I can not stop myself wanting a electronic PCP, i have asked a few questions on Epoch threads as i only really hunt having said that i,m lucky enough to have recently set up my own range on my property from 50-120 yds, I,m interested in both rifles but struggling to decide on which one, Prices are similar and i only shoot slugs at this moment but that could change but as said prob be around 80% hunting/ play shooting and 20% trying to improve my skills target shooting,
I really enjoy long distance shooting again on my own land as i find it challenging play shooting oranges at 200yds plus and could do with some advice which rifle would suit best, i have taken a good few rabbits at this distance too,
any advice good or bad welcome..

I received a new rifle yesterday and want to sight it in out to fifty yards as that’s my self imposed limit, and pretty much the farthest my hunting area would allow because of trees and vegetation.
My desire is to zero the rifle so I just have come ups where all my distance variations from reticle center would be below the horizontal of the reticle. I don’t dial when pesting because I could to easily forget to dial (short attention span). I LRF my prey and then use come up dope.
The caliber is .30 at 848fps, 44.75 JSB Exact.
Appreciate any help on what’s the best way of going about that task.

Just got a used crown mark 2 30 cal with 600 mms barrel. Wanting to shoot hybrids 44.5 in it at close to 900 fps that I can get. I read that 160 bar is max pressure. Is that true? I also read that Earnest Roe tuned the crown to 170 bar. What do you recommend.....Thanks...

So my goal for today was to make a video detailing how I make a TX200 guide out of acetal on a mini lathe. I spent the better part of the afternoon making this video only to discover during editing that all of my source material for the second half had no audio. Why you ask? Because I am dumb and forgot to charge my wireless mic. Now you may ask, "But Jon, why wouldn't you check your work as you went so you could catch things like this?" Well my answer to you would be the same as before. Because I am a dumb dumb.

Anyway, this is basically how I go about making the actual guide portion of the guide. If you would like I can upload the audio-less second half but OH MY GOSH is 15 minutes of video without audio hard to watch. I tried adding audio over it but that was way too much work trying to remember why my hands were doing this and that and honestly trying to make lathe noises by mouth is not easy and I started getting dizzy from the constant screeching. Lessons were learned.

Any who, here is my beginner guide. If you are not a beginner or notice something I can/should do differently, I am more than open to critiques here. Honestly I would appreciate them because I have zero formal training and am basically winging it.


Sorry for the poor audio by the way. It was my first attempt at any sort of real video and definitely need to work on how I record the audio especially when dealing with background noise. Live and learn!

As a final thought, I likely would have done this guide as a single piece in the future. I was mostly experimenting with re-using the factory base on my own guide and the only way to learn new things is to try new things. I will see how this setup holds up with time and go from there.

A top hat was also made and added after this but I don't really have any good pictures of it.

The barrel that came with Delta Wolf is 1:20" twist rate. Its slightly chocked. Apparently very well finished. Doesn't shoot 18.13 grain or 25 grain jsb redesigned at any fps accurately.

For someone I have also tried installing this barrel on a free floating barrel gun but no good accuracy.

As a last attempt I going to make the barrel a bit more choked.

When I push a pellet through the barrel, there appears no issues in barrel rather the barrel is Apparently excellent but without accuracy .

It will take time as my machinist is busy. But I shall develop more choke in it and then test it.

I have some hope that it will perform.

A problem popped up today. After about 40 shots the cocking lever became really stiff. I found the shuttle screw in the front of the cocking lever had backed out. Tightened that up and all was well.

But before I found that, I tried to remove the barrel to see what was up with the shuttle/lever. I cannot get the barrel out. It seems like the ratchet won’t completely release. I’ve tried several times. It won’t come out. I tried to remove the ratchet thumb screw but I can’t that out. I hate to put a pliers on it and force it and scarring it up.

Has anyone ran into this? Any ideas?

Both make very good accurate rifles. So, why don't we see more of them? At matches or for sale, or advertising?

AEA HP SS PLUS Semi-Auto .30/7.62 rifle. This is an estate buy so don't know much on history. It does work as it fired 1 .30cal pellet from manual load. No mags, no fill probe, no stock. Stock mechanism locks I to place to make it a carbine. Please use the pics for condition. Shipping from Georgia to the Continental US only.

$450 or will trade towards a Benjamin P-Rod that's been made into a carbine or trade for a P-Rod and make up the difference.

Take a shorty Gen2 M-rod tube, Put in a small balanced valve, Light hammer w/integral SSG for starters.
Make up an ASA adapter to take a screw on Ninja Regulator or a free flow manifold utilizing the small diameter 13 or 22 cc aluminum bottles.
A full 15mm barrel to be fitted into a .22 cal breech and will have barrel passing over the air tank w/o contact.
Gaining clearance required a 1/16" shim under the receiver, tad longer transfer tube. Barrel currently in place a full 15mm that needed the area over bottle reduced to @ 7/16 ( .437" ) to clear the bottle. An OEM crosman barrel would have been great if i had one
Ideally this to be a .177 cal carbine / pistol with barrel at 15" Have an AR style HST cap if going that route. Also have a SYN factory stock that might get modified to fit.

Alright, selling my daily use FX Impact MK2 currently set up in .30 to shoot H&N 54gr around 880fps, so about 95fpe gets 2-3 mags, I'm in South Florida and I kill iguanas daily, so this gun gets used everyday along with several other guns. The guns also has the power block, and 720 plenum installed, also has the short saber tactical picatiny/arca rail, and a 700cc bottle.

In .177 it is a 600mm barrel, superior liner, and it shoots 13gr zans, 16gr zans, 10gr jsb, and 13gr jsb really well. 16gr zans being favored. It also likes 16gr jsb pellets at high power, on low power it shoots just about everything.

At regular power levels all the barrels like to shoot most pellet brands.
