.20 Condor pesting video (s)

I've been playing with a Condor since late July, just couldnt resist their 4th of July sale.

Late yesterday evening I decided to put the PARD on it to see how it would work for getting some pesting footage. The PARD has been on 3 or 4 different guns, never quite finding a perfect fit, mostly b/c I usually use my guns for field target matches and need what a traditional scope offers over what an electronic scope can do. I don't know that the Condor will ever end up getting shot in an FT match, so this PARD might be just the ticket for it. Certainly is convenient to have the laser rangefinder built in when pesting. And recording was made pretty easy as well.

I am fully aware that my editing stinks. Even this pretty crude video took more time to edit than the shooting that went into it. I don't want to be a youtuber, just made this for fun.

All the shots are from one fill on the Condor, it gets about 40 shots/fill.

Furthest in the video was 119 yards (last one), pretty stiff winds.

I included misses and hits.

Beeman  New rifle

Today I took my new Beeman Underlever rifle in .22 caliber and love it with it not so great trigger, however it’s getting better with use. Also for the shooting distance I shoot is usually between 12and 20 yards the Beeman scope is just fine. Spent about 2 hours enjoying getting to know the rifle better. A heck of a deal for the money! The thing I hate most about .177 cal....

...Firearms don't use this caliber size.
This means, if you want to make your own barrel, or try something off the shelf, you are most likely going to get a .172 cal barrel or tube, which is what firearms use.
I really want a rifle that can shoot heavy 177 slugs, but I look at the twist rates and they are something like 1:20. I think it's clear that these gun are designed around traditional pellets.
What's amazing is that a 17hmr barrel is typically 1:9! And, their bullets are much faster than any airgun! Is there anyone out there making a dedicated 177 slugger?

PCP Rifle  SOLD American Air Arms Paradigm – Flawless 33% off retail

The Paradigm by AAA is an Evol wrapped in the most gorgeous and function stock you’ve ever seen. I’d estimate only 200 rounds have been sent down this barrel. It truly is a “safe queen”. I was part of the team that provided feedback when developing the Steve Corcoran stock. In turn this Evol was engraved (1 of 1) with the Airgun Nation logo. Shoots 44g pellets at 875 FPS (75 FPE) and is very accurate.

Daystate  Where To Get Daystate Huntsman Revere Un-Regulated in .22?

I'd like to get an unregulated version of the Daystate Huntsman Revere in .22 caliber so that it has the foster fitting, instead of the probe. Then I'd add a Huma regulator myself to have both regulated and foster fitting, but I can't find the unregulated version in .22. I live in the US. I've looked at AOA's offerings, but this version isn't listed. Does another source in the US exist?

Optics  SOLD UTG Bugbuster 3-12x32 AO reduced price to move! From Ohio reduced.

This 3-12x32 BB, I was going to put this on my HW30s, but decided to go with a 2-7x32 instead. Plenty of power at 12x for the longer range guns, with great reticle and the locking adjustable turrets work great, and simple to zero after sighting in! I used the rings that came with it, so they are not included, and I can't find the sunshade. It is AS NEW, glass is spotless as expected from a new scope. $100.00 shipped on me to continental US. I'll take PayPal NO FRIENDS and FAMILY! It is against forum rules as well as PayPal rules!! Or Money Order and will ship when it clears.

Umarex  Umarex ZELOS Review & Tuning Guide (48 foot pounds in .22) It's a BEAST!

This gun is as good as we hoped it would be. And a power house! Here is a full accuracy review as well as a guide on how to tune it for 25.39gr at 915 FPS using the HST and Reg adjustment. That's 48 foot pounds in .22! (the website says 26 foot pounds). It also says 25 shots per fill but you may get 50 shots + per fill if you turn the power down to shoot lighter pellets. It's shooting 40+ foot pounds out of the box. Thanks for watching! -Nate

FX  FX Dynamic Block Mysterious Screw!!

Hi, I have a panthera hunter compact.22
The seller told me I should uninstall a screw on the receiver to be able to shot the gun.
He said I can only dry fire it untill I remove the screw if I want to shoot projectiles.
The screw is right above the serial number.
The question is, will it really damage any internal components if I shoot while installed ?
I noticed when I remove the tank, I need to dry fire like 6 times to bleed the plenum compared to 1-2 times when the screw is removed.
So, is that somehow partially blocks the transfer port and I can consider it the adjuster of transfer port so if I want to shoot low speeds short range small game with light 13g pellets I can shoot while it's tighten all the way in?
It it modifies the plenum valve or what ?
I tried to read the manual and the info available on the web and YouTube reviews but couldn't find anything about this screw.
Thank you so much.

Umarex  Notos Magazine problem

So this gun has been out for about a year if memory serves me right, and I know most of you are familiar with the problem. Idk how many of you know the reason for the issue so I did some digging through youtube for my own knowledge and to possible spread awareness to those who need it as well. It seems to be both a magazine and probe issue although not all magazines are faulty. Hope the video in link helps out!

HW/Weihrauch  Is having a barrel chopped, choked and recrowned still a “thing” these days?

I had a .22 cal HW barrel done “back in the day” (late 2000’s) and it seemed like it was much more openly discussed then.

Are any of you doing this or having it done to your guns these days?

Im considering purchasing an extra barrel and having it done to a HW30S. Why? Just because I like shorter rifles in general.

Who is the right AG smith to send a barrel to for a nice chop, choke and recrown spa day?

FX  Old Noob Acquired a walnut Streamline .22 today

My old shooting buddy (42 yrs old) drove 680 miles to visit me and to gift me (70 yrs old) his mint walnut stocked Hawke scoped Streamline .22 with Huggett moderator. It is mouse fart quiet in the back yard, maybe as quiet as my moderated AA S200 .177 at 13FPE. In return I am gifting his son and him: CZ 457 Pro Varmint threaded with Arken 34mm scope, custom 10/22 with Melonited threaded Feddersen barrel, custom tuned S&W 642 .38SPL, custom tuned Ruger MKIII 22/45 threaded 5.5 with C-More red dot, moderated AA T200 .177 with Hawk 3-9 Mil Dot and JTS Airacuda Standard .22 with Buck Rail mod and Donnyfl Adapter, and another Arken 34 mil dot scope.

I like trading and paying it forward. We are fishing the next 3 days and after that I will judge the Streamline's accuracy.

I like the Streamline's rifle-like looks, trigger and weight.
