haven't experienced failure though. Is it feasible to machine a more durable part made of stronger material that will not snap?

FX  Wildcat MkIII arrived and first shots fired...

The Wildcat MkIII BT VP .22 arrived yesterday, along with the Immersive Optics 14x50. Interesting that they were ordered on the same day and arrived in NC the same day, from FL and the UK.

Got the scope mounted today and loaded the first mag with .22 cal FX 18.1's. First two shots averaged 5 1/4" right, 4 1/2" low at 50 yards. Only took three more shots to get the first hit on the dot. Then I accidentally double-loaded and wasted two keyholes to the left. Spent the next six shots working on adjusting the bags and my crappy position. I was sitting on my right leg with the rifle to my right on bags, on the top of the backrest that wraps around my porch. I spent the last five shots in the mag on my first attempt at a group.

Still some tweaking to the scope and adjusting to the zero eye relief. The view is amazing but, it's very different. Then, whenever the compressor arrives, I'll work on seeing where I am with the FX Atomics(Hades), FX Hybrid 22g's and Javelin Gen2 21g's.

After a little trigger time, this thing should be a tack driver.

FWB  FWB 300S

Been looking for one for a bit after hearing everyone else rave about how much they like shooting theirs. Matter of fact, some of y’all probably owe me money! I’ll set up a GoFundMe 😉. Stumbled on this one. LH stock it’s in is beech but RH looks to be walnut. Bonus. Came with 20 or so front sight inserts. Bluing in good shape, had one rust spot at rear of shroud at the threads. Came off easily but bluing was already gone. Shoots great. I put rear sight on hand tight, walked out to 12 yards and shot a 1.5” spinner standing offhand. Twice. With a LH stock and not even sighted in and a loose rear sight I was pretty darn happy. Should probably leave it that way ha ha ha. Before any lefties ask, LH stock may be spoken for. Someone on Target Talk messaged me before I even had it in hand. Made him what I thought was a very fair offer. If anyone else is interested let me know and if it doesn’t work out with him I’ll let you know.

HW/Weihrauch  HW98 Muzzle Brake ??

Since I bought and placed a .20 cal. HW98 barrel on my (formally .177) HW80SLK, I got tired of handling the barrel while cocking.
Whether its the cold steel or the fear of rusting/blueing wear, I decided to make a muzzle brake for it like all my other HW's.

The brake completely covers the screw on muzzle end of the HW98 barrel and looks a little wonky as the barrel is roughly 7/8" in diameter.
However, it works great - (y)

PCP Rifle  SOLD for sale: Air Venturi – Avenge-X Classic – Wood (Tube Version) AvengeX .22

Hi Airgunners, I bought this Air Venturi Avenger X 2 weeks ago from Utah airguns,
I shot it once last Wednesday at the Diablo Rod and gun club Airgun range. A few of fellow airgunnation members helped me zero it and @rodjava even generously gave me a can of .22 pellets to get me started.
Then I saw @nirinium classifieds post about the Panthera he had for sale. He gave me a bundle deal for his gun scope, transfer tank & FX pocket chrono.
Anyway I can’t justify keeping this AvengeX so I’m listing it for sale.
This is the $570 wood tube version in .22. Used once.
I’ll ship it with the original box and packaging.
Local pickups are of course preferred.
490$ shipped?
Cheers
