you would likely really enjoy the 22 caliber barrel then.. I enjoyed shooting even 40 grain slugs at 940 fps out of mine, but the air consumption went way up.. thankful for the compressor.100% agree.
70+ fpe from the .25 Condor SS I've recently been playing with is surprisingly quiet. Turned down to even 55-60 and it's even quieter. I've almost been considering putting a smaller cal barrel in it and getting it around 30fpe for I'm sure impressive quietness.
A .177 Condor SS in the 700-750 fps range is going to be as quiet as most moderated airguns. Especially if the moderator being compared is one of the brands that is better at marketing than they are at hushing.
Another neat thing I'm finding with the Condor SS is that the baffles are all contained in the one piece aluminum frame. There's nothing hanging off the barrel or adaptors or a big long pickle sticking way out there. Condor SS method is a much more robust manner of hushing an airgun than the industry standard of Jerry rigging shrouds and adaptors onto the barrel itself.
