Had mine custom made to my drawings. The 1 1/4” stainless block adds the perfect distance for my LOP and the ST magnetic adapter is bolted onto it. The machinist did a great job in following the contour of the Skout factory butt perfectly!

This design meets three requirements of mine- I still can use my ST rear monopod that I also use on my impact and crown, no fidgeting with adjusting my LOP each and every time I set up, and lastly it gives me weight at the rear. My machinist also made the bag rider out of 1” aluminum and anodized it red to match the guns color. A member here on AGN made the brass inserts for some bling. He did an awesome job.

I want to add, my machinist has all my sketches and dimensions so if you’re interested in any of my parts pm me and I’ll pass on his contact info. The brass inserts are made by AGN member CFS916. He’s been making brass and tungsten parts for AGN members for awhile now, and has always done a great job with anything I’ve handed him to make. He makes great aftermarket cocking handles, btw

Do you have any pictures of the aftermarket caulking handles?

Hey everybody that owns Scouts. I had a quick question..
Has anyone had something called a solenoid circuit fault when turning the gun on?.
I had the happen today after about three shots and it quit shooting. I called Scout initially and they told me to check a couple things but they weren’t quite sure..
I went over all the connections with a fine tooth comb and confirmed, Nothing out of place..
I’ll definitely call them back tomorrow, but does anybody have any suggestions?

How was this resolved? I haven't seen this before.
I've only done the maintance on the part with the drop of silicon oil

They told me to check some of the connections inside the handle, where the ribbon cables connecting the tower that holds the solenoid to make sure nothing has come loose. Everything looked fine and I checked a couple other connections with no success.
So I’ve sent it back to them unfortunately for a repair. I’ll report back if they figure anything out.

Well guys it’s been a couple weeks, but I’m reporting back on my solenoid fault error that I was getting on start up with my gun.
From what I understand from talking to their Tech Support it looks like it was a faulty solenoid circuit. So they’re just replacing that for me and should have it back up and running this week. 🙏

As usual, it’s always a pleasure to deal with the people over at Scout.

Sometimes it will sound like the solenoid has activated but not unbalanced the valve, and others nothing at all, no beep.
Have you looked at the solenoid. Mine did something strange not long after I had got it and I found that 2 screws that hold the 2 parts of the solenoid together had backed out and so the air that was supposed to be going to the valve was escaping. so not enough pressure to open the valve. once I tightened them up worked perfect.

Thanks, yes, checked it about three weeks ago when I put a drop of silicone oil in the solenoid, but it was doing the same before that.

Man, I'm glad someone is getting Skout's attention.
I posed a question to them on 4/21 and got a 'canned' reply that same day stating that it could take up to 72 hours for a reply.
No problem.
On 4/25, I again got that same 'canned' reply. Okay, past the 72-hour mark, but okay.
On 4/28, I got a reply stating that the techs were working on it and it would be answered that day. Never got an email answer from them.
On 5/3, I re-emailed them asking why there was not an answer yet.
On 5/7, I got a reply that did not answer my question but stated that the product in question wasn't stocked. Not my question at all.
On 5/8, They sent me a link to the Skout website that had ZERO to do with my question. I replied stating that, and got another reply. My question is still unanswered.
On 5/9, I received another reply stating that they already sent me the link (the same link from 5/8). I replied stating that the link sent me straight to the Skout site, NOT the manufacturer's site for the needed information on a product that they use on their rifles. They then stated that they don't understand that the link provided wasn't correct.
I then stated that I give up and never received any more emails.

Today, I just tried calling at 12:55 PDT and got a message that the voicemail is full and no more messages are accepted.

Overall, that's what I would call POOR service.

I'm hoping that Skout sees this thread and ups their status, right now, it ain't good!

Just call them and talk to Darryl

always friendly and helpful and always answers my questions.

I don’t bother emailing them. It’s easy just to call. Makes it quick and simple

Also, I have good luck trying your question here. This is a pretty great forum and most everybdy Here is pretty knowledgeable about their guns.

My question is very simple:

My fill-whips have a BSP Female Thread x Female QD. The EVO has a male QD on the rifle. My fill-whips seem loose on the EVO connector, so I asked for the compatible part made by the same manufacturer that they use to make it fit exact.

They show a BSP Male x Female QD on the "Skout Shop" website, but no BSP Female x Female QD. Likely where the confusion is (?).

So, the real question is: Which manufacturer makes the QD parts for the Skout line so that I can get the EXACT same size to fix the looseness?

I have, BTW, already installed brand new O-Rings in all of the fill-whips to see if that helped, it didn't.
