FX  POI shift Impact vs Dynamic v King etc. ?

I own 2 impact FX,s and amongst friends have access to another 5 FX,s ... ALL have POI issues.
2 other friends sold of their FX,s due to this exact issue.

I myself will never purchase another FX unless they come up with a "Real" barrel and durable, consistent barrel system.

Accuracy itself can be astonishing... BUT !!! its just never in the same spot !!

Should we write our own product reviews?

Trapdoor2, I think I've followed your advice/thoughts on reviews without really thinking of it that way. If you put airgun reviews into a normal distribution curve, I always ignore the 5% skews on each side of the curve (highly critical & highly praising). I try to focus on the majority of the reviews which fall within the standard deviation and as close to the mean as possible. So basically, I focus more on the majority of opinions that are similar, if there are a lot of reviews. If it's some obscure airgun, then I just have to go with whats available and try to make an educated decision.

Airgun Technologies  Vulcan 3 700 mm .25 Cal and JSB knockouts

Hello guys can I use your expirience with vulcan 3 to learn something about the tuning on 700mm barrel cal 22 ? My question is on these longer barrel is it always advised to drop the speed about 20/30 fps with the hammer spring from the max peak to achive the best accuracy ? I mean do this rule work the same even on 700mm barrel, or you can have a shorter spread from the maximum peak like 10/20 fps becasue longer barrel are more forgiving, really thank you in advance <3

Stupid mistake

I finally got to the range to see if the liner was ruined.

First grouping was 1 inch at 50 yards using Caldwell bags. 5 shots

Second grouping was 4 shots in 3/4 inch at 50 yards and one flyer because I twitched as I pulled the trigger.

I think I got lucky and the liner is ok.

This is basically right out of the box with no adjustments at 50 yards

N/A  Edgun 2

Methinks all of the current Edguns we can get are now made in the USA - an operation the company set up after restrictions of Russian imports after the the invasion of the Ukraine. So less likely now to have Russian based holiday sales. ;)

So buyers need to count on whatever sales or discounts Edgun dealers will give. I believe that Airguns of Arizona is an Edgun dealer, and their recent (now concluded) Memorial Day sale was 10% off store-wide.

Daisy  1894 restoration

I would use an epoxy paint. Or something for appliances .
That stuff flows out pretty nice from a rattle can. Most rattle can paints don't level well. Problem is the color. Factory just used enamel. If black is satisfactory I use Rustoleum oil enamel sprayed through one of these mini spray guns and get terrific results with no orange peel. Flows out like glass (IF, IF you know what you're doing). At least as durable as the original paint.
