The R10 came in a deluxe version with a longer barrel and a checkered pistol grip as well as a standard model with a shorter barrel (16.14-inches/410mm) and no checkering. These two are the latter.
Got these rifles at auction. One is San Rafael and the other is a Santa Rosa. I believe the Santa Rosa has been tuned by John Thomas. It has his signature cupped hex head forearm screws. Plus it's not twangy....just a thud when fired.
Note the subtle difference in the shape of the forearms on these two.
These were the some of the best Sport rifles Beeman's produced IMO. Lightweight and powerful and not hard to cock, they also have the threaded end cap. Easy maintenance! The big drawback is the screwed on scope rail. I'm definitely not a fan if that! Beeman's attempt to make it lighter came at a price there. The compression tube was too thin to accommodate a dovetail. Compromise!!!
Regardless, these two rifles still look and function well after decades of life. Doc Beeman marketed his line as heirlooms. Here's two that passed the test of time.

I have both, a 54 Diana in 22 and the 34 in 177. Both plenty accurate for 30 to 35 yard hunting needs. BUT, will the 177, with the 8.4 grain Diablos it prefers be enough for rabbit and squirrel. What if the ole raccoon or possum are targeted occasionally?

Please, no thinkers, just those that have had hands on experience with both. at 70 years and an avid hunter, I know placement is everything, and have spent decades doing this with rimfire handguns, but the eyes aint what they once were, and I am dang sure not as steady as I once was!

Hey everybody, I'm completely new to this activity so please bear with my novice questions. First I want to say that my first air rifle was a Gamo Raptor Whisper in .22. I thought it would be relatively quiet but I was wrong. It shoots well at the distance I need it to (10-15 yards) but the noise! Ugh.
I just received My Benjamin Marauder in .22 and a Hawke 2-7 scope. Waiting on rings. My question is, and I'm probably not going to get the terms correct so be prepared for that, if I was to install a regulator in this rifle, what pressure will the existing gauge on the rifle read? Will it still read the rifles chamber pressure? If not how would I know how far to go when filling it up? I'm hand pumping because at this point I won't be using it every day, but I'm not ruling out an electric pump. If your reply is why bother with putting a regulator in if you don't plan on using it that much, I would say that I need all the help I can get with shot to shot consistency, and accuracy. Thanks for anything you have for me.

My father has a Crosman Fire nitro piston in 177. His scope mount came loose, and he asked me to resecure it.

I degreased screws in the rings, mounted it all back up with some blue loctite, and went to zero the scope. I was having a hell of a time getting the thing to group. I suspected cheap scope that came with it was an issue. I mounted that on a PCP and shot 2 good groups.

I then shot the rifle over a Garmin chrono. Wholly hell, the FPS all over the place! The higher FPS shots did group, but the lower ones were thrown all over.

Any ideas what could be causing this? Is it worthwhile to look into it? It’s a cheap rifle, with a horrendous trigger (which I slightly improved with a longer trigger screw mod).

Whenever I fill up my Scuba tank I go through all my guns ..shooting a few groups with each. Usually this takes about a week to go through them all.

It may be little ocd but I do this almost every time I fill up with air.

For me it keeps things fresh, as going from gun to gun you kinda have to relearn each gun. Keeps it interesting and quite fun

Anyone else do this ??

I'm planning to purchase an Acecare 9L tank from Alibaba and equip it with the HP3 Omega valve. I also want to add a 2-meter swiveling kit connection hose from Best Fittings. I'll include pictures at the end for reference.

Main Concern​

The HP3 valve comes with a male nipple for filling the tank and connecting the hose. However, the Best Fittings swiveling kit features a "BEST Fittings 1/8″ BSP Snap Connector" designed to fit an existing 1/8″ BSP DIN cylinder outlet.

Question​

If I remove the male nipple from the HP3 valve, will the outlet fit the snap connector from Best Fittings?

Additionally, my local air filling shop uses either a female or male DIN 300 outlet. Best Fittings offers a 300 BAR DIN Female to BEST Fittings Quick Coupler Socket, which I plan to connect to the end of the hose if I can install the kit.

Also, what is the purpose and size thread of the 7.5k screw in the valve? can this also be used with a hose/kit?

Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

I am reading about people achieving better results shooting slugs at lower speeds with their Impacts.

Just quick question…

Do you simply lower speed with the power wheel or do you retune down to a lower speed with the reg and hammer adjust screw?

Right now I’m shooting .25 slugs at around 970 fps on PW=12. Groups aren’t bad; could be better.

If I wanted to try say 900 fps is it a simple turn down to a lower power wheel setting or is it better to reset the tune to 900?
Hoping I’m being clear on this.

Once again, I'm happy to have bought a D34, this one a .177 T01 from 2002, but....

Once again, I am frustrated with Diana's approach to buttpads for these rifles. Meaning, they don't have one. And most of you will know what a hassle it is trying to shoot a springer well when the butt keeps sliding down your shoulder.

Even my recent T06 D34 has this problem, the only difference being that the T06 has a slick flat plastic plate, and the T01 version has a slick curved butt with some slick-edged grooves added. Both suck.

I have a nice fitting slip on buttpad on a T05 D34, which does work but also is an eyesore. I really don't want to go down that road again with the new rifle.

I'm hoping that there is a screw-on pad that, by chance I'm sure, fits either version D34 stock. I am willing to cut the end of the T01 flat to install a screw on. I don't have the hand skills or even a proper belt sander to try fitting an oversized one.

Hopefully someone out there has found something that works and can share that here.
Honestly, it would probably be a nice catalog item for a buttpad company to come out with. Think of all the D34's out there, and why it's important to good shooting....

After much research, I decided on a Huben K1 over a Western Rattler. After searching google, I was going buy from the a foreign company, but then I remembered reading about Kraz Cool and searched specifically for that website. I ended up calling and ordering a K1 on Tuesday, and it was at my house by Friday. He included a tin of pellets, 200 slugs, a paper mate pen, extra parts, an upgraded pellet hatch cover, and a carbon rod. The customer service is EXCEPTIONAL! I am so happy with it.

I got everything set up and started to shoot right away.

First Impressions

It is a beast with the slugs. It has so much more power than my Maverick sniper.

USE THE INCLUDED PEN WHEN SHOOTING PELLETS!! I thought it was awful at shooting pellets, since it would sometimes not cycle, but it was just user error since the pellets were not properly seated. I even got it jammed and had to use the carbon rod to unjam the barrel before I realized my ignorance about using the pen.

backyard range goes from 20-100 yards, and it seems that once you get past 70 yards, heavier slugs are a bit more accurate.

That is all I have so far.


For anyone with a K1, have you added a silencer to it before?

For sale is my 2016 77K special edition green laminate in .177 cal. Rifle has been tuned by me with custom guides, JM QX4600 spring, delrin O-ring piston seal, lubed with krytox GPL 223.
I recently went through it and relubed it and changed the O-ring, but it really didn't need changing. Chronied afterwards, the numbers were 827 fps average with 6.32 ES and 3.74 SD
with 7.9 crosman premier brown box.
The rifle is set up for scope only, the iron sights were sold in 2016. The front sight blade was cut down and blackened to look better with a scope.
Breech face is polished to seal better against the breech seal.
The trigger sears have been polished and a custom made flat set back trigger blade installed, along with custom washers to take up side to side play on the trigger blade. it break less than a pound. The trigger adjustment screw is cross drilled and a delrin plug installed, so the screw doesn't move when adjusted to your liking.

Rifle only for sale, no scope or mount. I will include a box of 7.9 crosman premiers DIE B I think they are. I will also include 2 extra O-rings
but they won't be needed for a long time.

I have a like new 18” It shoots 18.1@950 like a laser. So I wanted to shoot slugs and I had a 700mm LW poly barrel kit for an Epic Two so I threaded the epic barrel for the evol receiver nut and now it’s a slug shooter. I installed a Huma reg ,as not wanted to adjust the factory reg,and set the huma reg at 150. Wow it loves the 40gr atp at 880-900 and with same settings shot 27 gr 217 H&N vers 2 slugs moa at 100 at 1050 fps. It’s a nice set up able to go back to factory setup. As I clear out my vault, the next one being offered is a beautiful RAW HM1000X-LRT in .25. This rifle is about five years (Pre Airfiorce) old but has never been carried outdoors - only shot of the benches in my indoor and outdoor ranges. It has a very few handling marks but none anyone would notice if they weren't looking for them.

It came back within the last couple of months from Martin Rutherford at Airguns USA as I sent it to him to go completely through it, re-seal it, and adjust the trigger. It is tremendously accurate with the 33.95 Gr series pellets.

The current time stats show a high velocity of 886, low of 876, with an average of 882, an ES of 10, and an sd of 2.3, yielding 58.65 fpe. I have tried higher velocities but this time provided extremely tight groups our to 100 yards.

So I'm building a small unused room (about 10x15) in my house out for my growing air rifle addiction and I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions on killer features that you like or would have liked to build in to yours. So far I have storewall (slatwall) on one end of it for rifle display/storage, some hex led lights for lighting and a sit-stand desk I'm using as a workbench.
