FX  FX REVOLUTION DISASSEMBLY PROCESS - THE ONLY GUIDE ONLINE

I got one from AOA too back then when the Rev first came out and it's part of the reason, along with the 1st gen Impact years later, that I stopped buying FX. Both were infuriating in each it's own ways.

Finally, after the 3rd time back to AOA, due to seemingly unfixable problems, I traded in the Rev on a Royale which has been a good rifle.

I'm glad others are more patient and mechanically inclined than I am!

AEA .35 cal 110gr pellets

I'm building a BR gun using these. I've managed an 850ffps tune, but haven't accuracy tested yet. I'm glad to see they can be accurate enough at 100yds.
We are still going to do some fine tuning. We want to try a heavier hammer weight so we can get the hammer spring backed off, and also see if a faster speed is even more accurate with no spiraling or flyers.

We haven’t held for wind yet, or shot any cards for score. That is coming hopefully on the next outing or two.

I personally want to get some of the 81gr and see how they do compared to the 110gr.

Umarex  Big Brother Arrived Today

Which magazines are you referring to? The Notos or Zelos? I've already got aftermarket for the Notos as the factory one has given me problems from day 1. Didn't really come across anything mentioning Zelos magazines as being an issue when I was doing my research on it. So just eanted so double check
I was referring to the Zelos. These work well.

N/A  Regulator belleville stacking question

Actually the bevels are COUNTED ON to have a progressive nature, for seat to open and close with sorta low pressure losses of the plenum side the spring stack must have a Progressive / Elastic property to it.
* Too few of bevels, triple stacks or greater, either/or looses this progressiveness property and regs only want to react with larger swings in pressure loss within plenum. Likely why HILL chooses to use Coil springs in there Regs ???
Excellent point. FX was simply adding one or two extra Belvilles in the alternating configurations to achieve a stiffer stack. I'm pretty sure that FX doesn't sort their washers which is what I did but in-order to get the thickest it takes a bunch of them, the standard packages I was buying they followed a bell curve. I like the idea of shims but I'd still attempt to equal out the washers so the all work the same. I'll bet it'll still only be a 50 bar range.

Airgun Technologies  Uragan 2 Depinger Power level problems?

It must be a small clip in an o-ring or something similar. Its really small leak and it stops at around 100bar. The leak takes at least a full day to show itself.

Haven't had the time to investigate, for noe I just fill the gun and use it whenever. It works as intended for now.

Did you mess with the valve when dissasembling the gun? I haven't had any problem. How are you filling? I use a bottle so its a burst of HPA, maybe thats what it takes to close the valve until you get up to preasure.
No messing with the valve, but I got it working! Greenbeans reminded me to screw the red cap the gun came with and it built enough pressure to fill the gun. I have it shooting 18.5gr slugs at 1000fps in .177

Steyr  Steyr Evo 10 maintenance

Hello,

The manual for EVO 10 recommends greasing the following:
o-ring at the compressed air cylinder
o-ring at the loading port
cocking lever

As for the o-rings, do you just apply the lube on the o-ring or do you remove it first from the thread/port, lube and put back?

And as fr the cocking lever, I assume I need to remove the grip and then what?
I'm also wondering why they recommend using a silicone grease for the cocking lever - I would assume it's metal to metal contact so a molybdenum grease would be appropriate; not that I'm going to argue with Steyr, just wondering.

Thanks!

FX  .250 42gr H&N only going 700 fps

If the rubber ball is smashed you’re slamming your valve… might be your issue, meaning the hammer smacks the valve rod against the return so hard that it might bounce back and close the valve faster. This would mean that decreasing micro would give you more speed for a bit though and since your speed is decreasing if you turn micro down seems to speak against this… running out of ideas…
Ok thanks for your thorough. Maybe its time to change the rubber ball. Yesterday i turned the rubber ball sideways. So the flat side faces the valve housing. So i noticed a increase in fps.
Maybe its time to change the rubber ball.

What should i look for in a budget scope?

My opinion
Spina or CVLife
FFP
AliExpress
Spina 5.5-22x56 FFP
$109

The Illuminated Reticle is about $10 more
There is a Leupold knockoff 6-24x60 that are pretty good. Not FFP but Side Focus and Illuminated Reticle, $65.

Pellet expansion at slower speeds...for my notos

The HN Crow Magnums do the same thing. The problem is they dont do that reliably in a breathing target. Water and gel will show you the best case scenario and often times something that is not attainable outside of the test.
i was just out shooting pest chicken with those crow magnums at about 780fps out of my notos. shot them in the chest and the birds didn’t drop.
i switched over to 17.5gr nsa at 795fps and same POI and the chicken dropped on the spot.
expansion girth on bigger chicks is not always best, sometimes penetration is key.. gotta hit reach them guts.🫢
