Is there a competitive scope that's under 1k (new) for WFTF?

just won two bets on ebay. the 392 is same one I had In 1992. I'm excited. hopefully it gets here safe.

In my quest to find the perfectly balanced, lightweight air gun and after going through 20 high end Airguns, I’ve come to a personal conclusion - I prefer an air bottle style rifle to an air tube style. This is becoming more and more obvious by the remaining guns in my collection AND which ones get used the most AND my HFT match scores.

Why?

Weight distribution on an air bottle style rifle tends to keep the center of gravity lower, thus the rifle is less tippy once scoped.

I’ve never thought about how to measure tippyness, and this is only a problem when your horizontal holding axis is canted, but it is most definitely a thing.

I love me a sweet air tube rig; up until I’m standing or kneeling and that’s when the struggle begins as body mechanics and hold becomes absolutely critical. That said I also noticed this tippyness when using my Primos Trigger sticks as I had to readjust the head rest back to vertical much more often.

Anyone else notice this?

I had very difficult work schedules the entire summer, last time I visited my gun club BR back somewhere in June. These two 14 liter scba tanks were sitting the entire time fully top up.
Somewhere in mid August I wanted to use the right tank (with sticker on it), the seal under the valve knob broke. Fine, I put it aside and used the left tank couple of times. Today I wanted to refill my Leshiy2 and this valve knob seal broke as well. So ended up with two fully charged tanks now, and speculating there is no other way around but degass. Measured the pressure and with a leak there is still about 260 bars in each, or perhaps more.
I still have one 9 liter Acecare as a spare for case of emergency .



The tank on the left side I replaced the scba to DIN valve somewhere in 2019-20, and I still have one valve BNIB.



I am just looking at these valves in a bag, I don't see a way how could I open them to re-seal, hypothetically if I could find orings for these...
Tinkering now to order two new - better quality valves, or just buy one new 9 liter Acecare again ???
With a single 9 liter tank a bench rest tethering is a little bit on the modest side, but two tanks may put me back in the game with full capacity.

I had filled PCPs to 250 BAR 3600 psi before easily and yet I often hear that unless you are 250 pounds it cannot be done and your body will be lifted ( I'm 145 pound )

Tried and tried to make people see the light but I always get shot down with rhetoric and often hearsay,....well today I filled the Huben pistol not once but several time to 5000 psi, my 145 pounds did just fine and to go from 180 BAR to 350 BAR 5000 psi really took no time and minimal effort.

As winter approaches new england I'm not passing up any days to shoot especially since I do about 12 hours a day the last 6 weeks of the year at work.

Got to my spot about 630 this morning. Immediately saw multiple targets in the trees. Bagged one within a couple minutes of settling in. The second one was a 60ish yard shot and it dropped onto a nook of the tree it was in and I couldn't recover it. 3rd was a face thru shoulder shot about 25 yards.

I recovered my 1st and 3rd. and settled back in. About 30 minutes later I landed two playing grab ass around a trunk of a maple. Hit one with a spine shot from the back and it fell Immediately, and the other went around the trunk and stopped with its left side towards me. I smoked that one in the face too. Both of those went into the the thicket at the base of the tree and I couldn't retrieve those either. I knew better with how thick it was, but I could resist. They both died and I'm sure a fox or coyote will find them soon enough.

Trees are full of them barking, I'm going to stay for a bit longer and see if I get a few more, but they're definitely on to me now.

I did also get a good head shot on a fat sparrow too. Just to pass the time lol.

Wondering about the male end of my 0DB that came with BRK Atomic XR. I'm new to the PCP world so please excuse my ignorance. I see all moderators come with a female end. My 110C has a male end. I assume it's removable. If so, how is it removed? I tried unscrewing it, but no go. Couldn't find much with my initial searching. If someone can enlighten me, that'd be really helpful.

they are bought rti prophet2 it was very bad gun for benchrest .. rti barrel just love some 25gr rd.also regulator of rti was not very good ...so in first match they failed with prophet.

they decide to put fx liner on prophet with 1:24 twist rate 800mm and also they replaced rti regulator with one regulator that made in iran . also they changed many parts of this gun to be perfect.... like hammer spring.. valve seat...pellet probe....
also they shoot one slug that made in iran and it works very very good on fx barrel. (ZRN Slug)



the results after hard working on rti was amazing . now they have iran record 100m-75 yard-50 m.

Looking at something on fleabay. Seller has ok ratings, but more concerned about getting hit with outrageous customs/import fees. Anyone here ordered anything from India if so what were the fees like? The online fee calculator is just so confusing to understand.

Hello everyone and thanks for allowing me to join the forum. I’m pretty excited to get going with my first real air rifle. My last one was a pump daisy about 30 years ago . It’s an Impact in .22 (600mm). I am told I will most likely need a heavy slug liner to shoot slugs well, but I want to give the stock rifle a shot with slugs first. Nick at Nielson Specialty Ammo gave me a handful of lighter weight slugs to try (his shop is about 15 mins down the road, so super convenient… plus he and his family are super helpful and all around great people). He gave me some 20.2 grainers in .217 and some 23.0 grainers in .216 and .217. I can’t wait to get a full understanding of tuning this rifle. It seems like it’s very user friendly and versatile. I will gladly accept any tips or tricks you may have for me, or pitfalls to avoid. Thanks again!!

I picked up 4 Sheridans today , that are in various states of disrepair. I need help with one trying to get a general idea year of build, it has no serial #, the other 3 do. The closeups are of the one I'm trying Id. There is 1SS, 1BS, 1 silver C series and 1 C series. All the stocks looked like the 1 before I cleaned them. The silver C works and the one I'm trying to Id
