PCP Rifle  SOLD AV Avenge X .25 priced to sell

Here is a perfect rifle ready to scope and shoot. Comes with what you see. I don’t have the box but will include the soft case to protect in shipping. 8 magazines one is a high capacity. She holds air and shoots well.
The gun is all stock with nothing except the hammer spring adjustment done to shoot Jsb 25.39 pellets at 870. Selling to make room in the safe plus she’s too big for me I like carbines. $300.00 shipped CONUS. Zelle or PayPal . I did make a hunting video with it:) see what she can do.

FX  Love my M3

I haven't shot my M3 in a couple months as I've been occupied with my powder burners for deer season . I took the M3 out the case today and it was still at the exact amount of air it had when I cased it up. I topped it off with air and shot it some on my range.....I shot a full clip at 50 yards at one bullseye with unsorted pellets 33.95.... from the first shot to the last it made a nice hole in the target. I've noticed some of the FX haters lately ragging on the Impact but the fact is, it's a hell of a gun when you learn to tune it properly. When I first got it, I will admit it was aggravating trying to get it dialed in as I didn't know what the hell I was doing.... but once I finally learned how to set it up properly, it's Awesome now.....:)

You know a gun has gotten under your skin

when you realize you have a Love/Hate relationship with it :)

After the bent cocking arm incident on the TX200, back to chrony work and setting up ballistic data for the gun

had been shooting 8.64's at 860ish..... which is 2-ish ft lbs over the WFTF 12 ft lb limit. some head scratching ensued, then remembered last time I shot the gun in FT competition I shot it in Open Piston, so that didnt matter..... Brain fart and too much time since Ive competed kinda blended memories and I thought I was OK for Worlds power levels

The 8.64's shoot well from that gun, at that speed. So now Im shooting 10.65's at 715 giving 12.11 ft lbs...

Have some 9 grain pellets havnt chronied yet, no idea what they'll do. Issue for me is, the 8.64's are well understood, have a bunch of them. Have no experience with the 10.65's or the 9 grain one..... Did try some 13 gr pels, High 500's for pellet speed....

One thing Ive thought of..... cocking the thing and leaving it a couple days to get it to take a set.

SO I'll ask an old question....Heavy pellet going slow, or lighter pellet going fast?

One thing I did notice, it takes several shots for the gun to settle into a "zone" of acceptable speeds.... the 10.65's started at 738 then another 8 - 10 shots to get it consistently into the 710's. Havent seen that behavior before. for a few minutes was thinking my seal or spring (12 lb kit...) was toast.

Yea... Love /Hate... :)

PCP Rifle  SOLD LH Daystate Air Ranger .22 $600 shipped OBO

$600 with the scope, $500 shipped without it.

For sale is a daystate air ranger .22. With the burris 4.5-14x42 Droptine. Going off of looks, the rifle is not in mint condition, but it works without hiccups. I have 2 mags for it, it holds air forever and it shoots great. I've taken iguanas with it out to 50yds shooting 22gr javelins, and 25gr H&N HP2. It gets about 4 mags give or take, and I chronied 3 shots when the bottle was at 155bar guven 879, 877, 879 with the 21gr javelins in .218 size. At 230b fill it's putting 42fpe shooting the 21gr javelin at 946fps, you get about 34 good shots.

Now the stock was fixed by the previous owner, but it would like some TLC. I had in mind doing some light sanding, staining and waxing, but ai have zero experience in that and I honestly have no time for it. Also it is a LEFT handed, but if you shoot from a bench or window, you won't have any problems shooting with your right arm.

I will post more pictures once I get a chance to post them.

PCP Rifle  SOLD Huben K1 .25 cal adjustable power semiautomatic carbine with padded Bulldog carry bag

** SOLD **

This Huben K1 .25 cal 17-shot adjustable-power semiautomatic carbine just came back from Krazcool where I had sent it for a pre-sale tune-up, and for the installation of an easy pellet loading gate. It is low mileage and in fine cosmetic and working condition. It includes one fill probe and a Huben user manual, and it will ship in the original foam-lined Huben shipping box. I'll include a padded nylon Bulldog carry bag with side pockets mostly because the carbine fits so nicely and discretely into the bag.

The price for everything shown is now reduced to $1,250 and includes free shipping anywhere within the continental US.

Everything included is clearly shown in the attached photos.
No trades or counter offers on this one. I'm getting out of airguns this year and am finally down to just a few more airguns and scopes to sell.

Thanks for looking!

Squirrel Invasion

Well, to appease my wife I held out for a long time and did not shoot any of the squirrels that assault our bird feeder. They don't just bother the birds and steal the seed, they destroy the feeders, one after another. But enough is enough so yesterday I killed the four that were always around, skinned them, deboned them and will eat them soon.

But this is the first time I shot squirrel other than in a forest or swamp and I figured I was safe for a while. Not so. This morning there are more, and not just more, but exactly four more. Shouldn't it take longer for them to repopulate? Do they have a quota so only four were allowed by the squirrel police? How the heck did this happen so fast?

I hate squirrels. Well, actually I love them on a plate, but I hate them in my yard.

Airhunter Gerhard wins H&N Golden Achievement Award

One week ago our CEO Christian Hirschel awarded Gerhard with the Golden Achievement Award for the design and development of the H&N Slug HP II and Heavy Slug.

"As a designer for HN Sport, I feel honored to receive this accolade, and this was truly one of the best team efforts yet."

Golden Achievement Award.jpg

As a special remembrance, his Precision Marksman victory in the Rocky Mountain Airgun Challenge 2023 was also engraved on the golden trophy.
He won this major event using the H&N Heavy Slug in 34 grain, which makes this achievement even more special for Gerhard.

Golden Achievement Award 2.jpg

By the way: Gerhard is already working on his next award.;)

Question for the Mac-1 Airguns steroid pumper.

Got one that is starting to honk like a goose one the downward pump. I believe it is a lube issue with the pump cup?
If it is, have some secret sauce as well as bottle of Venom lube. If that is the problem, where do you lube them and with what?
If the secret sauce and the Venom lube are not for the pump cup (Venom seems like a stretch)
what are there designed application?

PCP Rifle  FOUND Daystate Huntsman Revere 22 Regulated FOUND

I am retired and live in the Dayton/Cincinatti area and so could drive a fair distance to look it over and pick it up to save on shipping hassle. And of course pay cash. But I am also willing to go the shipping route.

I deliberated on this maybe way too much, there are so many good choices in PCPs available but, came full circle back to the Revere. What do you have?

Y'all check my math

So I've decided to commit to shooting an air gun for PRS and NRL-22 matches. My current laser gun (Delta Wolf .30) won't work because I would have to use pellets for PRS matches (out to 350 yards) and the only magazine option I can find bigger than 8 rounds is a Charlie mag. So I'm 85% sold on a Panthera, but I'm agonizing over .22 or .25. Strelok to the rescue.
I got my dope for my current competition 22lr at 100 yard, 200 yards and 300 yards with the mils for a 10 mph side wind at each yardage. Then I did the same for my .30 Zan pellets in my Delta Wolf. Then I started playing with .22 and .25 slugs and different velocities. The results were pretty amazing (on paper). I also put in some "known good" settings for some of the slugs to try to get more useful data (the .25 Kings at 885 fps, the NSA 31.2gr at 1000 fps). Here is my data, again this is all straight out of Strelok. The numbers are pretty solid for the first two entries, everything else is theoretical. The data points are in mils, not inches.

100y10mph wind200y10mph wind300y10mph wind
RPR 22lr 1070 fps1.91.37.32.414.23.4
Delta Wolf Zan .30 864 fps31.611.73.323.15.1
0.25 altaros ATP smooth 95020.67.81.214.51.9
0.25 altaros atp smooth 8852.40.691.216.71.8
0.22 altaros ATP King 95020.67.81.214.51.9
.22 nsa 31.2g 1000fps21.58.42.816.74.2

So according to this (in theory) the .25 Altaros Smooth has the same BC as the .22 Altaros King so the numbers are the same at the same velocity. Because the .25 is 49.5 gr and the .22 is 40 grains, I feel like I should be looking at the .22 since I should be able to get the slugs up to speed easier with the slightly lighter weight. Plus the magazine capacity will be better with the .22.

In the real world, does the Altaros King .22 perform as well as the .25 Smooth? Are there reasons I should be looking at the .25 over the .22? My initial thought was to shoot the .25 because heavier is generally better when the wind is the biggest factor, but the PRS air rifle rules limit the projectile weight to 49 grains (and 50 grains for .30, so I couldn't use my Zan pellets even if I wanted to). So if I'm limited to 49 grains anyway, I think .22 might be the way to go to get better magazine capacity and maybe the ability to shoot a little hotter for a flatter trajectory. What is a realistic velocity to push Altaros Kings from a 700mm .22 Panthera?

I would appreciate feedback from anyone that has something to contribute. I posted here instead of in the PCP or Ammo sections because I didn't want to open this up to the peanut gallery that just regurgitates what some guy on another forum said about an Impact shooting Patriot slugs at an indoor 300 yard range in Antarctica.

Results  Tulsa Gun Club FT Match report - March 2024

The Tulsa Gun Club conducted its first match on 9 Mar. It was an informal match (read: free) with 60 shots on 15 lanes in preparation for our inaugural match on April 13th.

We had 11 shooters including one first time match shooter, Dubre (dew-bray) Harris; the ever reliable Stan Kaloyanov made the drive from Arkansas, and we had 5 shooters come in from OKC. Dave Cole helped Dubre get his scope set up the week of the match and the result was a very respectable 31. I expect Dubre to be a regular on the FT scene.

It was a chilly 40Deg F at match time of 10:30AM, but at least we had a strong and gusty wind to enjoy. I was hoping to have a Goldilocks match – not too easy and not too hard; and with tips from the ASC crew and watching Brad Troyers interview with Phillip Hepler, was able to pull it off. The hardest target had a 42 troyer and still got 4 hits out of 22 and the easiest targets had 3 misses. The lowest troyer was for the standing lane and the rust of a long winter was clearly a factor. (6 hits/22 shots). The course Troyer was 31.14 with a SD of 4.75. (without wind factored in) As the pictures show, we cut down a minimal amount of trees and the lanes are not clearly defined. Having broken the dams, there were no beavers sighted, but we are wary of a counter attack in the future.

We had 8 Hunter – PCP shooters, 2 WFTF shooters and Mark Welker shot Hunter Springer with a new to him TX-200 fresh from Cameron Kerndt’s magic shop.

The Overall High score was a strong 52 from Rick Cuccio. Thom Davies and Mike Atwell tied for 2nd with 46’s. There were 3 shooters getting practice in for the World championships in Arizona this year, Go get ‘em boys!

We were disappointed (but not surprised) that none of our Texas “friends” showed up for their shooting lessons this month. We will probably still go to Arlington to give them for free. It is understandable that they wanted to BUILD some confidence for the Cajun shoot next month.

Thanks to everyone who pitched in to make this first match successful! The FT family is truly one of a kind.

Matches will be on the 2nd Saturdays from March – November at Tulsa Gun Club, 8888 Mohawk Blvd in Tulsa, OK

Gk1 carbine - first squirrel

So we have almost 1 acre with some elm, maple, and bradford pear trees - and one small black walnut sapling. there is a whole bunch of woods behind us tho, where a plethora of hickory, walnut, hackberry, etc grow, and a healthy family of huge fox squirrels that love to keep to the treeline and mostly out of the yard, except for planting the occasional walnut tree for me! I leave them alone, they stay out of the garden and keep back in the woods.

Now, in the woods with them is a family of nasty eastern greys. However, the greys usually stay away from the creek, and futher back in the woods. This morning, however, my dog saw one scamper up the maple right next to the driveway up to a partially finished drey! Oh no, these nasty dudes are not allowed next to the house - this must have been what dug up the flower pots on the front porch! So with my trusty pup cheeto to keep him treed, I went in and grabbed the gk1 carbine in the garage, lined up the red dot, and popped him twice.

30 minutes later cheeto is munching down on a meaty skinned and gutted carcass, and no more grey squirrels threaten the house!

N/A  Semi-Auto Recommendations

Hi all. I'm looking for recommendations for a .22 semi-auto PCP. I've browsed through the forums and found a few that stand out, specifically the GK1 and AEA SF. I'm hoping to keep the cost below $1300 and would like a carbine-length rifle. The GK1 stands out since I can convert it to a carbine, but, unfortunately can't find an inexpensive conversion option. Thoughts?
