The rare “Sniper-Squirrel”

Hello everyone,

Beautiful Fall evening in the woods of Deep East Texas and a rare sighting of a “Sniper-Squirrel”. This dude was about 45 yards from me and about 25 feet up in a Pin Oak tree with no leaves. He was so used to hiding in the leaves from me and he hit the base of the tree as fast as he could go and got up about 25 feet and I heard him say, Oooops. Brain shot right in his ear, first kill for my new Brocock Sniper XR .22 cal.

Traditional Rifle  SOLD WTS Weihrauch HW30S

I
I have two HW 30S rifles in .177 to sell. They are both lightly used and in excellent condition. Both have additional inserts for the front sight. The rifle with the peep sight is for $225 plus shipping. The peep sight shown is not included but is available for additional cost. The one without the peep sight is for sale for $200 plus shipping. This rifle is less because it was accidentally dry fired when an undersized pellet fell out while closing the barrel and I did not realize it. It has functioned perfectly since then and has no issues.

Pest Control Pellet or Slugs

Here’s my conundrum…
I’m new to the whole PCP thing I’ve been looking for ages and watched everything I can on YouTube and finally went out and got an fX wildcat mkIII BT .22 with all the info out there I wanted to narrow it down do I shoot pellet or slugs.I’ve started tuning with nsa and Zans between 20.2 and 23 grain as well as Diablo 18.3 which shoot great but lack knock down power at distance. I’m finding it difficult to get consistent groups with slugs which I’m not sure if it’s due to the liner or the speeds I’m shooting or should I try heavier pellets?also being down in Oz were not aloud to use moderators so finding a tune that’s in that sweet spot and keeping the bark down as much as possible has been a tricky process I mainly would be using it for pest control but I have a 50/100/150m range on my property and quite enjoy a bit of targets shooting as well any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Christmas present to myself...lol.

I've had the online subscription to the Blue Book of Airguns for more than a few years but when I went to renew it to find out they've lumped it all into the Blue Book of Gun Values and after trading a couple emails with their staff, it appears there will never be another stand alone edition of the Airgun Blue Book and the 13th Edition will be the last one that covers just airguns, so I went looking and bought myself one brand new off Ebay.
Anyone else buy their own present whether gun, scope, accessories??

PCP Rifle  NLA Evol .30

Looking to sell my evol 30. It’s in near flawless condition, sports a luthAR buttstock, and hogue grip. It’s currently set pretty close to stock, shooting 44.75 jsb for 3 mags.

Gun is light, powerful, and extremely accurate. No leaks at all, and reg is rock steady! Only moving to save up on a high end big bore for the kiddos to deer hunt with.

$2000 FIRM shipped conus in the same case I recieved it in. Will also include 1 factory mag. Scope, rings and sling not included, but can be for additional $.

Will I trade? Absolutely! But the only way I’d do an even trade is if the rifle you are trading me is worth what mine is. I won’t be trading a $2900 rifle for a $1700 rifle even. If you want to use new price tags on the rifle you are trading on, I’ll do the same and the difference can be made up in cash.

Any questions or more pictures, message me.

I’m an established member here, and have 100% positive feedback in the classifieds.

PCP Rifle  SOLD Professionally Tuned Marauder Custom Shop Huma Regulated, Lothar Walther 177

Looking for a Hunter Field Target rifle??

Selling a used, but excellent Marauder Custom Shop 177.

Removed the crappy factory regulator and machined a new plenum spacer and spacing collar to be able to install a new Huma regulator. This was a serious upgrade, the Huma is significantly higher quality than a factory crosman regulator.

This gun has the LW .177 Full length target/ match grade barrel. It doesn't disappoint accuracy wise. Stellar performance.

The valve has a modified poppet and spring, it allows for easier opening and better flow.

The guy has a light weight hammer, custom made by me. It's less than half the weight of the factory hammer. This is necessary for a precisely tuned FT gun. It softens the shot cycle, breaks a shot much faster than factory, wastes less air.

This gun also has an SSG, made to consistently launch the hammer with the same speed and strength. The freeflight can be adjusted, but it's set perfectly for Hunter class as is.

The trigger has been polished and adjusted as well.

It is stellar, not in perfect condition, but very usable and stupid accurate.

Tune would be $120
Huma Reg $120
Rifle : $700
SSG $50
Lightweight Hammer: $50
Valve work: $35
Trigger work: $45

These are the costs of what this gun would be. If you sent it to me for this exact setup. It has handling marks, but it does shoot amazing, has stellar consistency and is in a super usable package.

Shooting heavies (10.34gr @900fps)

Finally gave up.....bought a air rifle

I personally had enough of the craziness of trying to find (or pay outrageous prices) for .22 ammo. I spent a couple of weeks researching the internet for a quality air rifle. With the gun and scope on the way Im looking forward to getting back into some target shooting.

YOU LUCKY SQUIRREL SHOOTERS, KILLERS. But maybe not?

I read so many posts about shooting squirrels on this forum and wonder why such a big deal? Well I now know you all have serious problems with them. My wife is from Louisiana, I'm a Yankee in Washington...sucks I know.not that's she's from LA but that WA now sucks. However...the squirrels here on the Olympic Peninsula are small and present no problems. I, as a kid shot one and tanned it and made a puppet for my kids.

You guys who have huge squirrels and can eat them is difficult for me to understand. Everyone I know say they taste good but is it worth such a small chunk of meat? I guess so according to my wife. They are protected here in WA.

Some here on this forum stated that you've killed 20 this year...I'm interested in knowing who has killed how many this year? How can these critters come back with you few who knock em off? :)

Just having fun on AGN. Nothing to thak serious tonight.

Traditional Rifle  NLA Pair Of IZH 61's *lowered last time*

Got a couple IZH 61's I'd like to offload as a package deal.

First is a plastic receiver 61 that has been converted to a PCP... Yep. Springer converted to PCP. Includes fill probe as well as what I believe is the full box of parts to convert this back to a springer. Purchased conversion kit from a fellow in Russia years ago. Chronies at 500fps with 8.44 gr. Fill probe is a little fiddle as well as cocking. Fill probe could stand new o rings. Had been holding at 120ish bar for years. It may have leaked down to that or I could have just stored it at that pressure. Unknown.

Next is a steel receiver 61 unmolested as far as I know.
Chronies at 430fps with 8.44gr

As with the other ad, I cannot speak to accuracy on either, except from memory. I've not shot them in years save for the quick chrony testing just prior to posting. I recall of no accuracy issues with either. Each includes one clip.

Would like to sell this as a package deal for both guns, as well as the box of bits to convert back.

AEA  AEA AKA YAJ

AEA also known as YAJ (Yet Another Jam).

My AEA (whatever that stands for) had yet another jam, after the many jams I had before.

A design is deeply flawed if a bad magazine will make your trigger fail.
A failing trigger will put holes in the places you least expect (like a window).
If you are lucky it is only a window.

And that is what happened again today to me.

My AEA HP SS had many trigger failures in since I acquired it 1-2 months ago.
Today I realized that there is a trigger failure quickly, since I had plenty of experience,

I went in a safe place,
removed the stock,
got my forceps (a tool used by doctors) and picked up the pellet stuck behind the trigger.

If you want to deal with that, go buy an AEA airgun.

FX  .25 FX King Initial Set-up & Pellet Test Complete - Ready for long range testing and set-up

I spent most of the last two days working on my .25 FX King, setting it up and testing 10 different slugs across two velocity platforms. Some will be critical because this initial testing was only completed on my 18 yard indoor range, but my experience over the last couple of decades is that if I can't get the combination to shoot sub MOA at 18 yards (.18"), it certainly won't shoot sub MOA at 100 yards. By eliminating wind, lighting, temperature, and other variables, I have never failed to come really close to the ideal regulator, velocity, and ammo combination using the indoor close range set-up, and then fine tuning once I get outside and apply to longer yardages.

The .25 King came in from Utah Airguns with the reg pressure not even up to 130. It was shooting the 33.95 gr pellet at about 920. As referenced below, I boosted the initial slug test reg pressure to about 139, setting the macro setting at 23, and the micro setting at just over 3. The test results can be seen below, with the H&N Heavy Slugs in .249 shooting the tightest 10 shot group averages.

I then boosted the Reg pressure to 150, and set the micro setting up to just under 3 1/2 and shot the 33/34 grain slugs, boosting the micro setting to about 3 3/4 for the slugs >34.5 grains.

All of the results can be seen below. It is really interesting to see which slugs had the groups open up, and which ones the groups tightened up with the velocity increase.

My plan is to leave the rifle set-up as is, and as the next step, test the four slugs shooting the tightest two 10 shot group averages at the longest distance available to me, which is just over 84 yards. Once I determine which one performs the best (shoots the tightest 10 shot groups) at the longer distance, I will set-up my dope chart and lock in my scope adjustments for that particular slug combination, after I play with the velocities for that combination a little more, to be certain I have it optimized.

For those interested, the last test I did today was to see how many shots I could get before it fell off the regulator, starting with a 250 BAR fill. It dropped off the reg on shot #30. I can live with that given the power output I am getting.

Also, I was really impressed with the appearance and packaging of the Alteros slugs. Not being a hollow point, I don't what the terminal effect difference will be on game, but they are certainly pleasing to the eye to look at and extremely consistent in appearance and performance.

I will report back with the 84 yard test results once time and weather permit. Given winter is starting to make its presence known, it may be a while before conditions are right.

Traditional Pistol  NLA A Few Crosman 13xx Builds *Prices Lowered last time*

Got a few old school Crosman 13xx builds I'd like to offload.

First up is a hodgepodge of parts. 1377 with B50 .177 Barrel, Crosman Steel Breech, Ralph Brown grips and stock insert. Unknown maker adjustable piston. Could use a going over. The o ring for the bolt is improperly sized and for whatever reason, I used some dental floss under it and a 'tag' sticks out. Get a proper sized o ring. Holds air and chronies at 610fps with 8.44gr on 10 pumps.

Finally is another 1377 converted to .22 with a Crosman Steel Breech, Ralph Brown grips, a QB7x rear site, some sort of brake with a front site (not a moderator), and adjustable flat top piston that needs o rings. Steel pins with e clips at the pivot. Currently chronies at 385fps using 16gr at 10 pumps.

I cant speak to the accuracy on any of these as it's been years since I've done anything with them save for the quick chrony shots prior to this add. Chrony numbers are an average of three shots. All have been modded years ago so who knows what's been done. Some have trigger shoes as shown. Ralph Brown is gone unfortunately so these grips are unobtainable except used.

May be open to an interesting trade, never hurts to ask.
Also, with the green one is a stock that fell over and broke at the grip... I never tried to repair it and instead got the insert.. but I'll include the broken stock as well as the one pictured. If you can fix it, good on you!
