The crow magnums have a bad rep, but they fly great from this M3, they were terrible in my laat delat wolf, have not tried them in my current one, but .5 in groups at 50yds in my m3, the trophy himters and jsb are a bit tighter, but not much. I have been sniping rats at night from aboit 60yds through a horse panel fence,2x4" holes. It has been doimg surprisingly well with the crows, i have a few tins left to burn up before i go back to the trophys or jsb. The slugs i feed my delta wolf.
never know till you try them, I shoot 27gr H&N hollow point slugs out of my M3 .22 and they shoot extremely well. I was thinking you're probably smoking some critters with those H&NS lol

LPVO vs Prism

Again, not what "beating a dead horse" means.
And I did contribute, I gave you my opinion to your inquiry...remember, you even tried mocking it by using "ironic" incorrectly?
He didn't say prisms were perfect, and he didn't say there was no room for lvpos, and nobody is expecting you to apologize for disagreeing with him. I don't know if you genuinely don't understand what you did wrong, but having an opinion or disagreeing with one isn't it.

Let me spell it out for you - it's your dismissive attitude towards a person who is trying to help you. You ask for help, for opinions. Someone offers you their opinion, opinion you asked for, mind you. Your response to a subject you inquired about (keep in mind, you didn't start this thread as a debate, you asked for opinions) is "Yeah, I disagree, but whatever floats your boat". He then asks why you even ask for an opinion if your mind is made up, to which your response is "opinions and information was presented over the last 16 hours that brought me to my decision". You are telling a person who did nothing but try to help you that since you have made up your mind based on information you gathered in 16 hrs, his opinion was no longer relevant to you. Are you starting to understand what my problem is? He told you what he thinks and why he thinks it, with valid reasoning I might add. Even if you understood what he said and disagreed with it, he deserves more than "yeah, whatever" from you. You went from "Any and all input welcomed" to "I know enough to not care about your opinion" in 16 hrs.
Let it go man. Stop being confrontational. No matter how many times you tell me I don’t understand what words mean, it doesn’t make it true. Stop harassing me. Really. Time to let it go. You’ve made your point, and I disagree with it, but whatever floats your boat.

Going to tell me I’m not using that phrase correctly now? I’m gonna do you the favor of blocking you because not seeing anything you say is more valueable than anything you can say. Peace out. Enjoy your day.

Hatsan  21" Jet barrel upgrade

Here is my solution to barrel whip and sight slippage. It also allows me to keep sight if I remove the barrel to replace orings. If you really consider the Jet design, it's not good to bridge the scope and is common sense that it should be 100% a part of the barrel.

A lot of airguns do not utilize this most basic, stone age concept. How on earth breakbarrels keep sight I don't know. A .005 mm misalignment at the barrel pivot grows to like 30 mm+ downrange (exaggerating.) Having a scope on anything but the barrel, it's just kinda primitive to me.

Daisy  daisy 851 rebuild went not quite right. any advice?

My Daisy 851 was leaking so I bought a rebuild kit for the 853. everything looked pretty much the same but now after reassembling it, the first shot is quite weak, but if I cock it again (not repump) then it will shoot again a lot more strongly, and sometimes it will even do this a third time on the same pump. I have not tried a bb or pellet in there because I'm afraid that first shot might be too weak to shoot it out. IT's supposed to release all it's air on the first shot so this is really weird. what have I done wrong?

FX  Fx impact m4

I would get the 700mm .22 with the heavy 1:18 twist liner u can shoot pellets Accurately as longer u keep the speed under 900fps with 16-18gn 950fps on heavier 25-28gn, use slugs 100+ yards. .22 are fun to plink and more ammo selection, and cheap. and quieter. I have all caliber but the .22 i shoot more often. But in 100y bench-rest competition .30 is my caliber.

Simple Pellet/Slug Catcher

I have the same setup but I got a 2X4 and cut it to size so I have two layers at the bottom so it doesn’t penetrate through. You can pick up scrap 2X4 at Home Depot for free If you’re lucky. For the lid I cut open and put a few layers of 5mm bubble wrap and a piece of cardboard on top to hold everything in. Works great. Super quiet vs a metal .22lr target box.

Airforce  How do I remove this?

Yep, success. I didn't realize there was a second 'hidden' screw. The exposed screw went thru the upper, so it wasn't obvious there was a 2nd

...I was attempting it before work, not a good idea. Glad I took a few to look harder later on & didn't go medeival on it.

Also thnx fot bringing that video to my attn, I wasn't aware of it.

The trigger assembly self-disassembeled. I ordered the upgrade to install anyway so may need the tech support
Made the exact same mistake I made, that 2nd screw is not obvious.

Theoben  Process of Elimination

You’ve only got one .25 and one short barrel, so I’d keep those.

The green laminate is beautiful, but it’s not what I associate with Theobens. It looks more modern. The stocks are interchangeable though, right? Maybe keep that stock and choose the least remarkable of the others and the worst shooting of the .22’s and combine them.

FX  Fx m4 tuning .22 slug 30gr

Not 100% out of the box but I shoot 30gr HN out of a .22 heavy liner (700mm) at 900 accurate as hell. 130b, HF TP and pin probe, micro a little under 4 3/4, valve adjuster 3.5ish (can measure properly if needed). Didn’t want to mess with the tune since it’s the same for my .25 barrel with 34gr pellets and slugs, but 900fps in .22 was/is plenty fine.

Carving a Redwolf Walnut Stock

That also lets you do the reverse - save that beautiful stock from any adventure you go on that has a high risk of damaging it . . .

Like... shooting Extreme Field Target competitions featuring shooting lines in the middle of giant mud-holes?🤢

Hey, the worst/deepest of those mud-holes have now been reinforced with crushed stone; so I don't expect to lose many more of my (paying) shooters to quick-sand. 😲

That said, Red Wolf HPs are long enough to considerably extend the reach of any sinking shooter (meaning bull-pup shooters are at greatest risk).

New addition

(y)! I switched over to larger handles on all 3 of mine a couple years ago, made by someone here on the forum (Chan, cfs916). Made a great difference in feel & acquisition of lever without my eye ever leaving the scope. Love the way they look too. Aluminium & brass.View attachment 531133
Right on, my Delta Wolf has a fat handle already, but it certainly feels better on the Impact.
