FX M3 Sniper .22ca. Doesn't get much better.

have all 3 caliber impacts 30 uses quite a bit more air and around the house a bit too much out in the country if i had yote problem
or coon issue then the 30 Cal would be my choice in 600mm.
my 25 M3 600mm is my preference over .22 also 600mm barrel is good in the brush vs swinging a 700mm those imo are best for bench shooting.
slugs have come a long way in 25 imo i feel they shoot just as accurate with more wallop, in competition for points .25 they're at a disadvantage
25 makes a bigger hole than 22 so imo that's what makes the .22 more popular.
more power just as accurate bigger impact same price imo.

I’m out of the FX game but wanted to share. This is an absolute deadly combo and opens up a variety of molds for those who like to cast their own. First is the brownells liner, takes very little to fit into any FX liner gun, and the next are match grade RWS 22lr bullets. I still have the RWS slugs and shoot them in an Evanix K550 at about 900 FPS. They do fit in the deep FX mags from what I remember, definitely fit in the eagle vision mags.

The great thing with the Impact I that you can change your caliber later if you decide. I got a .22 cal since pellets are more easily accessible. Neither Cabelas, Farm and Fleet or Walmart sell .25 cal but they all sell .22 and if you start shooting a lot you may find yourself bummed out on a weekend unable to just drive and grab a tin or two.

Needing a little help I'm fixing to order a fx impact m4 trying to decide on 22 or 25 won'ting to shoot 50 yards out to 150 or 200. Help me decide. I already have a airforce condor ss in. 25 and a airforce texan big bore. But been won'ting a fx really bad lol.
I would get the 700mm .22 with the heavy 1:18 twist liner u can shoot pellets Accurately as longer u keep the speed under 900fps with 16-18gn 950fps on heavier 25-28gn, use slugs 100+ yards. .22 are fun to plink and more ammo selection, and cheap. and quieter. I have all caliber but the .22 i shoot more often. But in 100y bench-rest competition .30 is my caliber.
