N/A  Quality trouble free PCP

What's your idea of a quality trouble free PCP that will reward with GREAT 50yd accuracy. I already own a BSA R10 (Huma-Air regulated) and an AA510 non regulated. Both are capable of 1/2in with no wind and its favorite pellet (FX 16gr) at 50yd. Not wanting to push past 50, just want best options available. I realize that RAW or FX would be more accurate, but at what cost. I just want to shoot, not work on the things. Oh and it has to be magazine fed. No single shots. Too much time.

PCP Rifle  SOLD [SOLD] Mint FX Impact M3 POWER BLOCK Sniper Black 0.22 700mm 580cc Bottle, Front Barrel Clamp & Harmonic Tuner

[No trade offers on this listing please...]

Hello AGN,

I'm looking to sell a Mint, As New Condition FX Impact M3 Power Block 0.22 700mm Sniper Slugger w/ Orion high capacity magazine, FX 700mm Harmonic Tuner, 580cc bottle, stainless steel bolts installed and factory FX hard case. This beautiful rifle is less than a year new and is the very latest model with the Power Block and the new front barrel clamp. It has the FX STX Superior Heavy 1:16 Twist Rate liner installed and is currently set up to shoot ZAN 30.5g slugs at a smokin' 1050fps what amazing consistency and accuracy (you can, of course, easily dial down the fps as needed)! Rifle also has the FX 700mm Harmonic Tuner installed to help you fine tune any slug or pellet you end up shooting with this rifle.

This M3 comes with a complete set of stainless steel bolts already installed (with anti-seize compound applied); these bolts not only look better - they'll wear better over time as they will not rust. All of the original black screws will be included as well if you want to reinstall those instead. All in all, this rifle is in like new condition with very little to no noticeable wear to be found on it anywhere.

Price is: $1800 + 1/2 actual shipping to your location

Local pickup is available in the SF Bay Area - otherwise, payment by Paypal Friends & Family is preferred (or add 3.5% if using PP Goods & Services). I have plenty of feedback both here as well as dating back to the old Yellow Forum so please feel free to do your due diligence and know that you're dealing with a reputable trader.

Traditional Rifle  NLA WTS: Sheridan Blue Streak Model CB - Excellent Condition w/box (1971) **REDUCED**

Offering up this extra nice Sheridan Blue Streak Model CB with original box for your consideration.
Based on the S/N it was built in 1971 and has Montgomery Ward labels on the box.

Caliber is .5mm/ .20 Cal and I have not shot this rifle personally.
It came to me along with two early Crosman rifles as part of an estate that I purchased this past summer.

The gun shows some minor handling/use marks but the wood is solid with a little sun fading and the metal is clean with no visible corrosion.
I have shot this only a couple of times to check function and it shoots very well and seems to hold air as it should with no noticable leaks that I can detect.

My price is only $299 Shipped for this one. ((Shipping to lower 48 ONLY))

Payment to be Friends/Family PayPal, ZELLE or USPS Money Order

First "I'll Take It" followed up with a PM containing your contact info gets this.

**NOTE** Although I am new to this forum I am very active on GunBroker and the SWCA (Smith and Wesson) forum under the name THREEDFLYER and you can check my feedback there. Please contact me with any questions and I can provide my direct email address and phone number.

Newbie wants to skip the normal 1st airgun starter gun

Hello compressed air enthusiasts,
I am new to the PCP world and wanting to dive in to precision rifle for target practice and plinking. Semi auto, 30 plus caliber, that will work well with slugs and pellets. I already have a Sig Sauer MCX Gen 2 with PCP conversion and a Ruger break barrel pellet gun. I have many powder charged guns, but here in California, it is difficult and expensive to aquire ammunition and I don't want to use up my supplies of conventional ammo for practice and plinking.
My question is, is the Western Airguns Sidewinder appropriate for a PCP newbie, or is there some sort of learning curve that I am unaware of and I should get a "Starter" rifle first? I'm not new to target shooting, just PCP guns.
Cost is not a problem, I just want to sell my unfired Colt Python St. PAUL POLICE 125th anniversary 357 magnum first. I have several unfired collectors items that I can't even enjoy without depreciating the value $1000 just to fire it for the first time. Google the above mentioned Python, it's too beautiful to use!
Any thoughts on my choice of first real PCP?

Air arms Pro sport or hw97k? If you had to choose only 1

Now I've got rid of my hw77k I don't see a point in having 2 air rifles. I just want 1 that il keep. Only one that interests me is the .22 pro sport or a .20 hw97k.

I just shoot pests in my garden. 99% of the time il be shooting 10 to 30 yards.

A pro sport would cost me £950 and a hw97k in .20 will cost £700. The waiting time for the .20 weihrauch will take over 30+ weeks so I won't have it for 5+ months.

"The current lead time from Hull Cartridge and the Weihrauch factory for special order items such as anything laminate or anything in .20cal is 40 weeks!

Machining Plastics - How to Make a Poppet, Regulator Piston Seat, etc

I recently read a thread where @Vetmx made a peek valve seat or maybe it was a regulator piston seat. Anyhow, I’m interested in learning how to do this. Can those of you who have done it, explain the process or point me towards a good resource to learn how to make these parts? Please share materials and equipment used to do so. I’d appreciate it.

Caveat: I’m not a machinist, but would like to learn to make a few simple things.

  • Question
3D printer recommendations requested

I have no idea where to start with this, but would like recommendations for a 3D printer. At first, I want to make moderators and adapters for the 2 working airguns I have, but I don't want to be limited. I am sure once I have a 3D printer, I will find many more things to make/"print". If I live long enough, who knows what I might want to try. (smile)

Price is not necessarily an object (anymore), but I don't want to spend more than necessary to have a good 3D printer. Yeah, I know... (chuckle)

Anyway, since this is the ONLY forum I am active on, I thought I would ask. (smile)

Thanks!

Kerry

Setting up a range at home

Hi. As soon as the weather gets warmer ill start do set up a range home. I have 2 options one that that can reach 150m but Will require shooting the 50 and 100m targets at a downward angle.
And a straight 200m range over a field, but at one point in the summer there Will be cows in the forest 100m behind my 200m target, so im abit sceptical to that one.
But what size targets shoud i get to put on 50, 100, 150 and 200m? I know People talk about moa, but I ha e trouble with translating it over to cm ? What is a respectable/reasonable size target to hit at those range? Will be shooting .25cal M3.
