Thermal Video - Shooting a warm can in the cold

Hello again, Airgunning Brothers and Sisters.

I have been wanting to do this video for a while, but I had to come up with a system to convert the *.H264 video format into something I could edit, and here we are!!

I was "playing" with the production of this one, and put some "ominous music" during the thermal sections. I liked the way it turned out, and it is pretty fun to watch if I do say so myself. Let me know what you think. I hope that you enjoy watching this as much as I enjoyed making it!!

Bipods/Rests  NLA Benchrest Rifle Rest

Hello everyone,

"DEAL PENDING" I fabricated this Rifle Rest using the main system from a Caldwell Lead Sled. This Benchrest Rifle Rack will accept any rifle with a “standard stock” and or a “tactical style stock” for more accurate target shooting. It is super stable but not too heavy so it can be portable. It has precise “Windage” adjustment and “Elevation” adjustment to make it easy and fast to acquire a bullseye and move to the next bullseye. The Trigger area is free and clear for easy access and the Butt of the rifle expose to be shouldered.

Contact me if you have any questions.

The price includes Free Shipping to the lower 48 states

I have this listed on my website so it can be purchased with a credit card.

Asking $295.00 or make me an offer.

PCP Rifle  WTS Insane deal because I want to go on vacation BinTac s45 PACKAGE for $900

I’m liquidating most of my collection as I don’t have space for all these Pelican cases and I never get to shoot anyway. Shot this once at Manchester Firing Line and had a blast but due to work and the gf it has otherwise sat in a case with a humidity control unit and anti corrosion device. Super powerful, it has a kick and having the retractable bolt is a ton of fun, reloading and letting the bolt fly on a full mag feels like a powder burner :devilish:

This package includes the s45 with CNC folding stock ($1499 msrp). It has 5 OEM mags (3 extra $177 msrp), a tank-to-pic adapter ($46 msrp), it also has the rear tank adapter ($50 msrp) if you want to add a second tank, and right now there’s a 700cc (front) tank ($300 msrp) on there straight from Bin but he gave me the original tank as well. Whole package full price would be $1772/$2072, listing for $900 if you want the original tank or $1100 if you want either of the carbon fiber tanks shown in the second picture (there’s a 700 and 580) AND the original. I’ll include the front tank upgrade adapter even if you only purchase it with the original tank so you can still add your own if you want to put it on at some point.

Also I’ll sprinkle in an assortment of s45 certified ammo from Mr Hollowpoint and Texoma Precision (Jim). You can buy the rest if you’d like as well. (Slugs will be shipped USPS flat rate)

Pictures speak for themselves regarding the excellent condition, there's a ding near where the mag slides in that has zero impact on functionality. Will upload a pic when I get back home

(Listing does not include the overbore bipod, optics, or hush can)

Btw because someone with a good eye asked, the pictures in this listing are from multiple points in time (sometimes with a different tank) hence the different pressure readings.

Sheridan  Education needed - Sheridan Blue Streak Model CB (5mm/.20Cal) W/Box

Hello all,

I am am a newbie to this forum and would like to gather more information regarding this Sheridan Blue Streak that ended up in my collection not long ago.
It came from a long time friend who also had some very early Crossman air rifles.
This one is obviously in near new condition with box.

Curious about when it might have been made?
And any additional knowledge on this would be appreicated.

N/A  Barra 250Z (Shot Show booth footage)

The 250Z stuff starts at 5:40

Gun looks awesome to me. Air tube over the barrel. Rear cocking bolt. Seems lightweight and tunable with adjustable regulator and hammer spring adjustments. 22 and 25 caliber. Says the 25 comes out of the box at 50 fpe and you can adjust it up or down from there.

Best part is it's a Barra so I can probably afford one when it comes out. Poor man's FX DRS!

First PCP Scope

Hi. I'm new here. I just received my first PCP yesterday. I got the Avenge-x Classic .22. I also ordered the Donnyfl Yokozuna and have a portable compressor on the way. I'm stuck trying to decide on a scope. I'm good with spending up to $350ish. I will only be target shooting and no hunting. My distance will be 75 yards and less. Mostly shooting probably around 35-50 yards. I am currently using a 3x9 Nikon Prostaff on my Hammerli 850 that I took off a rimfire gun, but there isn't any parallax adjustment. I have been looking at the Hawke or Vortex after reading a lot about scopes on this forum. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Bobby

Rifle Rest - Custom Precision One of a Kind

Hello everyone,

A couple of months ago I decided to design and build a Precision Rifle Rest for my benchrest shooting and this is what I came up with. I wanted it to be extremely precision and at the same time be versatile to accept any style of rifle with a standard stock and or a tactical stock. I also wanted it to have enough weight to be very stable but light enough to be portable so it could be taken to the rifle range. I spent just over three weeks doing the design in AutoCAD and then almost two weeks assembling and building.

I designed the Main Base, the Adapter Plate and the Rear Rest Bracket out of ½ inch thick aluminum plate, which I had cut to shape with a waterjet machine. I installed Brass Threaded Inserts everywhere I used stainless steel hardware so as to eliminate any galvanic corrosion or possible galling. I installed three Leveling Screws to establish a “three-point mounting” that allows the unit to be stable on almost any surface. The rear Leveling Screw is “static” to establish a negative stance on the Base.

For windage control I installed a heavy duty Precision Linear Slide that is extremely positive and operates as smooth as silk. I designed the Adapter Plate to mount on the top center of the Linear Slide so that I could then mount the “Z-Axis” control for elevation. The Elevation Control gives me 50+ inches of vertical movement out at just 10-meters, and of course a lot more out at 25-yards and further.

The Front Rest Yoke was fabricated out of stainless 3/8-inch round rod and covered with a soft plastic tube to grip, hold and protect the rifle. I made two different Rear Rest Yokes, one is designed for any Standard Rifle Stock and the other designed for a Tactical Style of stock. Both Rear Rest Yokes are also made using stainless 3/8-inch round rod and covered with soft plastic tube. There is zero movement when a rifle is placed in the two Yokes, this make the rifle ROCK SOLID.

I am really enjoying using this unit and consider all the work worth the time and effort.

Brocock/BRK  Ghost and heavy slugs

Yes, the BRK Ghost shoots heavy slug at +1000fps velocity.

Lately I’ve been asked a lot if the BRK Ghost can provide high energy or shoot heavy slugs with high velocity. At first I was surprised of the question but then I realized that the people asking did not own a Ghost yet and were listening to some fan boys, paid bad influencers or pretentious experts who were talking…nonsense. I don’t want to do the same and just talk so I’m uploading a video that will do the talking to me.

Furthermore, I would like to share with you my experience, the Ghost has A LOT of potential!! The same platform can be a 12ft lbs and a super powerful heavy slug blower even with the same regulator (sorry UK) all you should do is to caress the regulator knob and change the barrel which takes one minute. And yes, a big YES it is very accurate, I’ve been shooting it and getting great results in competitions locally and at EBR23 and Fady Kiwan won the world championship at 50 meters and got a 247/250 world record points. Thus the World Record Ghost. These recurring good results are not by chance.

Bottom line whomever owns a BRK Ghost is a lucky shooter and will have to enjoy a lot of quality time tuning it and discovering its huge potential.

A Danes hunt for a larger caliber air rifle / permission to buy such a thing

So in the past days i have tried the hunter approach to getting a air rifler > 1.77 / 4.5 mm

The law here state there is 2 ways you can do that.

1: you can be a hunter with a hunting permit of course, in which case you just buy what rifle / caliber you like.
A "large " caliber rifle must of course be stored like any hunting weapon so a lockable rifle safe.
Additional you can get a hunting licence, this is generally dont by taking a evening class on the subject ( not idea how many weeks this is ) but you can actually take a crash course and get a hunting licence in 4 weeks, this if course will cost something VS evening classes which i think are free.

Anyway passing a 40 question written test ( need 36 correct ) and then a practical exam in weapon handling and discharge + range evaluation / safety, that is still a lot i feel to be able to procure a air rifle to shoot paper.

2; Via a membership of a sports shooting club.
I dont think this is possible CUZ with air at least they only shoot 4.5 mm and the traditional disciplines
Also i am not aware of a single such club that have the opportunity to shoot benchrest, and for sure not distances over 50 M, only if the club have handicap facilities would this be somewhat possible i assume.

So having depleted my options ( fast ) in the hunting department, i am left with the sports clubs, and these i have today contacted 4 of by E-mail.
So will be interesting to see what they say, but TBH i have my doubts that this is in any way possible, i suppose due to a set of HYPER strict and complicated rules, and maybe a bucket load of conservatism in the clubs,,,,, " anything new is dangerous and should be avoided, and we better not rock the boat "

If any Danish members know of a easier way ( legal of course ) well i am all ears,,,,, Dumbo sized ears.

FX  FX Impact M3 .22 WOW!

I recently received my new Impact M3 from Allen Z… he set it up with a Helix scope and a full-barrel moderator which is his design (700mm). He did a fantastic ballistic tune and set my scope up with yardage marks on his custom turret cap.
I’m 79 and don’t have an understanding of all the tuning adjustments so I paid a true PCP expert to do it. Wow! It’s deadly and mouse fart silent. He’s the man if you want precision. Thank you Allen for your work.

Ordering from Natchez

Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone had some ordering experiences they could share about Natchez. They have a great deal on the air gun I want, but I am not sure if saving the money is worth not ordering from a reputable air gun dealer. Does anyone know if they test fire and examine like some other distributors? To me I’d rather have the peace of mind of ordering once and getting a working gun versus saving the money and having to deal with returns. Thanks in advance for any advice or opinions!

Kalibrgun  Love my Cricket .22

I really love shooting my Cricket .22....for the past couple months I've really been into deer hunting and shooting my powder burners. I got a new 220 20 ga. slug gun and bought a mold and casted my own slugs and worked up an awesome load for them and got a new Ruger PCC 9mm, I worked up another awesome load for it with the 124 XTP bullets...my poor Cricket has just been sitting in my shop in the case. Today the weather was nice and I pulled the Cricket out and shot it some on my backyard range at 50 yards. The first target, I shot two clips at the same bull with the Nielson 17.5 slugs and it made me smile......:) The bull is 2 in dia...........
