Other  Good .22 for slugs?

Hi guys I'm looking around for a .22 rifle or bullpup. I'd like one that handles slugs well, if possible. Secondary features I'm looking for are it being a repeater, and having a decent shot count. It's been a little difficult tracking down opinions on this. Are there any guns like this currently available that you would recommend?

FOOT PUMP for PCP's?

After years into this activity I'm always surprised that I've never seen a HP foot pump. I'd think a foot pump would be far easier to operate & generate the force needed for pumping up a PCP. Thoughts anyone?
EDIT: I've definitely lost upper body strength & KNOW my legs are much stronger. I just figured with leg strength plus full body weight a "foot" operated pump might be easier (not that I need a pump, either hand or foot). Just curious.

Another precision sport

This sport with a bit more "Twang" it in.
Seem like if you are a archer with Olympic aspirations, well there is one Danish kid you will need to beat.

I really need to go and try archery some day soon, i have just by chance learned where there is a local club, so might swing past there some time this summer.

PCP Rifle  NLA HM 1000x .22 cal reduced.

H M1000x, .22 cal. $1375 plus shipping.
I bought this TM 1000x LRT from AirForce Airguns November 2022. No Shroud. I haven't shot it much because it's just to loud. Yep, even with a moderatetor. I rigged a make shift shroud and with it it was almost OK. I am not having much fun shooting this gun, probably less then 1000 shots or so. I've shot a mix of 18.1 and 25.x g pellets, I haven't touched the regulator only adjusted the spring to change power.
1 Right hand mag, 1 left hand mag and 2 left hand CARM magazines. Not a big deal for a right-hand shooter to use the left mags. I managed to put nicks on the barrel collar near the muzzle, cosmetic only and a touch of black will fix it.
Scope not included.
No PayPal. Velle, personal check, USPS Money order, CashApp.com

Do you wear your Reading glasses while using a scope?

a novice question, but i was wondering how many of you wear your readers while shooting?
I was doing some chrony work and writing some notes when i looked into the scope with my readers and noticed how blurry it was. I know my eyes are weaker, but wow..that was shocking.
I re-adjusted the reticle to be clear while the glasses are on, and i prefer it this way.
But, while i wear the glasses, everything down range blurs....bi-focal safety glasses?
Opinions and suggestions for eyewear?

I respectfully request that this not be moved to classifieds as there are a bunch of people there that do not contribute knowledge and experience to the actual forums and the point is to pay the active membership back for their contributions.

I apologize to anyone I may have offended on any post with my straightforward nature. I intend to modify my personality here so that nobody gets their feelings hurt on this internet airgun forum and hopefully as long as I approach things the way I am told to approach them by other grown adults I will be allowed to participate.

Brocock/BRK  BRK Ghost - the most current update

Sorry, I personally do not have one. Regretfully, I have no information to share, but in fact I am seeking some. It is rumored that Brocock is theoretically coming out with a updated Ghost that will be primarily a slug shooter with an unchoked barrel. Same rumor claims it's unveiling at the Brittish shooting show this weekend. If that is the case, my question to HP Ghost owners is this: Has you Ghost been able to shoot slugs effectively and how much power were you able to attain without crazy custom adjustments to it? What was the respective power yield for each caliber? Because it offers the question, is the rumored Ghost 2 with the unchoked slug barrel needed if the original was giving strong performance?

Optics  SOLD Hawke 10-50x56 ED scope 1/4 MOA

STILL CLEANING OUT MY SAFE.

$350

These have been one of my favorites for a while.
After reading a review years ago by Percula, I decided it was going to be my first upgrade on optics.
Percula gave the Sidewinder winner status against the Sightron SIII 10-50x56 that so many people love.
Back then these were $800-900 street price.

The Hawke 1050X60 ED Sidewinder is a good scope.
Very Bright!
Good resolution for a high magnification scope. It matches my Golden Eagles on resolution. That surprised me when a friend and i did comparisons this weekend.
Contrast is where the Golden Eagle will win. But hey they are now listing for $2799!

This is a good scope at a great price. I currently have 2 and only need one.

This one has the end caps and 3" sunshade.
It comes with 1/4 MOA turrets, if you prefer 1/8 you can find them on Ebay, I did on my other one.

This one is not quite as clean as my other one, I bought this one about a year ago used and the previous
owner is not a meticulous as I am.
There is wear on the turrets and this does not have the large Parallax wheel or the original box.
But it functions beautifully and just came off of my 25 meter competition gun.

N/A  Brass barrels

I had always operated under the assumption that brass barrels were inferior and that the only reason they were used in certain airguns was because of their soldered construction, then last night I was reading an old review and comparison of a Sharp Ace vs a Sheridan Blue Streak where Tom Gaylord mentioned that they were superior to steel since they do not rust.

Just wondering what others here think about them. Any long term issues with accuracy vs steel? I’d be thinking that being such a soft metal and with the way kids sometimes treat things that there must be a ton of Benjamins and Sheridans with mangled bores out there.

PCP Rifle  SOLD RAW .30 LRT resealed and tuned, with extras, Lost of extras! $1600

Hi Guys,

I have decided to make some room in my safe and have put up my RAW .30 cal up for sale.
This is a package deal with everything on the table.
5 magazines, 2 moderator lengths, 2 stocks, 1 1/4 tins of 44.75 pellets, and Anschutz Pickatinny adapter.

For everything in these pictures I am looking for $1600 + shipping

So now for the details
This is a RAW LRT made by Martin, notice the wood trigger guard.
Personally I find this more desirable than the metal trigger guard.
I was contemplating doing a fresh refinish on the stock as it has become almost a green laminate now.
And thought as many guys like the green I would leave it.
I recently had it completely resealed and in the process my tuner and I had a discussion and he convinced me that it would
be good to go with a new HUMA regulator.

Also included is the Sporter stock I refinished years ago.
I changed the trigger guard to match the LRT stocks, and decided to try and stain it.
It was a lot of effort, but it came out good.

Next up the Moderator,
The stock moderator is 2 chambers, and can be a bit loud with a .30 cal.
So I called Martin up and asked "by chance would you sell me extra chambers?"
He replied no problem how many do you want?
I bought 3 and it is amazing the difference, it takes a 30 cal RAW and makes it backyard friendly.
I then found the exact twill Carbon Fiber tubing that RAW uses and bought several feet.
It also makes it extremely long so that is where having the stock length moderator is still good.
You currently have 2 lengths, but there is a spare piece of the tubing that could make a 3 length of 3 chambers.
I never did this because I liked the 5 chamber design so much.

Magazines,
I like to read so I have always bought many magazines. Oh wait wrong type of magazine. hahaha.
I have a total of 5 magazines and if you have ever bought RAW magazines you know this is not cheap.
I have 4 right side magazines and 1 left. I bought the left as I was experimenting with a scope that had clearance issues at the time.

Anschutz adapter,
This will allow you to use pickatinny for a bipod, which I imagine most of you will go for.

Stock Regulator will be included as well.

If you do the numbers you will see this is a smoking deal as this package would be very expensive to replicate.

Let me know if you have any questions.
