Benjamin New Pistol

Ordered a custom field target pistol from Airgun Revisions. I have two tins of pellets through it. Added some nice furniture to it today. Amazingly accurate pistol. The 10.3's seem to buck the wind like a .22. Put a Burris 2-7x32 pistol scope on it. Hitting spinners and cans with aplomb in a stiff breeze. Thirty regulated shots. Very satisfied customer.

That’s a pretty expensive pistol built for FT if I’m not mistaken 👍

I consider the P-Rod to be widely under-appreciated. I'm pushing my unregulated .22 pretty hard (20 foot pounds), so get 15-16 shots per charge. The 58 yard brain-shot mentioned in the attachment is no longer my longest air pistol kill, as last week I extended that record to 60 yards with my .22 GK-1 that is producing almost twice the power of my P-Rod. But FWIW, the P Rod is slightly more accurate (.75 to 1" average five-shot groups at 50 yards, versus 1 to 1.25").

I totally agree. Its a little dated but proven design. I think the older barrels had some accuracy issues(so I’ve read) that maybe gave them a bad rap? The newer barrels are awesome. Ive had similar accuracy results with mine. Out to 30ish yards it literately stacks pellets. Slowly opens up to about 3/4-1” average at 50 yards. My latest isn’t pellet picky either.

My latest Prod is regulated and gets 3 mags at a little over 18 1/2 fpe. It’s so light and easy to carry. No problem hitting a golf ball sized target out to 60 yards. Love this gun. I might have to try a pistol build soon. Never really messed with one. Could be nice for my dog walks.
