Just wondering what everyone's experiences have been. What have you found to be a bargain, what should just be melted down for lead and what are they selling for per pellet?

I've had very good luck with H&N FTT's in .177, 8.64 gr. and .22 Baracudas in 18.1 gr. I get great accuracy out to 50 yards and beyond with them. All prices here are after factoring in the 4th free tin at Pyramyd. The H&N's are 2.1 cents a shot in .177 and 3 cents in .22. Not super cheap, but not bad either and almost all of my guns like them.

Lately I've also been shooting .22 Norma 15.9 grain pellets at 2.25 cents a shot and 14.3 grain Crosman Premiers at 1.7 cents per shot. No complaints so far, but I haven't really done any bench rest shooting with them either.

One variety I had very bad luck with and now avoid are the Crosman pointeds. I'm not sure what I paid for them, but I got two tins with varying head sizes. Some would easily slip into the breech of my HW30 and others had to be forced in smashing the skirts in the process. They are one of the cheapest pellets out there, but in my experience they still aren't worth it.

I recently noticed that after discounts .177 Norma pellets are less than a penny a shot and I'm planning on buying a few thousand of them.

Looking to sell my very little used .177 DreamTac Compact. I bought this from the owner of 910 Airguns and this was his personal airgun. My plan with this pcp was for night time pigeon blasting but things never panned out. Everything has been worked over on this DreamTac. Does anyone have a recommendation as to which compressor is most reliable for filling large tanks,(74 cu ft). As expensive as they are, I do t want to make a mistake in purchasing.

So Tuesday I placed My Order at MidDay. The Guy on the phone said I would receive it today. So Yesterday late afternoon, I had still not gotten a Shipping notice. I am looking at a compressor to fill my 2 45min scba tanks occasionally. I use a comp to fill my guns but I would like one to fill my tanks probably 4 times a month, just to take tank to matches or when I'm away from my house. I was looking at the Krypton, omega charger. I would think a water cooled would be preferred. I don't want to mess with water buckets so no Yong Heng. 110 only. I welcome any ideas

Outside 22 and 25 cal. They are LW. But what are the”proprietary barrels”? I’m feeling also LW , but with some refining. Am I wrong?

If you must dispatch an animal with an air gun that you want DRT a good 0.22 or better that can reliability penetrate the skull and reach the brain is your best option. More gun isn't going to change a well placed shot to the skull with a decent 0.22. Even with big bores, If you take lung or heart shots there is a significant chance they will run 30 yards or more. Very few air guns have to power of these PB. and the PB often fail to deliver DRT hits.

If you don't mind your neighbor finding dead, or wounded animal in their backyard, please disregard this post.

I went through several high end guns. Eventually, the taipan vet long was that gun. Didn’t even really “feel “ it at first, but it grew on me and still does to this day. The epic 2 is the other. Same general mold. Others had serious quality stuff, just some didn’t grab me. I know “Leon” will be here with the BRK Atomic, and rightfully so! There is no judgement, what was YOUR gem?

I was testing pellet sorting this morning and the HW97 was fantastic. I was shooting from a rest. Top row was sorted pellets, the bottom row was the rejects. Both were pretty good but the sorted ones were a little more precise with fewer flyers.

25 yards, three shot groups so I could see all the shots.

Well... it happened. Looks like the regulator in my 3-year old FX Crown has given up and is leaking air.
Looking for repair shop options in the San Fran/Bay Area to avoid obscene shipping charges and miserable waiting times.
Any help appreciated.
