I made an alarming discovery yesterday while shooting my Crown mk2 600mm in .25 .
First of all, I would like to say I love the tunability of the Yokozuna. It really helped calm down the the 1:18 slug liner I have installed . Groups closed down to some nice 8 shot groups at my home range of 78 yards. This shots were fired at 78 yards with a right to left crosswind at 6 mph with a few gusts touching 10 mph.
But as I started , I notice my shroud was almost touching my air vessel. Not sure if the weight of the Yokozuna on the unsupported shroud bent my barrel or what is happening.

As you can see my shroud clearance difference went from 1/4 " to 1/16".
I am thinking of indexing my barrel the opposite of the bend hoping for a correction to occur.
Bottom line, I think if your are planning on using the Yokozuna on your Crown, or any barrel mounted tuning device, a barrel band should be used.
Your thoughts?

Selling my friend's Wildcat BT MK3 sniper in 22 cal, not used much since he has many guns and realized it's not what he wanted. Probably has less than 1000 pellets through it. It is completely stock with 700mm barrel and 580cc bottle from the factory as the sniper version.

Everything is factory, there are couple of cosmetic blemishes:
1. He is a lefty so he shaved off the sharp edge on the cheek piece.
2. He bumped the bottle into his door so the bottle has some paint scuff, it's smooth to touch but the paint stuck on pretty good so didn't want to use sand paper on the bottle.

Other than that it's as pictured, will ship in the FX hard case it came in........NLA

Hello everyone.
I have FX Crown MK2, 30 caliber 600mm liner 1:22 Superior.
Interested in slugs only, before I go order bunch of slugs of different grain, looking of input on what you 30cal Crown likes, brand and gn. of slugs and what FPS it's happy at.

I bought a new big bore and went looking for a muzzle brake to tame the recoil while letting it still bark like big dog.

My normal go to shop for brakes was a no go for matching the muzzle thread on the rifle. After trying my best google fu I came up empty handed so decided to just design and make my own.

I'd like to get the quietest moderator possible for my FX Impact, 600mm, .25 caliber shooting JSB/FX 34 grain diabolo pellets at about 57 ft lbs - 870 fps. I'm considering the STO Sarissa high flow but I'm concerned about POI shift, harmonics, etc. Also, those of you who have one - is it really really really quiet? Is there anything quieter? Too bad there's no way to test it - they will not allow a return if it has been mounted or tested.

Hello, I'm new to the air gun world and recently purchased a Red WolfHi power in .177. I'm shooting the 16.2gr Beasts and they were shooting around 940-965 fps. Accuracy was realistically 1/2" at 25 yds, not good. I took it to AOA and had them do a retune on it. They throttled the hi power setting down to push that pellet between 885-913, and accuracy is a better but not where I think it should be shooting. My question is this. I'm seeing a velocity spread of about 28fps. Now, a little about my background, I build long range hunting rifles. I spend hours and hours tuning guns and developing loads. You can't get consistent accuracy without velocity consistency. With the loads I develop for the guns, I strive to reach a 10fps max spread and by doing that usually makes the rifle a sub 1/2 moa gun. Can anyone tell me what kind of velocity spreads I should be getting with this Red Wolf? Hunting rifles or air guns, they all have barrel harmonics and if the projectile does not exit the barrel at the same time every shot, you can chase your tail forever. I use tuner brakes on some of my rifles and most of the time they work. I installed one on my red wolf and it helped considerably, basically by minimizing the barrel movement. It would be much better with velocity consistency. I feel I should be able to shoot 10 shots at 25 yds and clean the X ring outta there in perfect, indoor conditions. Is the realistic? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to shoot Benchrest with this gun but its not there yet.

Iv been getting ride of some of my airguns.I pulled out of storage the old CZ and low and behold it had 1300 psi still in it after 2 years"so pulled back the bolt and fired a couple rounds still right on the money.This is the old one .Where you can take off the stock and adjust the power lever.It set at 850 fps.Its so quite "I no iv got to get ride some of this stuff?i still love this little gun.

It is insanely cold outside, so what did I decide to do? Shoot an airgun in it, of course.

It is just one shot, but a nice one. I shot a can of berry flavored cider, which is really red in color, with a Tracker Raptor exploding pellet over fresh snow. I had to do it fast before the can froze, but I got it done. I'll check where the liquid came out tomorrow to see if it froze before hitting the ground and if it made any cool looking patterns...or something.

.177 PUPZILLA

I got this .177 Bullpup from AESWEDE. He ported and drilled leade in on barrel. He increased valve hole to 7mm and installed 8 mm peek poppet. Added a heavy hammerspring and a light valve spring. Removed factory plenum ceiling and installed 25cc plenum. He installed his custom trigger and sear tuner. I covered in Aligator and added Termadator bully band and tactical base. I added 2nd lg air tube. Want to keep this rifle hand pump friendly. It shot really good, but for poopz and giggles, I had Ailen Airguns make me a custom LW barrel for it. Wayne Reid did a FANTASTIC job on this barrel. Non choked, 24in. Made a custom carbon fiber shroud so it will fit any .177 Avenger Bullpup or rifle. It is very nice and Wicked Accurate to 50 yds so far. Will take her out to fhe farm and open her up and see what she can do. I think its capable of 40+fpe. Been shooting reg @ 2400psi, 2 turns on HS. 16.2 gr JSB Beasts.

View attachment 425501I love it. 20 yards & I can sub dime 7.9 CPHP easy 5. You loose your POA as hole enlarges but sub dime all day unless you torque or slip on follow through grip.
I don’t know if the Silver Star I had was in need of breaking in or a tune but this is way different.

I’m telling you something. I sold the Silver Star & a lefty Steyer 10e cheap but keep this. Also just got a Marksman P3. Looking for HW P3 and .22 barrels as I love them.

poop you couldn’t use the grip of the Styer as a hammer if you ever absolutely had to lol. The Styer is hole on top of the first hole granted but for a springer the P1 is amazing and fun. I didn’t really enjoy the click click electronic trigger but yes great for competitive shooter.

I could post a picture or video of the groups and I always will if called out but I like to think brothers who know me from 15+ years back know I’m not trying to BS anyone.

So, I was working with my buddy on his new PP750, porting etc.
I had seen in a video or read that the regulator feet port from the cylinder is so small that it takes 20 to 30 seconds for the (small plenum to refill between shots. I removed the adjuster screw and drilled the tiny wire drill size out with a drill about 30-40% bigger in diameter.

In retrospect I realize this is not something I have seen talked about much if at all. The reason I questioned doing that is that his ES went to crap, in fact the gun was acting unregulated with a steadily climbing shot string. I finally got him to take it apart yesterday and he found the large (main) reg. oring torn up and with tiny brass chips embedded in it. Obviously the reg was not cleaned thoroughly enough after reinstallation.
The oring was replaced and the drill site cleaned again of chips and reinstalled. Better but still a mess. I suspect there are chips in the spring stack.

At any rate, is it bad practice to increase the size of the port which feeds the regulator from the tube or tank?

I bought one a week ago and it did not go well. Fitted a Victoptics red dot and tried to get it to shoot close to target in my garage over 5 meters.
Could not get it to group at this distance. At 10m four out of five were on an A4 paper target and one shot was complete off the paper. It tried about 15 different types and weights of pellets. Best was H&N Barracuda 18.
Took it back to the dealer on Saturday and he checked the barrel. There was a very serious barrel problem and the importer agreed to replace the gun.
I am now waiting for the replacement.

It was a 5.5 mm caliber and was producing 15.4 to 15.8 FPE, depending on pellet type and weight. Generally it is very nice. Light and ergonomic. Without the stock it handles easily in confined spaces like a warehouse, and in my case, garage. The stock is very sturdy with only a small amount of movement in the adjustable butt. The other gun, of the two that was received by the dealer, is very accurate and shoots very well. Just me that got the lemon, ......again.



The tape around the pacifier (Can't call it a silencer, does not silence the bark) ports reduce the amount of sound substantially.

I drilled or vented the hammer in my Artemis PP 750 on Friday because I believe I was getting air bounce between the hammer and the valve. What additional tuning does this require? With no other changes my fps went from 722 to 760 with a 16 gr pellet.

I expected a minor pickup but definitely not this much.

The gun is ported to a hair over 5/32" at valve and TP, the thimble is a little more than that with the single port mod.
I have the extended plenum from Wes, designed by Bighun.
The reg. is still at <1,400 psi as it came from the factory.
10" barrel.

When tuned to 720 ish which I believe was around the "knee" the hammer spring adjuster was about one turn in from full out, another turn and a half was max power.

I drilled a 1/8" hole in the center of the hammer as the poppet pin is off center to the hammer face.
When I reinstalled everything with the HS adjuster the same # of turns in I had picked up 35 to 40 fps and would max out at about 765. I am now backed as far as the adjuster will go to roughly the new knee.

my shot consistency had dropped off a bit but not horrible.

Anybody have any thoughts on this?

I am not looking for max power but right now I am seeing 20+ shots at 20fpe. I am fine with that. just want to refine the tune.
