You need heavier hammer weight to over come the higher reg pressure or heavier hammer spring or combination of both more hammer weight and stronger spring

100% agree with you, but im the kinda guy that will push the button that says don't push this button...lol...plus no one makes a replacement for it. So if i can make it better and more reliable, then why not try...I get the risks, im willing to accept them for the science and for those that want an alternative to using the probe....Sorry you had to learn the hard way! THAT'S exactly why I never ever screw with the integrity of the Original air supply. The pressures we deal with are no joke! Really glad no one got hurt.
There isn't a gauge? The reciver gauge if it's still there should read the plenum pressure I would think? now that there's a regulator up front. I have had no issues with my hp 50, except It didn't want to hold 4500psi for a while until I added a few drops of silicone oil into the fill probe. That also fixed my sf now that holds 4500psi like it should as well (thats where i found that suggestion on an sf chat on this forum). I highly recommend like 2-3 drops of silicone oil occasionally just before you fill it with air. It's not going to hurt anything, it will condition the seals and make them work better. Good luck. EnjoyI recently purchased a Bintac M50C with regulator and the 22" barrel and 500cc tank combo options.
The Bintac M50C big-bore airgun is based on AAE's HP MAX bolt action offering, with options for 13" and 22" barrels, larger tanks (based on barrel length 350cc for the 13" and 500cc for the 22" barrels ) and a choice of adding an externally adjustable regulator.
I'm trying to figure out what the regulator is set at. So, hopefully, someone here can answer this, and possibly other questions about this particular big-bore PCP airgun.
Also, I hope to get info on issues and how to resolve them.
I haven't had a chance to take it out, yet; due to weather. But, I'm really looking forward to it.
With what I have for pcps, AEA 357 side lever and .308 Texan I don't like going below 940 fps with 150gr I could go heavier but then it doesn't fit my needs. mine are considered mid bores now.OK in the big bore category, what is ur minimum fps for your heavy ammo?examples of different calibers would like to hear
They had a like new condition mutant on AoA and it was priced very appealing , I think it was a little over $600.00Negative. Got it in PM on here. Did they have a Short Mutant on AOA? Ive seen quite a few Taipans for sale on AOA lately for good deals.
Yeah Ive got 10 pcps already really dont need another one.. would like to have a R10 SE in .177 though. They’re reasonably priced, so I’m tempted as well but don’t want to add more guns![]()
Beeman was a great dreamer. The Feinwerkbau company did not produce any minis, only the Juniors models.I found Beeman's 1986 catalog that may provide a clearer picture of this topic.
Beeman's literature calls it the Mini (with the word Junior in italics) especially on the order page.
Thanks for the comments.

My recommendation would be the Vector optic.10 shots at 50yds. I'm happy with the tune. I was shooting for group. Now to get it zeroed. I'm using a Vortex 3-9x40 and can tell that I need more scope. My 50 year old eyes were struggling. So I guess I'll start doing some research on scopes.
Thank you very much I will definitely try out RWS pellets I just ordered a tin of Meisterkugeln pellets. My grandfather had a Diana model 45 and a Gamo Hunter 440 that we used to plink cans with so I have always had a connection to these two breakbarrels.Hi adam - the RWS 45 was also my first serious adult airgun. Absolutely wore that sucker out in the '80s. And then two days ago on a warm spring afternoon I pulled it off the rack for the first time in years and it was like travelling through the wayback machine. Hadn't shot it in a really long time, but the experience confirmed that it is still as fine a springer as anything in its niche. RWS Superdomes were the pellets that the vendors, Gerry and Carol Thomas, recommended and they were superb as were the 7.9 Premiers and H&N offerings. Today it seems to shoot well with any quality pellet, although you might want to try the RWS first.
enjoy your fine airgun!
(Edit)This group is 6 yards off a sand bag with slugs. 1st magazineGot the viper .30 last summer. It's been a good pistol to have fun with. I run slugs and pellets. One magazine is missing the external spring so I run rmr bullets 2nd quality "slap" slugs. They are super affordable and hit the target. The other magazine with spring gets jsb or aea pellets. 44-45 grains for all ammo. It has a holosun eps carry reflex sight. Optional moderator. Weighs under 3 lbs loaded. Over 3 lbs with moderator. Tricky to sight in because each shot changes velocity as you loose air, so I have it set to get as close as possible but poi changes with each shot. You can absolutely hit your mark but then they will start to move away from center. It makes 30 lbs give or take. Velocity was taken with slugs. 10 shots per fill last shot 486 fps. My reason for going with this pistol was that the magazines can be removed and the gun can be de-cocked.

Thank you. I got those mixedd up with Daystate RangeMasters. I did put a correction in the pinned comment. I always get at least one thing wrong per video. That's how I roll. Thanks for the technical help! -NateNice! I want! Daystate Howlers are made by NSA (Neilsen Specialty Ammo), not JSB just so you know.
My hand pumping friend tried it and he couldn't figure it out either. He yas only ever used the hand pump, and is fairly new to this himself. But i think the advice I've gotten here will help when i try again tomorrow. Thank you. These compressors work, however, they've fallen out of favor due to a 12-18 month lifespan and limited rebuilding success. As charlie99 said, best way to test compressor is to deadhead plug (pictured) end of fill whip (hose) and pressurize system. A good compressor builds and holds pressure after shut-off. MAKE SURE TO RELEASE PRESSURE BEFORE RE-STARTING COMPRESSOR. Check spare parts that came with compressor, deadhead plug likely included. Knowing the gun takes air and if compressor checks out might be a problem with hook-up to gun. Would handpumping friend be available to verify proper hook-up? WMView attachment 550976
