BRK's New MF Moderators

001_BRK Air Gun Silencer MF121 + MF170.jpg

New for 2023, BRK’s MF 1/2" UNF Silencers. The quietest silencer BRK has ever made eclipsing the performance of many existing and more expensive custom brands.

The MF170mm is the long version designed for ultimate silencing and use on shorter rifles such as bull-pup designs and carbines while the MF 121 is the short, intended to compliment longer full-length rifles, both silencers have 40mm diameters which makes them super effective in cutting down muzzle noise.

Fits industry standard 1/2" UNF threads. Calibre specific to .177 (4.5mm) and .22 (5.5mm) Calibre.

The perfect accessory for any airgun shooter wishing to make as litle muzzle noise as possible.

PCP Rifle  NLA HW100K .22 for .177 PCP

I purchased this in Oct/Nov of last year. Shot very little,

I do have a Rat Works aluminum air tube (pictured) but the rifle will come with the factory tube which is the same length as the lightweight RW pictured. I can include the RW aluminum tube depending on the trade. Comes with the factory supplied 2 - mags. I also have an extra mag., which can be added, depending on trade.

I am looking to trade for the following in .177
HW100K
Daystate MK4iS
Theoben MFR
Edgun Lelya 2.0
Daystate Sportsman MKII (multi pump)

The scope and rings are not included
KsaiKNP.jpg

Decided to just shoot all of them!

The Indiana weather has been unseasonably cold and windy starting last weekend. Trying to figure out a way to practice with purpose, I decided to pull each rifle out of the vault, and with no warm-up or adjustment shots, shoot one 10 shot group with each, on the indoor 18 yard range, and attempt to shoot sub MOA. At 18 yards a sub MOA group only measure .188”

My experience is that the close groups will very much predict the quality of the longer yardage groups.

In the process, as I always do, I did discover a few maintenance details that did need attended to - one of the added values of such exercises.

I thought some of you might enjoy seeing the stats, even though there is always a member or two that severely discount the value of the close yardage work-ups, which is ok with me. To each his own.

NEW .20 Zan Projectiles Slugs

Hey Guys,

We would like to let you know that we have made .20 calibre in three weights, 15, 20 and 25 grains. 15 and 20 grains are packed 250 PCS/box and 25 grains 200 PCS/ box.
For now you can find them on our website, but they are already on the way to stores that sell our products.

ZAN Projectiles

.20 Calibre is not one of the most popular calibres, but it's probably one of the most BC "reach" calibre on the market.

It will be perfect for long range shooting or hunting.

We hope that the variety of different slugs in .20 caliber will encourage barrel or rifle manufacturers to see the potential and start making more rifles and barrels in this caliber.

Have a nice weekend,
Maja Brlec

AEA  AEA semiauto after a week of ownership

A week ago I just bought my 22 AEA HP semiauto (in like new condition) and the rod disconnected from the bolt in 8-10 magazines for the first time.
Then it started disconnecting every 3-4-5 magazines, 3 times so far.

The Pellet Shop have the bolt handle and the rod.
But, I decided that I will not spend $40 (with shipping) for a rod and bolt handle from the Pellet Shop.

All 3 of my magazines broke in this week, because the spring inside popped out of the holes.
I managed to mostly fix the magazines by using pliers to extend the spring ends.
It took several trials and almost 2 hours to fix the 3 magazines.

Today, I just turned my AEA HP SS into bolt action in about 30 minutes.
Before that I have spent a few hours researching the AEA HP SS semiauto.

There is even a video from Bin at the Pellet Shop (likely the best AEA dealer) on how to turn the AEA HP into bolt action.
I can only imagine how many complaints he got.
At least he tried to help us, the unfortunate owners of AEA semiauto air guns.

Many complaints all around about the AEA semiauto.

The bolt action is so much smoother than the semiauto, like shooting a PCP instead of a springer :)
In bolt action is much more quiet, better trigger, flatter shot string, no air blasting in your face, no recoil.
The AEA has significant recoil in semiauto mode.

Still even in bolt action the AEA is behind many air guns like the Umarex Notos for instance.
It might be better than the Hatsan Jet, but that does not say much.

The AEA semiauto are the least reliable air gun I have seen and need constant maintenance.

Maybe their new AEA SF line is better, but that is a big maybe !

FX  FX again goofs with parts on Pathera accessory. Side rail adapter.

I have an old thread where I talked about how FX "accidentally" initially shipped out the folding stock adapters for the Panthera without including the screws and plug/seal for the air channel on the OEM stock. They also mistakenly tapped the hole for the set screw that screws into the groove on an AR buffer tube on the WRONG side. Thankfully since it's just an air rifle, the castle nut is all you really need anyway, but still.... C'mon FX, Really?
That took a few weeks to correct and now it has been resolved.

Well, as Britney Spears would say, "oops FX did it again" with the release of the "dynamic side rail adapter" for the Panhera. The two main screws they included in the kit that secure the adapter block to the rifle were the WRONG size and too long. It comes with two M5x50. Too long and will not allow you to tighten the adapter to the rifle all the way down.
Rather than go through the hoops and waiting 2 or more weeks for the right screws I just ordered a pack of M5x45 from Amazon and fixed the problem.

It's getting frustrating that someone is really dropping the ball with quality control, as far as these accessories go. You spend a ton for the rifle, wait MONTHS for the accessory to ship and then AGAIN, a parts issue.

C'mon FX YOU CAN DO BETTER! How do these screw ups keep happening? I really hope Jon @FX-USA sees this post and chews some butt with they guys in charge of packaging these parts and accessories.

Is this appropriate lube for Airgun use?

Hello all,

I picked up a bottle of this at my local tractor supply for less than $5 (do not go shopping while bored) and was wondering if this was safe to use in my multi pumps/co2/pcp’s.

I don’t have any springers at the moment so I’m mostly looking to lubricate pumps, orings, seals, trigger, and hammer etc.

Thanks for the advice and info :)

New to the forum

Hello everyone, I’m new to the forum and to air gunning. I have gamo whisper silent cat (I know, it’s a cheap bastard gun) but not a bad first pellet rifle. I shoot targets and pests and I just got my UTG bug buster 3-12 this week and I can’t wait for tomorrow (Friday/Saturday are my days off) I’ve never used a scope with the windage/elevation knobs so I’ll be learning something this weekend. I’ve read some posts and everyone seems to have a PCP and I’m sure I’ll get one someday but my break barrel is getting it done for now. I know I’ll learn a lot here and hopefully make some friends, thank you

airgunner enthusiasts vs airgun forum enthusiasts

i am a airgun enthusiast, i dont come here to show off my vocabulary and writing skills. I have a passion for airgunning, i love the pursuit for ultimate accuracy, this is my hobby. Nobody and I mean NOBODY has any understanding about my passion, so I come here to show off my stuff, and read about whats new. I can’t help but notice these guys with crazy numbers of posts who sit behind a keyboard as their hobby.

PCP Rifle  SOLD FX Impact MK2/M3 .22 cal Slugger (Upgraded to M3 with many 2023 parts)

NO scope, mount, or bipod included! Be advised!

Plenum 720, tungsten hammer, WIKA gauges, M3 side lever, 580cc bottle, Huma high flow regulator, barrel clamp + stiffener, saber tactical reversible block. The liner is a 2023 superior heavy liner (this is my own separate liner that I purchased from FXUSA in 2023, it is not the one that came with the purchase). Has the serial number on it if you want to double check. Also has a carbon fiber sleeve on the liner. Spent more money on changing out valve pin, hammer, power wheel into M3 as well. Has an M3 REAR BLOCK (you can verify by just looking at the serial number)! Comes with a laser sight attached. I’ve got receipts from FXUSA that show all the M3 internals I bought.

I WILL BE INCLUDING A 200 COUNT UNOPENED BOX OF 35 GRAIN NSA .217 SLUGS!!!

Basically is an Impact M3, BUT FOR LESS!

Comes in a FX Impact standard hard case.

PLEASE NOTE!!! THIS RIFLE CAN ONLY SHOOT SLUGS THAT are 27.5 GRAIN OR HEAVIER! THIS IS BECAUSE THE TRANSFER PORT ON THE BARREL KIT HAS BEEN MILLED FOR INCREASED AIR FLOW!!! Also, there is some marring where the laser sight is attached. It’s not visible because the laser sight covers it, but the ability to attach picatinny accessories has not been affected at all (laser sight will be included).

Additionally, the moderator threads on. But a few of the threads on the factory moderator have become a little wonky. Meaning you just have to match the threads, but it requires minimal effort.

I have sold many things here…please deal with confidence.

SOLD!

PCP Rifle  SOLD RAW .22 HM1000X 2 stocks

Hi Guys,

Hate to do this but after several years I have decided to put my .22 RAW up for sale.

It is freshly tuned, sealed and a new Huma Regulator installed.
I have 2 stocks for it.
After the new HUMA it is shooting 18.13 JSB at 881 fps and extreme spread of 13 fps and 3 fps standard deviation. It is the gold standard for
consistency.

This gun has been my go to for many years and I have put a lot of time and energy into the finish of the stocks for this gun.

I have both a BM stock in Buckskin and a sporter stock in grey laminate that has been modified the trigger guard of a first gen LRT and refinished to a walnut color finish along with multiple layers of gun oil.

Both stocks have been done on threads on here, under my old Handle TerryMc without a space. sorry lost my old Email account so I had to start anew.
any ways the sporter stock I bought the gun with, and quickly tired of the trigger guard, I also had a .30 LRT and much preferred the trigger guard of it.
So I decided to take measurements and looked closely and found it could be done. So got into the workshop and reprofiled the trigger guard and decided I wanted to
do a different color on the stock. Never tried this on a laminate before and it was a whole challenge unto itself. Eventually I got the color I wanted and started laying layers of gun oil onto the stock and when I had enough I wetsanded it and did a final polish.

Since I was shooting bench match with this I decided to try the BM stock. Having been pleased with the results of the sporter stock I ordered a buckskin BM stock because I had never seen one in this color! and I ordered it unfinished knowing I wanted to put my finish on this stock to achieve the results I was looking for.
Again after reshaping and tons of finish sanding to achieve the results I wanted, I began the long process of put and layer on and sand until smooth put another layer on and sand until smooth, I did this over a 4 month period until I had the depth and finish I was looking for.

So I will say I am a little sad to sell this gun but it is time for some changes in my life.
With Both stocks I am asking $2200 + actual shipping, if one stock or the other $1750 plus actual shipping.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Terry Mc

If Edgun and STO had a baby...

So I had this tiny STO Pugio that I wanted to use on my modded PP750 to keep everything nice and short. Problem was, it had the high flow .30 cal core that was not really optimal for this gun so this setup was a bit louder than I liked. I wanted to buy a properly sized core for it, but STO was out of .22 cal cores. So I figured, I'd just print my own core. I took my Tesla valve design that worked so well as a blast baffle in Edgun Behemoth, scaled it down a little, and managed to squeeze 3 of these things into a .22 cal monocore for the Pugio. It worked well and quieted things down nicely. Only thing is, I did not like the high frequency tone of the report. So I thought, what if I took the Behemoth internals, that Kevlar spool with the perforated metal tube that I had lying around as a leftover from my Behemoth upgrades, and put it into the Pugio, maybe that would help absorb those high frequencies? My next design had 2 Tesla baffles and the Kevlar spool, as well as a .22 caliber insert for the front cap and a skeletonized tube to contain the spool and support the monocore (same as how STO does it with their foam insert). It worked amazingly well. The report is now a deeper thud rather than a sharp crack, similar to how the Behemoth sounds, and it registers like ~3dB lower on my sound meter than the original Pugio with the .30 cal core.

Now, I have no idea how the performance of this hybrid mutant baby compares to the proper .22 cal STO core, but hey, it does what I need it to do: keeps things backyard friendly in a really short package.

Just wanted to share this fun little experiment.

Diana  Springer Pistols

I picked up a Diana 5GN yesterday and have been having a blast with it. Well now its got me thinking.... What other piston pistols are out there that I should add to the collection? I have my eye on a Diana 10 already which seems about as good as you can get but are there any others?

Group Tax: First attempt at a group from 10m out (rested). I'm sure it'll do better once I get the hang of it but even that was pretty fun. Going to give some 10m Olympic style a try at some point but I can guarantee I'm not sharing that target with anyone except the garbage can lol

RAW Rapid  Brand New RAW TM1000 for Rifle and Pistol multi-use platform.

I just received my new tm1000 from Rapid air worx.

When I received the gun it was set up for 12.1 FPE all I had to do was back off the hammer spring a half a turn to bring it where I needed it. I filled it to 200 bar and shot 36 shots over the chronograph, looking at the pressure gauge I only dropped 25 bar. It appears this gun will get roughly a hundred shots or just under per fill.

It's is a real sweet setup. Just got a scope mounted last night, I made a uit rail for the m lock system, installed some modified dovetail to picatinny adapters and this is almost exactly how I'll be shooting it in competition.

I will be installing a proper butt plate, a kneecup style hamster shelf and one of my magnetic detachable side Wheels on the scope. The scope is the brand new falcon X 505 ft which I will be testing to see if it is something I want to use this season.

Omg I finally screwed my self

Pls help. I have extra parts. So I was tuning my stock reg on my pp700sa I screwed my reg screw all the way in towards the gauge. An I was getting 350 fps but very consistent and many shots. So I thought if I go opposite way towards the trigger that it would increase velocity.

Omg I’m screwed so the reg screw is not flush but out 1.5 threads out. I filled the tank. And when I shot nothing. The valve does not fill with air. No I’m screwed as I cannot empty the tank. How in the world can I remove the air from tank it’s at full psi too? I tried screwing in the reg screw through the hole by trigger but no luck.

Can I drill a tiny hole in tank slowly? Omg not sure what to do.

Looking to stir the pot….

Probably the most common question I see on all the forums and social media platforms (besides what gun should I buy) is the never ending which is better, .177 or .22? And I’m going to throw in .20 cal for all the haters and lovers of the caliber. I think this question mostly comes up with springers and sub 12 PCP’s. Please comment if you think otherwise.
