Check out Orion the Iguana Hunter magazines !Installing a carbon fiber cheek riser on my M4 Sniper. Have to do some triming and mounting holes. Also need to order some lefthand magazines. Also working on a custom carbon fiber buttstock monopod. Still collecting the parts for mounting the cheek riser and monopod.

Congrats Champ!I’m looking forward to it![]()
@JaceSpace1369 Pretty much from what I’ve seen in a variety of species. If they aren’t used to certain sounds, how would they know to fear them? This is part of what it means to “educate” an animal. That fear is learned and guess who the teachers are?So that's just a common thing animals share? When I hit iguanas with quiet guns they don't know what to do. But if it's loud they just sprint in whatever direction they are facing.
I thought you bought that kral mortal. So I figured you must be overseas to do so ..I don’t know; I don’t live in the states but I found a user named dnovo on this forum that said this about a year ago:
“Try Krale in the Netherlands or AirgunSource Canada. Both will accept pay in USD and will ship promptly to the US for very reasonable rates. Bought a Kral Empire XS in .25 on sale by Krale for $496 plus $29 For 3 day UPS TO Wisconsin. Avoid some of the Spanish dealers who charge exorbitant shipping rates and do not respond to issues. Both Krale and Air Source Canada are decent to deal with”
You are spot on with 100 bar on the reg. Should sweet spot them right around 900. I tune opposite as some. I choose the reg pressure then on the Maverick turn the internal HS screw clockwise almost all the way in. Start at a very low spring tension and gradually work it up until the velocity peaks and doesn’t go up anymore. At that spot you have a great balance between HS and reg pressure. It’s easy to over shoot that spot a little so once you get close you can tweak it in very small increments to find it perfectly. I always did my tune on power wheel 7 so then you can dial down if you want to. My experience with the maverick and wildcat BT is they don’t perform all that consistently off that sweet spot. You might get one maybe 2 drops on the big power wheel. After that the extreme velocity spread goes all to hell. 100 bar should put you right around 900 on a really good tune with 25.39FX 25.39 - which I think is exact same pellet as JSB Exact King 25.39
So far I really like the stock....I plan on using JFK for a bench rifle and having the adjustable cheek piece was a big help. After playing with it a little yesterday using different make 10 grain pellets it appears to like the H&N 4.52, H&N 4.50, JTS and one other I have written down. I had speeds ranging from 713 with all the way to 760 depending on the pellet used. Very consistent shot spread with the pellets.I see you dropped the coin on the new Ultimate Springer version. Let us know how you like the stock.
Barra finally sent out a RMA to return rifle and I received a new one that feeds pellets without binding in the magazine. When I registered it they told me to write an honest review and get a tin of pellets. I wrote an honest review of my experience and they said it didn't meet there parameters. Go figure, too cheap to send out what they offered.Just got replacement magazines today. Same issue, this time the bolt would bind before the pellet cleared the magazine. I got the bolt retracted but now the pellet is partially in the magazine and in the barrel and now I can't remove the magazine. The problem must be an out of spec rifle. Now waiting to see what Barra will do about it.
I'll give it a run & report back. I'm leaning more towards "traditional " airguns than the tactical stuff anymore . Wood is nice & I don't mind the bolt(s).You will like it, the bolt slicks up really nice after break in I actually like it just as well as my side levers after I got it broken in. Only thing I dont really care for is the safety on the left side of receiver hard to reach around and flick off and its fairly stiff. They should put it at back of receiver like Daystate has theirs. If you have long fingers likely will not be a issue, while I have fairly big hands they are thick with short fingers and can not reach around receiver.
